Decent theater. I go to the movies here often only because its the closest to home. Most of the time the theaters are clean, some times NOT. One thing Ive noticed is that on the weekdays they only have one person at the movie ticket both. Its never that slow for only one person to be there. I think there should be at least 2. The line backs up and you end up being late. (I should leave earlier though) One thing that I do not like is that I buy my tickets online (..and Ive used iOS and Android) through fandango so when I get to the ticket booth they cant scan the barcode to give me the tickets. I always have to relay the confirmation number. Furthermore the ticket machine doesnt allow me to redeem my tickets as I have to use the purchasing credit card and thats a problem because I use PayPal to purchase. Other movie theaters the bar code works or I can at least go to the machine and enter in the confirmation number and get the tickets. The staff is pretty good. They all interact with the patrons and are very friendly. Food is expensive, extremely expensive but its to be expensive because every movie theaters food is $$$. All in all the movie theater is alright and very convenient for me.

I took my grandson to see Home, we arrived early in order to get our treats and stood in line for popcorn than hot food. Once we got our food we stood outside the actual theater in line for about 40 minutes hot food burning through the packaging, popcorn spilling and drinks turning to water, waiting for the theater to be cleaned and it was a wild state of affairs for those of us waiting patiently, children were everywhere running around people arriving to the show late did not want to wait in line so when the doors finally opened they rushed the door with their children almost getting into fist fights! I was extremely disappointed. Where was management and why isnt someone making sure that people transition in smoothly and respectfully and that there are all hands on deck when you have sell out crowds.

On Sept 9, 2017 at 830pm, I had the most frustrating movie experience EVER at the Magic Johnson theater. Apparently the ooening of "It" caught the staff off guard. The lobby was filled and the were teenagers sneaking in. It appeared parents alliwed their 10-17 yr old kids to come to the movie alone. While watching Birth of a Dragon, kids who were not allowed in the see "It" came into the movie I was in and continuously yelled and ran around the theater. These kids had no clue of how to behave in public and when I left to get the management, one of them threw something at my date. Attn Magic Johnson Theater Mgmt...you will never get a dime of my money. Your theater is a MESS. Im ashamed its in my county. Its a hoodlum and teenage hangout.

Horrid; an absolute nightmare. Ive gone here for years now, and I actually convinced myself to keep going because of the convenience and prices. But the screens have "lines" all over them (no clear picture quality in any of the auditorium screens), the service is sometimes nonexistent, and when "crowds" come, get ready to have the worst theater experience possible (people screaming, shouting, talking, giggling through the movie -tonight I went to see Split and it was a ZOO; had to walk out ten minutes in)! Ive officially decided never to go back and abuse films at this circus again. AMC Magic Johnson Capital Center 12 is an insult to all theaters everywhere.

Service has declined. AMC sells Premiere Memberships to give you special access but it seems that the employees have no concept of how the system works. This happens in both the ticket line and the concessions line. Both have signs indicating Premiere but the employees pay no attention to them. Also, the person working the concessions in the back had on gloves but cleanliness was not a priority. As he rans all over the theater looking in cabinets and drawers looking for eating utensils, he still had on the gloves and then he went back to working in the kitchen. He never changed the gloves. Nasty.

My wife and I go to the movies frequently and the MJ AMC is one of our favorites. They have recently added self-serve soda machines at each end of the refreshment bar which make getting refills a snap. Kudos to the management for their forward-thinking customer service. HOWEVER, the mix of soda and carbonated water is a little too heavy on the carbonated water side which makes chasing the popcorn with Diet Coke considerably less satisfying and enjoyable. MJ AMC, if youre listening, please adjust the mix of your soda machines. Give us back our sweet, syrupy Diet Coke. Seriously!

I was harassed after a 3d movie by an employee to turn in my 3d glasses after i said i wanted to keep them for my child. They tried to tell me that the glasses are not included in the price of my movie and called security over to intimidate me to hand the glasses over. After i spoke to a manager he told me the same thing and thought i was dumb enough to believe that my 3d glasses were not included in the movie ticket price and had to be turned in.He refused to give me a phone number for customer complaints and said they didnt have one.I will NEVER spend another dollar here again.

I like the idea of a neighborhood theater but much improvement is needed before I make this my movie theater of choice. I often travel 30 minutes away because the line to purchase tickets at Magic Johnson is incredibly slow, the machines to buy tickets are frequently broken, the bathrooms are not kept fresh & clean, and getting popcorn adds 15 minutes to the wait time. And keep in mind that as a senior citizen I am going during the day time when the theater goers are few...I cant imagine what it is like during peak business hours.

THE WORSE EVER !!! I am also emaling the corprate office about this trifling place. The theater was so dirty !!! It looked like there was a huge food fight in the previous showing and no one cleaned up after. I wish I could post the pics that I have. It was awful !! I will never spend another dime there. I went once before when they first opened. My car was broken into , radio and personal belongings were all stolen . They also threw my sons car seat across the parking lot !!! 6 years later still some crap !!

This place is horrible!!! Its was super dirty the drink machine area was sticky and nasty. There was no one standing at the concessions area so we had to wait for someone to show up. The customer service was extremely unprofessional. I am not your sister, cousin, or friend so please speak to me in a professional manner. Ex. How may I help you maam. NOT Yeah.... what you want? Even though it wasnt in a disrespectful tone its just unprofessional. I will not be returning to this establishment!!!

There was NO POPCORN!!!!! At the 4:00pm show, on a Thursday evening, who ever heard of NO POPCORN at the movies????? Shame on the management!!!####!!!! They should be ashamed to offer excuses - "The machine is broken " They should have rented a popcorn making machine, this is 2017!!!!!! All that money, $ 16.00 for 2 tickets! I want my money back but I know that wont happen. I see why thereer loosing money. Treat customers bad, no respect, people go to see a movie AND eat popcorn!!!!!!!
