I had my wedding at this hall. The set up was beautiful, but there def could be some changes made for future people to enjoy all theyre money invested. The table for my wedding party was not large enough for all of them to sit so I did not get the ideal pictures I wanted of them all together. The lady that did my flower arrangements and bouquets/corsages/bout. etc, well my flower arrangements were pretty but I was very disappointed to know she never made my toss bouquet, my moms corsage fell apart before the ceremony even started, and all my bouquets/bout. were WRONG!! Saddening to say we shopped for these items together I sent her 3 emails of how each should look and the day of they were completely different and not what I had ordered. I called her and texted her various times when my moms fell apart and she ignored me...HORRIBLE!! Lets not talk about the DJ who had my music for 3 months then all of a sudden the night of the wedding he has none. Thank GOD for my choreographer Micah he was my life saver he took my ceremony music, even when having it the DJ STILL played the wrong song as we were walking out. After our skit turns out the DJ had no more of my music. We payed so much money for this and I def dont recommend this place to anyone who wants things to go right. I payed for all the food after 9 pm they told me it wasnt mine anymore, on my wedding day having to dispute that I payed hundreds of dollars for it, def was uncalled for. I even told the owner she didnt respond to any of this because she already got my money and she was done with me! If I wouldnt have paid my thousands of dollars I would have gotten a refund the day I caught her talking behind my back!

When my sister passed away earlier this year, we found ourselves having to put together a gathering in her honor. We were in need of a location that would allow us to accommodate all of our needs including the ability to serve food and drinks to the many friends and family that wanted to attend and pay their respects. We had a week to put this together while still working on the other logistics associated with my sisters passing. Ruben Longoria and his staff went literally above and beyond to make this process very easy for us. Whether it was deciding on and purchasing the food, beverages, flatware, and even arranging for a required security guard, they were there to help. Everyone was so friendly and courteous to work with. This lifted a heavy burden off our familys shoulders. When the day of the event came we could not believe how beautiful the hall looked. It was a perfect representation of everything my sister loved. The event went off wonderfully and served as a beautiful celebration of her life. The La Gala Banquet Hall was the perfect venue and my entire family are deeply thankful to Ruben and his staff for their commitment to making the event as special as it was. They clearly have a passion and commitment for what they do and I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to plan a special event in the future.

Wanted to leave a review so I had to give it one star, if I had a choice I would have given it negative stars.This place SUCKS!!! Do not recommend this place to anyone. First of all had dinner set for a certain time and then after that time was up all the food and ice that we purchased had been taken away and locked up by the owner. If they were hungry we would have feed them instead they lock it up so they could have something to eat for the week. Then we asked if we could have some of the ice that we purchased separatly from the price of the hall and we were told no. This is a hall that is about sticking it to you after you pay for the hall they want to make more money off of you. They even charge you for a single cup($1) that you could purchase at the dollar store(12 ea= $1). Please..Please beware if you plan on having your event here!! Read the contract twice maybe three times and confirm what you can and cannot do they will change at last minute notice.

Well if youre wanting something quick to have a quince, birthday, or shower this may be the spot for you. But for more elegant affairs, not my choice. Their slogan says they take pride in their establishment and their clients simce the 90s. But the staff is unorganized at times, the owner Lala is rude and doesnt have customer service when dealing with people, the venue could use some remodeling on the interior (i.e. stage, drapes (stained, satin, and brown), murals on the walls-not sure what they are, bar area, and restrooms). And the location sits on a busy street so photos outside of the venue would not work. I deal with venues often and this would have to be my least favorite.
