We stayed here for a bowling tournament and the bowling alley has like 70 lanes. Its pretty cool actually. So heres the real deal... valet parking is free and the bell hop is fast to and from the rooms. TGIFridays inside the hotel is really nice and they have a happy hour at night from 6 to close with $6 appetizers. The slot game selection is pretty good, I even saw some older games that i used to play long ago and it was cool to play them again. There is a free shuttle to the strip with one stop at the orleans casino but in all the ride is maybe 10 min... and free, so worth it. The room I stayed in had a double bed and was plenty of room for 3 people. The house keepers do knock early so make sure you put your "do not disturb" sign up if you plan to sleep after 9am lol. The air conditioning was very cold but adjustable so it was nice. The shampoo, conditioner and lotions they provided smelled really nice. The towels and bedding was also quite pleasant. They do provide a coffee pot including coffee and sugar and powdered milk. Also have a hair dryer in the room. I can say that the staff was nice, the drinks were quick and the casino wasnt overly crowded. All in all its a great hotel but I had to rate it only 4 stars because the elevators are a little noisy and seem outdated also, one of the elevators doesnt tell you which floor youre on because the LED isnt working. Bring a cup if you plan to bring your beer down to the casino, they will stop you otherwise but told us we could get a cup from the bar and pour it in however, the cups were tiny... The buffet is great. It has a lot of choices and theyre all very good. Get a players card and receive a discount. Also they give you a coupon book when you are checking in, use the coupon when signing up for the players card and get a $5 food voucher once you obtain 5 points (which $1= 1 point) Happy vacationing! And good luck!

This is an older casino, nice small place. Not as major or over the top as the ones on the strip. Came here to play some bingo with my mom a couple times and won like $300. Lots of slots. They have a table area but I dont recall seeing them? I know They have them though. I stick to slots. Theres a tram that goes between here, the orleans and the high roller near the linq on the strip about every 15 minutes give or take. If youre looking for somewhere to play and not be overwhelmed, here or the orleans are both good and both use the bconnected players club card. I usually stay at the orleans because they offer me free rooms there, but Ive started getting some for here too. Havent actually used a room here yet, will update review if I do. They have a noodle restaurant, a tgi fridays and some other places but I havent eaten at any here. Seems a lot smaller than the orleans. Easy walk across the street to the palms casino if you want to go there. Little bit farther down the street but still walking distance is the rio hotel and casino if you want to walk there. Not sure how good of an area this is to be walking alone in though after dark since its off the strip. Dont travel alone here after dark outside. Stick to the well lit areas near casinos. Free snacks and drinks during bingo! Bingo is good if you want to kill some time without losing tons of $$$. Cost like $60 at the most, very good chance of winning a big pot to make your $ back. Some games have different pots or amounts you can win so its nice to try a couple different bingo sessions. Each session is about 1 hour with another hour between sessions. You can play with your choice of cards you daub yourself or you can use a electronic pad that does it for you, all you have to do is call bingo.

One of their drivers was extremely belligerent toward a female passenger. His actions include berating her in public in front of a fully occupied bus, threatening her, refusing to drive the shuttle, demanding in a loud and angry voice for an explanation, and giving her a long angry lecture, shouting obscenities at her. All because she tried to get away from a sick passenger who was sneezing onto her. When she left her seat to find one elsewhere and discovered the bus was full, she had no choice but to return to the seat she had vacated. And then the driver just gave it to her. No one wants to be treated like that as a guest of the hotel chain. What a disgusting display by the shuttle driver. He should have been courteous, firm and polite. After explanations were given to him, he got even louder and ruder and scolded the poor woman non-stop for a good 5 or 10 minutes until the next driver arrived. There was a crowd outside the bus at the Gold Coast waiting to board as well, and this driver just stood there by the open doorway and kept yelling at this poor passenger. I will NEVER ride this bus again.

I like it because there isnt always tons of people there at all hours whom youve got to fight thru to get to the gambling game tables. The parking lot is large and I drive a big ol truck so parking is usually a pain in the butt any casino I go to. The strip makes parking my truck almost impossible. So the gold coast is really chill and more of a locals type of casino I think it feels like that anyway. The workers are always really polite and helpful without intruding or irratating you. Clean inside and the parking lot had some litter scattered around a couple times but that was after windy days. Its well lit inside and there arent any beggars outside or weirdos you gotta keep an eye out for...haha. all around I loved the place and I think you should check it out if youre not feeling the strip s crowds and expensive everything! Gold coast has 3 dollar buy ins. Pretty sweet. And the free drinks arent just watered down food coloring or whatever you usually get drowned in "for free" at most casinos. Prompt and attentive service. Check it out. enjoy.

Well never really had a problem like today. We went to check in and couldnt find our reservation. The customer service was awful. The receptionist was rude and said she couldnt check us in because we didnt have a confirmation code. I had booked the rooms the day before in person at the desk and she told me that I didnt book them with them because they dont do that. I said I was here last night and booked them and the lady said see you tomorrow. I know we booked them. So she went to talk to someone and they authorized her to do a new reservation. Never asked us info about the room or apologized for the inconvenience. Now we get to the room and its 2 bed instead of 1 like our reservation had. The Wi-Fi doesnt work the TV turns off on its own and is looking for signal. Just a frustrating stay. The only good thing is the great Bell man that offered us to go get ice all the way down the hall since she put us in the last room on the floor. But hopefully it will get better...
