A fun zoo...especially for small children. It specializes in local and domestic animals and can be visited in 30 - 40 minutes. The bird aviary, otter exhibit, and butterfly house all captivate young imaginations. The farm animal exhibit is a good hands on experience for young and old alike. A fun time.

Its mostly farm animals. The aviary is pretty cool. My favorite area was the ducks.... who knew there were so many kinds. They have some otters which are fun to watch and alligators but youre not going to see any exotic animals. Young children might enjoy it though.

Lovely local wildlfe zoo. Animals in natural habitats. Outdoor aviary is wonderful, a boardwalk through a natural swamp with LOTS of wading birds

Always a joy to visit. Highly recommend, especially if you have young kids. Expect alot of walking, so bring water...factor in humidity as well.

Very nice place nestled in Murrels Inlet. The zoo is cute and quaint and full of local animals and information.

Very nice. The gardens and statues was well designed. In the summer it can be very humid so dress accordingly.

Take advantage of the free tour offered daily to see the animals up close. They really come out to get fed.
