Growing up I went to Branch Brook quite frequently and from my satisfaction (as a kid) I thought to have my sons third birthday party there. The party was reserved three weeks in advance with a 25 non refundable deposit with the balance being due the Friday before. I spoke with my party Coordinator Ms. Jay one week before the party just to go over the final touches for the party. At this time I was advised that the balance was due that Friday before. I tried to call that Friday before to make arrangements for payment but nobody was available. So i proceeded to call Saturday and was told that there was a late fee of 25 for not paying that previous day which was fine because it had stated that in the contract. That Sunday was my sons party and when we arrived we immediately noticed that it was extremely hot there. So I began to think that maybe since it early the air hasnt kicked in yet so I would give it some time. After about 30 to 40 mins there was still no change in the condition so I proceeded to ask my server if there was a problem with the air and he said yes, its been out since last week. Myself and several other guests then proceeded to speak with the manager, who apologized for the inconvenienced and offered a fan for the discomfort. Keep in mind that we are in the end of June and its at least 90 degrees outside. The fan did not provide much comfort as it did not cover the entire area where my attendees were sitting. After about an hour into the party several of my guest had become drenched with sweat and some began to take their children and leave. By now I am frustrated because I am now stuck with the cost of paying for guests who was unable to enjoy themselves. I then asked for the manager again to express my frustration and asked for some sort of compensation or if the additional 25 late fee can be waived at least. She said she would check with her GM who declined to offer anything besides passes for all of my guest to return to the park at a later time. This may have been acceptable if this was not something that was already included with the Birthday package. I said that would not suffice because we were entitled to that anyway, she shrugged her shoulders and said that there was nothing else that she can do. From this point myself and other guests had asked for corporates email to make a complaint. An email was sent to corporate that same day and here its almost two weeks later and we havent even gotten so much as an acknowledgment that our email was received. I am upset because I feel that we were deceived, had my party coordinator advise me of the conditions when I spoke to her earlier that week I could have planned differently such as postponing the party until the air was fixed, or even have it somewhere else. Because this was not disclosed to me nor were their any signs up outside stating this, I was forced to have my child party here with above 90 degree temps. I am outraged and in disbelief at how a business that has been around for so many years could be so unprofessional about handling this situation appropriately.

Everytime I come to this place, there are new stupid rules. The last time, I had to give my state license as collateral for a pair of toddler skates. This time, Im told that I have to pay regular price for a non skater under the age of 18! Its bad enough the food is disgusting, the bathroom stinks, and the floors are always dirty! At times, they even have security searching bags... My children love skating with their friends, but enough is enough with this place.

So one of my friends got pushed around several times from one of the adults there. I think he was going way to fast, and crashed into my friend face first. Over all, I think the place is awesome to skate at, but I dont think people should go so fast! I mean, there are so many little children there and some adults there go way too fast. The claw machine is great, but a lot of the times it gets stuck. At least it gives you endless chances until you get a prize.

The concept is good, but the place is full and the people in there just skate as animals. They push you and get in your way with no respect. The bathrooms are just terrible. The customer sevice at the skate rentals and in the other areas is good, but the guy in the rink is so rude. Overall... The concept is good, but I wont go there again.

I took my camp group here as we have been here before in the past. The children were age 9, 10 and 11. Everyone did not know how to skate but they had a great time. The staff gave everyone wrist guards and a few campers had walkers to help them skate. If your going with a group get there early.

Music on adult Sunday has become unskateable, far From the WBLS old skool skating beat. Hope they bring back the old skool skateable music. Also dangerous non-skaters are allowed to hang on the edge,making entire groups fall. As well as click groups of Chain speed skaters hog the rink.

I like the roller skating rink BUT it is REALLY RUN DOWN & old. > It NEEDS to be REFURBISHED & run more professionally. > Its really HOT in there > most of the video games are OUT OF ORDER or DONT WORK PROPERLY. ALSO, 1/2 of the ceiling tiles are missing (looks ridiculous).

Went on a night that must have been for professionals only. I mean speed skaters and possibly figure skaters took over the rink. Plus, the waxed floors were way too sticky for my liking. I might consider it again when its intermediate skills only.

I went to this place twice so far... once in 2012 and again now in 2013... I was really amazed in 2012... This time Weather is not that good.... dont have the full blossom yet.. will go next week again... overall its an awesome place to visit...

Had a roller skates party here for my niece the place was awesome. The staff went above and beyond to make it a day she will remember. I definitely would recommend this to everyone who wants a wonderful rolling party.

I did not really enjoy the experience. The food was fairly horrible. There is just no room to skate unless you either want to get bumped into or tripped over. Honestly I would never come back here in my life again.

Great place for family skating, birthday parties and recreational activities. Adult nights here are top notch. Security is high and no nonsense is tolerated. Located inside the park, not visible from the street.

I truly like going to Branch Brook and especially the the floor and the DJs. It would be awesome if they fixed the air conditioning, as when the temps are in the 90s outside it is very uncomfortable inside. Thx

Were always there every chance that we get! I take my 8yr old little girl and let her have her fun. Good music ,the food is great and the people in the crowd are simply just having a great time!
