My husband booked the Eclipse Tour boatride as soon as he saw an ad for it last December. Good moves, because it sold out by late March. I had the pleasure of meeting the final ticketholder as she charged her phone and kindly my hubbys phone in the Marina laundry area while we waited to board this morning. The Internet had told her there was only 1 ticket left and she needed 2, as it was her anniversary present to her husband! So she called directly and the CSA on the phone made it happen and sold her 2, and our tour was full. Our group on the boat was so fun and into it, our Captain Bobby had trivia for us with prizes and was a wealth of knowledge on the tour, but was mouth-agape with us at the totality of our eclipse. No one is an expert on that, until now. Our skies were pretty blue and clear in the beginning, but clouded over a bit as we headed out to the Harbor. But we got there and hung out to see the beginning loud and crystal clear, glasses mandatory. Then as it moved towards totality, we had drifting clouds that sometimes obscured our view, making it possible to look with your regular eyes (I think I might have a burn), and then it was darkish and you didnt need the glasses and then you did as the sun returned. It was definitely a trip worth taking. Everyone from everywhere (though abundantly White, but from across the Nation - we met people from Montana and New York and Tennessee and all kinds of other places!) on a boat to experience The Eclipse. We became united as brothers and sisters in this incredible moment. Many became Facebook "friends" and sweared to share pics. It was an amazing, bonding event facilitated by Charleston Harbor Tours, and the crew was 100% onboard the effort! Thanks, guys and gals, for a once-in-a-lifetime experience!

Very fun little tour around the harbor, with an opportunity to view dolphins and birds, as well as learn much about the history of Charleston, various forts, buildings, and about pirates. I enjoyed the information our guide shared and it was a beautiful sunny day. There is food and drinks available for purchase on the boat, a restroom, and a lower section where there is air conditioning if you prefer not to be on the upper deck where there can be a lot of sun. Plastic lawn chairs are not the most comfortable to sit in for an hour and a half, but it works. At $26, it is reasonably priced and an interesting activity, I would recommend it!

We took the harbor tour and loved it. The ride was pleasant and the information provided by the tour guide was interesting. It was February so it was a little chilly on the top deck, but you can go downstairs if you want, where it is enclosed and climate controlled. If it had been a warmer day we definitely would have stayed up top. You get a really good view of the harbor and can even see dolphins playing in the water. The staff was friendly and we really had a nice, relaxing time.

Wonderful experience! We did the tri-combo of the Charleston Harbor Tour, horse-drawn carriage ride, and Boone Hall plantation tour. Such a reasonable price and so easy to do. The information and cadence in Captain Wilsons voice made for an exceptional harbor tour. The horse-drawn tour took us to parts of Charleston we were not familiar with and told of different superstitions and traditions of Charleston. However, Boone Hall (the next day) was incredible and not to be missed.

We did the tri combo of the harbor tour, carriage ride, and Boone Hall plantation tour. Everything is so easy to read online, I called and made a reservation with 3 different payments and everything was very clear and simple. We were able to do our carriage ride first and it was just a short ride to the harbor tour. The tour was very comfortable and informative! My husband was in heaven and we loved the way they interacted with us during the trivia. Perfectly lined out tours.

Their website says "rain or shine" yet they canceled as we were boarding. They couldve given advanced notice since we purchased tickets in advance with a phone number and email. We even tried calling in advance from multiple lines to all numbers listed on their site yet all of them hung up immediately. However, once we managed to actually attend the tour we found it pretty enjoyable. The captain was the best part as he was funny and a great guide all together.

My sister and I just recently had the pleasure of taking the Charleston Art Tour with Martha . It was such an enjoyable two hours. We have been to Charleston many times and this was by far one of our best experiences. Martha was able to introduce us to such exciting artists and gallery owners. Marthas knowledge of Charleston art was quite impressive. We would rate this as an A+ experience.

We did the Happy Hour Tour on a Saturday. It was awesome!!! The staff is super friendly. The captain was knowledgeable and funny! The drinks were good! The tour time was perfect because the heat of the day was wearing off. The captain provide great commentary, history, and interesting facts about the Charleston Harbor and the city in general. I would highly suggest this tour to anyone!

We did the tour 2 1/2 years ago when we visited Charleston for the first time. Returning with our adult children, we did it again because its a great way to see Charleston from the water. The captain provided lots of interesting information as well as a few fun trivia facts. There were many scenic locations to view. Free parking made it even better!

Loved it! Great tour, great crew, very informative, even interactive, which I thought was great. Your not just sitting there listing to someone drone on. Was one of the first things we did when we got to Charleston, and glad we did because we found 4 other places we wanted to visit. Highly recommend this to any, and everyone!

Great way to see the harbor around Charleston. Goes very close to Fort Sumter. You can see some of the battery and it also takes you under the large suspension bridge and next to the USS Yorktown. It does not stop at any of these locations it just goes by then but it was a nice time to get off of our feet. Recommended!

The tour on the Carolina Belle was extremely interesting with the captain pointing out historic places of interest. He also called up my 8-yr-old grandson to steer the boat, which he loved. The staff on the boat were very nice and took great care in helping us on and off the boat. A 5 star experience.

Very good to get a brief overview on the geography and history of Charleston and its surrounding. The regular tour takes about 90 minutes, the captain moderates it on his own and seems to be very knowledgeable. In one of the pictures you can roughly see how the tour takes place.

We went on the Harbor tour with my 83-year-old parents on November 21st ~ all of us had a wonderful time. Wilson was our Captain and tour guide. He did an excellent job. It was 1 1/2 hours of history and also dolphin watching. I would definitely recommend this tour.
