VALET DAMAGED MY BMW and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE @ MANDALAY BAY STAFF: I would like to file a few complaints during my stay at Mandalay Bay on July 19, 2017 and checked out on July 21, 2017. This was my FIRST and LAST hotel stay ever on an MGM Mirage Property because of the way I was treated. These are the complaints I have during my stay at Mandalay Bay last week: - The bellman took 2 hours to deliver my luggages from where I valet my car to my room level 29-117 - There was no complimentary water or coffee for this hotel. I traveled all the time for business and for leisure and this is the first and ONLY hotel where you guys dont provide complimentary water or coffee. I asked the front desk for a complimentary water and they advised me the hotel doesnt provide that for the guests? - The cardio gym was too small and some of the guests must wait to use the machines and also there was no towels provided. No one came in from one of the staff to put more towels in the cardio room. I came to the cardio room around 7 am and all towels are out. - My wife and I went to the pool area on Wednesday and Thursday to relax. Around noon, we ordered to get hot dogs and corn dogs and the server advised us that Mandalay Bay ran out of hot dogs and corn dogs on both days? This is not about the hot dogs but Im just making a point about how a multi million dollar company run out of hot dogs and corn dogs on a summer day? Lots of guests are complaining about how the Food and Bev Dept can mess up this up? - My wife and I stayed until they closed the pool at 8 pm. How is it the staff will not allow me to bring up my beach towel in my room so I dont walk around soaked and wet in the hotel? Ive stayed in Disney Aulani Hawaii on numerous counts, I just got back from Miami trip at a Hilton about 2 months ago, I went to NYC Marriott Hotel just to name a few and this is the first hotel where they dont allow their guests to bring up the towels to their room? The staff advised me they do this because the hotel wants to make sure the guests do NOT take the towels home. This is ridiculous. - Finally and most importantly, I got my BMW from the valet guy on Friday July 21 at around 11 am after I checked out from my room. At first I didnt noticed that my car was damaged. Right after I left the Mandalay Bay premises, I was sitting on a traffic light on Las Vegas Blvd and Warm Springs when i suddenly noticed that the buttons for my lights have been damaged. I quickly made a U turn back to talk to the Lead Supv in the Valet Dept. I spoke to Chaisson (Valet Supv) and he advised me that he will contact me later on that Friday afternoon but he never did. Today, Mike the director of the facilities dept advised me that theres nothing they can do to help me because I left the premises for a minute and came back. He said I should have noticed it right before I left the valet parking area. This is unacceptable and I will seek LEGAL ACTIONS if no one can help me with this issue. Valet guy damaged my car and they are NOT willing to help me. This is absurd. This was the WORST vacation I ever had because of my experience at Mandalay Bay. This experience was horrible and the staff DO NOT show any concerns about their guests. This will be the LAST time I will check in an MGM Mirage Hotel chains.

I will NEVER return!! I recently stayed for my annual girls trip to Vegas and I just wanted to say this stay was a total disappointment. We have stayed at several different resorts in Las Vegas and I have to say, Mandalay Bay was the worst experience I have had so far. We checked in on Thursday, April 13th and stayed until Monday April 17th and if I didnt already pay for the ammenities/room I would have switch to a different facility. First of all, it was Spring Break for Nevada and California so there were several children at the resort. I understand you cannot control guest and the age of them; however, I do feel as if your staff was totally unprepared for the amount of people at the facility. I would have thought they would have made arrangements based upon booking to ensure proper staffing. I spoke with several other guests and they also concurred with my assessment as they said they all had a hard time receiving prompt service. Marketing is the pool area, as it is advertised "Mandalay Bay" is an experience. It was an experience, a negative one. The pool was extremely over-crowded and the children were uncontrolled by the staff. The pool area at the facility is small and honestly in comparison to MGM, the pool area is lacking in size, accomodation and service. I would recommend an adult only pool area as this would be enticing to individuals like myself and my friend. We ordered lunch 3 out of 4 days we stayed at the facility and honestly to have to wait for and hour plus to get lunch is ridculous. Futhermore, the lunch was slapped together like I received a sandwich from 7-11 not a lunch from a resort. Once again, a total disappointment. I usually like to enjoy the lazy river and like to walk it throughout my day; however, the people and children "playing" and "rough housing" in the lazy river made it impossibly to enjoy a relaxing time in the lazy river. The resturants were lacking variety. The Noodle Shop was very good food; however, the service to get a check at the end of my meal took another 30 minutes. The House of Blues had excellent service; however, the food was mediocre in comparison to many resturants I have frequented in Vegas. The staff at Eye Candy were "rude" and that is being generous in description. The bartenders were rude and getting service, they acted as if we were interrupting their day. Overall, I received better service and treatment at other casinos while walking the strip then I did at yours during my stay. I usually wont bother contacting a business or writing a review when I am unsatisfied with their services, I just do not return. However, I was SO DISAPPOINTED with the resort and facility I was compelled to write a review. I would have given "zero" stars if I could have, but one star is the lowest rating possible.

Preface: There was absolutely nothing wrong with the cleanliness of the room, or the service of the staff. Everybody was polite and helpful. That prevents it from being a one star review. I am also only reviewing it as a hotel, and ignoring the gambling side, as I was there as a hotel guest on business, and did not use the casino. Now, like many business travelers, we used egencia, or an equivalent. You can sort by price, location, etc. Well, Mandalay bay was the closest hotel to where we needed to be, and wow, only 78$ per night for the rooms? Great! So, we booked the rooms and got to the hotel. When checking in, we were notified that there was a 35$ "Resort Fee" as well that was mandatory. So ignoring any weasly fine print, essentially they are gaming travel aggregators and trip planners, by posting a misleading price and getting you in the check-in line where you just want to get to your room. I am OK with charging extra for more services, eg, if you want to use the waterpark, its a 35$ charge, or whatever, but straight up misleading prices is a major piss-off. If you list a room for $78 plus tax, then I want to pay 78$ plus tax. No cable company billing BS. Now next major complaint. I ate at StripSteak, which is a reasonably expensive restaurant in the Mandalay Bay complex. No complaints on the food, very tasty, and great fries! The servings were huge, so I got some leftovers. The hotel rooms dont have available fridges! They DO havew a fridge in them, but it is full of booze and pressure sensors that bill the room if any of it is touched. So I couldnt fit the leftovers in there. I had to call and get a fridge brought up so i could attempt to not waste my food. And luckily they waived the $30 charge on that. Which is good, because it turned out that the fridge was broken, so I came back from work the next day to find the inside of the fridge warm, and all the food ruined anyway. I get it. They want to encourage people to eat out, and spend money, etc etc. But I felt that the policies and room setup showed a basic lack of respect to customers, and I will not be staying there again. I would rather stay with a company that has the decency to list proper and accurate pricing, and gives me a refrigerator so I dont need to scramble not to waste half of a 80$ meal.
