My husband and I took lessons as a part of the Get Golf Ready program with Brandon and it was an absolutely great experience! Brandon is an excellent teacher who knows how to explain things in such a way that you retain what he instructs and are successful in implementing his instruction. You learn very well how to do what he is teaching, how to not do it improperly, and the reasons why what he teaches works. He teaches proper form and technique, and uses many tools, drills and creative demonstrations that help you to develop your skills. He combines the verbal explanations with visual aids to facilitate learning. He has the utmost patience. He also knows how to make taking lessons fun and without much stress. We had previously participated in this program at a different golf course and find the lessons with Brandon to far exceed what we previously experienced. This was our second year taking the lessons from Brandon, and we have both had significant improvements in our golf game since last year. We have already seen further improvements this golf year. Prince was an assistant to Brandon during the lessons, and he was also very helpful. We look forward to returning for further instructions from Brandon and Prince to continue developing and fine tuning our game.

Great round of golf, and great value for the price! Read the reviews and decided to try it out. Staff was super nice. The starters and rangers kept everything running on time and we played in 4 hours and 10 minutes on a Sunday afternoon! They have signs posted explaining the fairway and sand trap improvements they are working on. Despite the work, the course is in really good shape. The greens were smooth and putted well. There was water in 2 traps, but Chicago had 4-6 inches of rain up north this week. Ill be back again soon.

One of the worst golfing experiences Ive had in the West suburbs. Booked a tee time for 3:30 on a Sunday - we didnt finish the front 9 until 6:45. Starter allowed a 5-some to tee off at 3:25 ahead of us. There are no rangers to maintain pace of play. Course was in awful shape. Fairways and greens were essentially bare ground. Rough was extremely overgrown and required pick/place to prevent injury. Would recommend any of the many other courses in the area over VGoW.

I used to love this course, especially if you can grab a weekend special. The common experience here now is starters who are totally rude and freak out if youre whole group isnt ready to tee off 15 mins early, poor course conditions, slow play, and a club house that is almost always off limits because of some sort of baby shower or bridal shower, etc. Not sure what happened to this place but Ill be playing elsewhere from now on.

Great course in Woodridge. The course is going through some renovations and the changes I have seen have been good. For example they added more traps by the 17th and on the 18th green. Great course to walk. They do have a great $9 for 9 holes deal that has been going on for a few years. Only con: which I have heard they will fix is the parking lot. Who puts a parking lot in the middle of a course??

The cashiers and starters we real nice and friendly, I showed up late to my tee time and they fit us right in without complaint. The greens and tees werent in great condition, I expected more for a $50 course, worth $30-35 at the most. I probably wouldve appreciated the course much more if I was a local and got a discount, but not worth the trip form downtown.

The course is usually in a rough condition. The pace of play is almost always too slow for some reason. The layout of the course is really nice, and I think it provides a moderate challenge. This is a good course to play if its nearby and you want to play a casual game of golf at a leisurely pace instead of driving far for some much better courses.

Course is in terrible shape. Fairways are weedy, bumpy, missing grass. I think all they do is mow it. I dont think there is a grounds keeper responsible for trying tokeep course in decent condition. Will not go back.

Village Greens is always in good shape and they are always priced lower than the other courses I play. They do a little every year to improve the course (they renovated a few bunkers in 2013) and the staff is awesome.
