My family and I enjoy this theater. Yes the concession is high but they are high at all theaters. A big reason is because the movie theater pays a large sum (upwards of $10,000 per day) to rent each movie. More often then not the ticket prices do not cover the entire rent so utilities, wages, maintenance, etc are all paid with the money made from concession. So to keep the lights on, the air or heat running, the toilets running and cleaned and pay someone to do it, each concession item has to pay for a share of that cost. If you have the time look up break even analysis. Admittedly we live up near pleasant view but if all you want is less expensive concessions check out the wolf theater in Greensburg. We go there on occasion as with their kids meal (popcorn meal) you get to pick any candy in the candy case. My kids really love that option and there kids meals are $5 the same as other places.

When you walk into this theater it is clean and you are cheerfully greeted. The entire staff is friendly and accomodating and some even have jokes! In my opinion the concessions arent priced disproportionately. They seem to be on par with any other theater, plus they have a good kids combo and the "unbeatable deal". The same goes for ticket prices. The actual theaters themselves are always clean and well maintained. The seats are comfortable with double armrests, so you can have a seat, loveseat or sofa - up to you. The video and sound quality are good and the theater is never overcrowded. All in all its a comfortable experience and this has quickly become one of my favorite theaters. The positives in themselves are great, but the fact is they are consistent in their service, standards and attitudes.

The place is usually pretty clean. The sound however, is TERRIBLE!!! My surround sound at home is ten times as loud. The last couple of times we have been here the sound was so low that you could barely hear it, and there was only three of us in the entire theater. Also, the concessions is pretty decent, and not to badly priced. However, if you want to get a refill on your popcorn, I wouldnt suggest going to any showings after 7pm, as they shut down the concession stand around 8:30pm or so; especially during the week. If you can find an employee, they will refill your drink, but forget about getting your popcorn refilled! So much for the "deal" of getting a free refill. I will also add that this movie theater tends to let underage kids into rated R movies without parental consent.

My wife and I almost never go to the movies but tonight it sounded quiet fun. After we paid for our ticket and bought some popcorn about halfway through the movie we wanted a refill on our sodas only to find out that the snack bar was closed. That didnt really bother us. After the movie was over our son was suppose to pick us up, we were waiting in the area right where you walk in through the doors because it was chilly out. One of the employes approaches us and says "Were closing youre going to have to stand out side" he then locked the doors. Making us stand out in the freezing cold waiting for our ride. In my opinion that was very rude regardless of them closing. Will not be back!

The volume is too low. THE MOVIES ARE IN-AUDIBLE.You can barely hear the movies. The screens are very small and the seats are uncomfortable. On top of that they charge $7.75 for a movie. Thats even more expensive than AMC in Castleton which has huge screens and comfortable seats. Not only that better theaters in Indianapolis have movies which you can get in for $5 up until 5pm Mondays-Thursdays. Bad quality Studio 10 Cinema does not even lower the price to $6. Someone else should open up a theater in Shelbyville and drive these people out of business.

I have had really bad experiences with movie theaters and Im always paranoid about coming out with something I didnt go in with (Its happened(twice, not here) and why I dont like movie theaters). Anyhow, we had lost one of our kittens and everyone was sad so we decided to try it out to see the Spiderman Homecoming movie and they made sure to go in and clean before we could go in (we were early) and when we left they were very friendly asking us to come back. Also happy to report we left and didnt have any surprises when walking out

Turn the lights off during a movie you expect people to pay $9 a person to watch. If I wanted to watch a movie with the lights on I would have stayed home. Of there is some reason for leaving the lights on I would love to hear it, because when I ask tonight to your employee only said because.

Visiting from out of state. Saw Kong in 3D. Picture was so bad due to house lights, dirty glass on projector window and weak projector. Asked them to turn off the house lights but they claimed fire code. Lights cast a shadow and screen did not. Picture was faded like an old 8 mm home movie.

Good theater, always clean. ♿ This theater offers closed caption and descriptive devices for the hearing and visual impared. Wheelchair seating is available in all the screening rooms, and ablebodies have to give up the wheelchair seating upon request if somone needs it.

For a local small town theatre its great. I mean what do you expect. The concessions are lower, the admission price is lower, your not fighting huge crowds, friendly staff... we go there all the time and have no complaints yet.

Cheap, both in terms of price and in what you get for that money. The place clearly shows its age and the sound system leaves quite a bit to be desired, but its the least costly place around to see a first-run movie.

Prices are high. Movie times were different than posted and the manager wouldnt do any thing to compensate for the mix up. I understand its not their site "flixter" but good customer service goes a long way.
