Funtime America in Eatontown, NJ Pros: Clean, safe equipment for adults and kids. Friendly, knowledge staffs. The shift managers walked around the store, talking to customers and asking them about their experiences. Short waiting lines for ticketed games. Easy to use coat racks. Clean restrooms. Free parking. Private party areas available. Cons: 10-15 minutes waiting in line to buy tickets and tokens at the front door. Not all floor token machines worked. Limited parking spaces. Limited seating in food court. Not all games were available for play. This review is based on my personal experience visiting Funtime America on these two dates: Jan 02, 2015 (Friday lunch date, without the kids, 12pm - 2pm) - Store was full of parents, teens, and kids. Easy to navigate around them. - Played laser tag (must sign up beforehand). Friendly staff. Equipment were clean and worked very well. - Rode bumper car. About a 5 minutes wait. Also friendly staff. Cars were clean but squeaked. - Ordered pizza and soda. Great kitchen staff. About a 15 minutes wait for fresh oven pizza. Self seated, limited seating, but we found one within 10 minutes of ordering. - Played the games (must buy game tokens, 1 token = $0.25). Games ranged from 1 to 8 tokens to play. Feb 15, 2015 (Sunday with kids, 11am - 2:30pm) - Only a handful of families were at the store. - Played laser tag (must sign up beforehand). Outstanding, funny staff. Equipment were clean and worked very well. - Played the games. The kids loved the games. Collected tickets and traded in for prizes. Prizes were okay kid toys. Some electronic prizes were available. - Ordered pizza and soda. Great kitchen staff. About a 15 minutes wait for fresh oven pizza. Self seated, limited seating, but we found one within 10 minutes of ordering. - Store became busy around 12pm. - Rode bumper car. Store may have been under staff as no staff was available for this ride until after lunch. Overall, we enjoyed our time at Funtime America and we will be taking the kids back there soon.

I took my daughter to FTA today. What a nightmare! I asked for one of their "packages" (which was $16.95) and was informed that it was only a weekend offer. When I pointed out that nowhere does it say that on the brochure that they had me look at or on the price board that was displayed. Their answer to me is that is on our website and they refused to honor it. Talk about a bait and switch! I had to purchase a package that only had limited rides along with the bounce house. No rock climbing and no laser tag. Once we were in, there appeared to be two or three staff members for the entire place. To go on a ride, you first had to go look for someone to operate it, who acted as if they were being bothered. There was no one to supervise the children on any of the bouncing houses. Most of the arcade machines take 3 or 4 tokens to play so you go though a lot of money in a very short time. To top it off, the prizes are are a ridiculous amount of tickets. There are much better alternatives to FTA, including Iplay America in Freehold, Chuck E Cheese if you want arcade games with prizes (each game there is only 1 token), Buster and Daves, or one of the arcade places such as Yesterdays in Red Bank. We wont be coming back in the future.

For kids between 5 to 12 it is OK, but it is under staffing, we wait hours for "The Viper" because they didnt have staff for that game even that they already sold several tickets, but at the end it got broke with kids inside, it was scary, the kids were left upside down they guy was alone and scared didnt know what to do, I went to call another staff member for help, he laughed on me... Then the manager and 3 members more came to help... They closed the game but instead of give your money back they gave you coins....Arcades are very expensive and some work with real money not with coins, Games are 4 coins or $2 in real money, some staff are nice and friendly but others are mean and dont know how to deal with customers.

Been waiting a long time for it to finally get open but WOW!!! This new place is beautiful, has everything you would expect from an "indoor" amusemant park but the food was incredible, fantastic service, hi tech with flat screen tvs everytwhere, bounces, great rides, all new games everywhere. I went grand opening so it was very busy with some long lines but still great and right next to Monmouth mall, AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place is ridiculous if you have any kids between the ages of 2 to 4 is no point in bringing them here they can get a ride out there that can play the games but they cant really see the games to play them and they always say oh we sorry, we used to have rides for kids what about now worst service ever would never come back.

Its fun for an hour or two. The crane of toys is a rip off. Not a lot of staff to attend (start) rides, you wait forever for someone to help you. No supervision. Good place for kids 5+ needs more things to do.

Its a nice place for the kids but its almost impossible for them to redeem any prizes unless you get them $20 worth of tokens. The only thing here worth doing is the laser tag.

Games are on the high price side at min 2 tokens per play with many being 4 but not as big of an issue if you get the tokens in bulk. Good rides and bounce castles/slides.

Good service. I got a black wired speaker for 4500 tickets, but I will come back and edit this review to say if it works correctly or not.
