We go quite often, we love the staff as they are all informed and quite pleasant!! We enjoy the variety of movies and the prices. We generally dont visit the concession stand d/t cost but definitely enjoy the goods when we do. As for the high concession prices when you understand that all box office $(ticket cost) goes to the movie co.. The theatre actually only makes $ from the concession sales, thats unfortunate and sad. But we give them 10 stars for keeping the doors open and allowing us folks on tight budgets have a good time!! It is a public theatre and not all people are clean and courteous but the staff clean after each show and weve never had a bad experience there!! ENJOY it, Love it and just be Thankful we have it! Sex perverts welcome! Keep a close eye on your kids if you go there: I worked there in high school (graduated 2001) and some pervert would always come in and masturbate in the mens handicapped stall while mumbling to himself; EVERYONE THERE KNEW IT. I asked one of the kids working there last time I went in if "High Mike" (as he is known) still came in: the kid smiled and said, " Hes using the restroom right now." SO MANAGEMENT HAS KNOWN FOR A MINIMUM OF 17 YEARS THAT A PERVERT JACKS OFF IN THEIR THEATRE, BUT DOES NOTHING TO STOP IT. By the way, AMC, its not libel if its true. If you dont believe me, ask whoevers working the ticket booth if they have seen High Mike lately, and observe the response.

The food prices are WAY TO HIGH!! Movie entry prices are spot on but the cost of food is ridiculous! Maybe the management can bring in pizza and other big ticket food items so the cost can be equaled per price of admission, instead of a huge dollar amount over the reduced ticket prices, per food cost on big ticket items. (Pizza,Burgers,French Fries, Ice Cream treats,) and such food that most people will spend a bit more money on at the movie theatre when out for a night out by them self or the family.

The staff is great at this theater, I do wish they would get some of the better movies faster. Their prices for a movie are in line with other theaters. As far as concessions I know they are high priced. What I dont think people understand is, most theaters make their money from the concession not from the movie itself . I dont know this for sure but that is what I have heard from " people in the know " . All around its a great place to see a movie ...

Not from danville but the service was quick fast and easy. Prices are extremely expensive but the young lady Akeiya who took care of me . Helped me save money and serve me fast and easy staff is extremely nice theatere is clean and nice for a small town like danville ! Thank you AMC for making my thanksgiving weekend complete. I Highly recommend going here!

They still call this a mall. Where are the stores. Its almost empty. I have never seen a mall this empty. The problem has to be management or something. If it was the economy it wouldnt be as empty. I talked to a few people and they said they keep raising the rent, That I think is a very good reason for the emptiness. Well I hope it gets better.

I only rated this so i can say something. Prices are way to expensive for snacks for dang snacks & tues theres only 7 pm showings. Cmon man. No one is barely gonna show up at a damn 730 something showing. Thats crap cause i cant Mon cause i got other things to do & i only have Mon & Tues off

Best cinema for the price in the area. And they have the greatest popcorn known to man. Its honestly worth just getting the popcorn and not even seeing a movie. If youre there to watch a film and enjoy it without the flash of luxury seating, youre in the right place.

There are hardly any stores anymore, no food, & the movie theater ceiling has a lot of water damage & mold. Lower the rent & add good food & fix the ceiling so no one gets sick. Security is needed more on weekends, especially by movie theater.

I would post 5 stars but the concession stand is WAY TOO EXPENSIVE!!! If my finace and I take the two boys to the movies its almost $100. We would go every week if it wasnt so expensive

theater is over 42 years old at this mall..time to upgrade amc..amc should leave the mall and build a new facility that rocks like the carmike berverly theater in champaign.

Nice place , but cant seem to buy the popcorn and pop for the cost of the movie . Thats too high its a big rip off . But what movie theatre aint ?

If you want to watch a movie in an extremely dirty theater, this is the place. Chairs are filthy, floors are filthy. Staff is very friendly.
