My friends and I would always come to this bowling alley as its the easiest location for us, and have been here at least 10 times together. The last few times we noticed that it was taking forever to get service and had to hunt down the employees.Well, We went for a fundraiser on a Friday night and had a horrible experience. First our lane kept turning off and we would have to get assistance. That wasnt too big of a deal to us as we know the machines are old and malfunction. The problem started when the second time we got assistance one of the workers complained that he was going to get real tired of that. The third time it was hard to locate the workers but we let it slide as we assumed they were simply busy, so we ordered food where we noticed almost all the workers were hiding in the back. The fourth time a member of our party had to stand at the service counter for 15 minutes before returning to tell us he couldnt find anyone. Him and myself went to the other side of the bowling alley to attempt to get help from a older woman at the counter. We attempted to explain the situation and she repeatedly cut us off, saying that it wasnt her job and we had to get help from our side, despite us saying we literally couldnt find anyone else. We were hoping that she had some way to contact the other workers to help instead, but she just kept rudely cutting us off. I remembered that a lot of the workers were hiding in the cafe so we returned there and I asked for the manager; who was just standing there talking to another worker. I tried to explain the situation but he ignored me and quickly walked away, passing another worker who he told to help us. We met up with our friends who had spent the last 20 minutes trying to buy a drink from the bar but were unable to locate anyone and returned to our lane. We waited over half an hour and still didnt get any help. Meanwhile, the other fundraiser groups had finished their first game and were almost done with their second ones (we were still on frame 8 of ours). Another couple from our group noticed that the "manager" had returned to the counter and went to speak with him. After waiting 15 or so minutes they returned to tell us that we were finally moved to another lane. That forced us to walk across 3 lanes of bowlers because the table near the lane was already taken by another group. To make it even worse; the group next to us told us that 3 of their bowlers had been moved to that very same lane before we had. The other group gave up, finished their games, and left the new lane to us. At this point we had been waiting around 2 hours for an order of fries and mozzarella sticks, so I went to the cafe and demanded I be given my food. They tried to tell me that they had went to our table and that they didnt see anyone, so they just returned the food. We had been watching the area the entire time while waiting for our food, so we knew that was a lie. There were also other people complaining about their food as well. We finished up our second game and left; around some 4 hours later, and not before deciding we wont be returning to that alley ever. Well take the longer drive and give our business to a bowling alley that doesnt treat its customers like theyre bothersome.

We had my sons birthday party there and it was a very bad experience. First of all when we arrived all the lights were off and the party room was "set up" with a few small paper plates and some plastic forks. We found the person who was in charge and he directed over to our lanes. We were not given any instructions. I finally asked about the music and he said to put money in the jukebox. (Why should we pay for music?). I knew it was downhill from there. I had to order pitchers of soda for my guests. The man in charge never offered to get us drinks or anything. The bowling was fun - kids had a good time. Then we moved into the party room to eat the pizza and cut the cake. We had TINY plates for the pizza - I had to hunt someone down for larger plates. By the time the plates came everyone had basically finished their pizza. The man never came in the room once to ask if things were going ok or if we needed anything else. I strongly feel that they should not advertise that they host childrens parties because there was NO HOSTING going on at all!!!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone!!! Also the place is filthy. We attended a party at a bowling alley in Novi last year and it was so much better than this venue.

Very good food, good prices, good food workers. Horrible up-front staff. A very pregnant woman came in with a decent sized party and were minding their own business not bothering anyone else. Their game malfunctioned and having her party off somewhere else she was calling for the attendant; beginning to walk over. I ran up told him about it and he said to me, "well maybe they can get off their ass and come ask me." I was appalled. As for myself upon entering I entered with a total party of three. We each had a coupon for a free game each. He very rudely took our coupons and continued our transaction. The female attendant with him was nice enough. But the male attendant was plain rude, he had one of those why are even you talking to me type additudes. Other than the one attendant we had terrific service, ordered several times and had very yummy food for very good prices. Also when I called to reserve a lane (on a Sunday night for 5-6pm) they told me they wouldnt reserve a lane and to just come in? We arrived at about 5pm and the whole place was packed by 5:30. So I dont understand the reasoning, but it is what it is.

Sad Friday night. Decided to go out for a fun night of cosmic bowling and was very disappointed. There were a few groups of people also out to enjoy a night of bowling but unfortunately Cherry Hill Lanes was sadly understaffed. There was one employee working the register, the shoe rental and the bar, a little lady who was really hustling but struggled to keep up. There was no music playing and they never turned on the neon lights, very disappointing and certainly not worth $14.50, I can say that I will not go back to Cherry Hill Lanes. Add to that, when I called the following morning the manager who stated that he was the little old ladys son honestly did not care and was not at all concerned, he said that they had a jukebox we couldve played our own music and that his mom never called him for help.

Our group came in for open bowling on a Friday night. We hung around the counter for ten minutes waiting to be helped, along with a few others. There was no one available to help us. Cops were on the scene handling some conflict between patrons, so the employee may have been tied up with that. Either way, this place has too much drama for my blood. We left and went to another alley.
