I went here to see captain America civil war with my wife, we were told we cant because the projector wasnt working. Instead of trying to fix the problem the projectionist was in the lobby bsing with the ticketer. Because the only other theatre in the area closes pretty early we opted to see xmen apocalypse, as with every marvel movie we expected to see the end credits sequence with a teaser for a new movie. The staff was in such a rush to leave they turned the projector off before the credits were even over (so we missed the teaser). It wasnt a complete waste of money because we still got to see the movie but Ive never seen such a lack of professionalism from any service based business let alone a movie theater where customer service doesnt even take much effort. Along with the dated theater set up with seemingly no good spot to sit on top of it all, I wouldnt recommend spending your time or money here. If they stop being profitable AMC just might take a look at why its not and update it.

Gripe gripe gripe -- dear gawd. What do you people want? IMAX with stadium seating and 3200 speakers of surround sound? Its Lexington Park, for Petes Sake. This is a nice little movie house, that,,, if you havent noticed, gets just about ALL of the first run films when they come out. Im guessing they are struggling financially, and I sympathize. I have seen more films here in the last year, than ever. Im a little dismayed with all the commercials before the feature, but, again, I understand that this generates revenue and is no worse than the endless commercials endured by those who pay for cable tv. If it ever gets to the point where they break the movie to inject commercials, this will be the point where I start writing negative reviews. Aside from that, I enjoy going to this theater, and wish them continued success.

There are so many people down here in Southern Maryland. If there was a really good theater, it would make so much money in this expanding area. Unfortunately, we have this theater. Everything is substandard. Seats, screens, sound, etc....That would all be ok if the price of a ticket was reflective of the condition of the theater. They are trying to charge nice theater prices for a below average theater. I have heard that there have been proposals for a new theater but the owners of this one are on the city zoning board and keep voting it down. Cant verify it, but it sure seems plausible. For a big movie release, we get a babysitter and travel up to Annapolis to see it. Wed rather pay $100 for sitter, gas, and tickets in Annapolis than go to this one.

First off the Staff at this movie theater are great, Very helpful and polite. The problem is the lack of maintince to keep stuff up and running. A few times I been here they had movie projector problems and a lot of the seats are broken. They really need to upgrade... I say make it a 4 Cinema theater... Cut the wall out between Theaters 1-2 and 5-6 make these Imax or recliner sofa type rooms and keep 2 smaller rooms for smaller movies or movies as they become less popular. Something needs to be done soon. The RC Theater is coming and when it does it will spell disaster for AMC in Lexington Park. It cost $9+ to see a new movie at this run down movie theater and it will only cost $12 to see the same movie at a nice new clean movie theater.

On a Wednesday evening, there was 1 guy doing both jobs of selling tickets and running concessions. It shouldnt take 15 minutes to get into the theater. The prices are obscene. Ticket: $7.64 with military discount. Regular popcorn and regular drink: $14.18. The movie was in theater 6. There are yellow stains on the screen, which was very distracting. (The movie had a lot of snow scenes.) And when my movie had a quiet scene I could hear the sound from the next theater over. I was really looking forward to checking out this theater since it was renovated. True, its not a dump any more. And the reclining seats are very nice. But its not like I get to take the seat home. So Ill stick with Lexington Exchange from now on.

The movie was slated to start at 445. At 450 I had to go tell someone we had a dark theatre. The manager started the movie and once it started and no one was around we realized it was in 3d. As this was not supposed to be I revisited the same manager and he started again in the correct format.Things were OK until we visited the bathroom which was completely filthy. As I said earlier this was at 445 so Im sure these bathrooms hadnt been cleaned in a while! Sad excuse for a AMC location. When leaving this place the manager was sitting by the front door relaxing and visiting with what looked like his significant other and child! This place is a mess!!!!!!

The new theatre looks A LOT better although a little small, but the chairs kinda make up for it. The fact that you can fix your own drinks is cool although not too cost eff. on their part. lolol anyway, unfortunately I wasnt able to see my movie bc there were technical difficulties (we sat for 30 mins waiting, the staff didnt know the movie hadnt started I guess) but we got a readmission tickets so hopefully it goes well next time lol p.s. my brother dragged me to F8 but I love Charlize Theron so I was w/ it p.p.s. for the ladies (there r no sanitary napkins trashcans in any of the stalls)

I have never seen any of these problems that these people are talking about, havent seen roaches, the staff is friendly and often smiles, no popcorn on the floor other than what youd expect from a bunch of kids grabbing popcorn, etc. Only problem Ive had is that the place is hidden and you half-expect something bad to go down. Worse I ever saw though was a dude and his girl fighting in the parking lot. Its a small town theatre not a bloody full-time cinema. Hell Ive seen the full-time cinemas that look shittier then this place, dont know what you people are talking about.

Great renovations. I had completely stopped using this theater and was riding to Waldorf AMC. Once they renovated, I am back as a regular customer. To everyone complaining - Dirty Bathrooms - I have yet been to any theater consistently that at some point the bathroom is need of cleaning...But its not the norm...Number of people working - This theater drew very small audiences before the renovation, as the audience grows, I am sure more help will be brought on as needed. Employees are always nice and cheerful.

This theater is terrible! The floors are messy and the service is mediocre at best. The only reason it is still in business is because the workers are low pay and it is the only theater in the entire county. This horrible excuse of a movie theater is going to go bankrupt when the new theater is put in across from the wildwood neighborhood entrance is put in. I strongly suggest that if you have the time to drive to a theater in Waldorf or Annapolis. The theaters in DC are probably even better then this one.
