NOT WORTH 1st CHOICE OUT!!! My cousins are visiting from out of town. We went to Pin Chasers for saturday night cyberbowling but got there at 10 and there was to long of a wait. But they were stuck on bowling so hince our arrival at Tampa Lanes. First off it was a saturday night and the parking lot was empty. When we went to the pro desk. To get our lane. To find out its CASH ONLY. Luclkily they do have an atm. So ask about specials. There was one for 3 games shoes and 14 tokens for $12 regular is $10 for 3 games and shoes. So i say 4 specials. The guy rings me up. And for just the regular. So i said i want the tokens. He said that he would have to split our group up. 2 on one lane @. Only difference was the tokens. So i was confused. He said there isnt enough time to play 3 games before they close unless we split. So i asked him well give us the tokens we will play the games and if we run out of time we will just comeback another day for the arcade. He refused to sell it to me that way. The tokens say right on them Tampa Lanes so i cant use them anywhere else. And say i never came back 14 tokens dont cost $2 so you know they wont lose money there. You would think solid upsell right. I would encourage my employees to sell it that way if the customer wants it. But he actually refused and was very unprofesional and pushy about it. So the only way he was going to let us play was the regular package so. For lack of alternate choices and time we stayed. Now bowling. I had my 15 yo daughter and my cousin is 21 yo female as well. Our lane was 34 right in front of desk. Which not to shortlly after we started did several male employees all show up or sit close and watch us. Like creeper watch us. Made them feel really unconfortable. I even would stand to break the line of site when one of the girls would bowl and even blatenly look them in the eye to try and let them know hey you checked them out now move on. But no they didnt. They would glance away and then right back. Thinking they were getting away with something. So at this point we were ready to leave just say screw it and walk in the middle of our games. But i didnt i asked eeveryone. Ok review time. Lets take pictures and take as much detail as we can. So its game on. The stares never stopped. So we played the machine kept breaking as well and a guy had to pull up floor boards and fish out balls. That happened 4 times. Then machine started reading 2 points on everyframe even if you threw it in the gutter. And they had to switch us lanes and even the new lane did same thing. So even with 40 mins of repairs and 3 games and moving lanes we still finished our games with an hour for the arcade. So when returning the shoes i made the comment see we have plenty of time for tokens to play video games. Baiting him to see if he would offer up the token special for the 2 additional dollars per person. Nothing no response or apology anything. So i even bought 2 dollars in front of him at the token machine. Still nothing clicked. I was trying to give him the benifet of the dought and give hime every opertunity to d0 the right thing and he didnt. Make sure you use the bathroom before you go. They were not clean at all check the pictures i have posted. Now its not completelly horrible you do see i gave it 2 stars and that is only because the majority of archade games are just a token. 25 cents. That alone will be the only reason i even decide to revisit the facility unless i get some communication from an owner or manager. So lets see what surprises may come. I will say a little more about the archade. It has a lot of games from back in the day during my high school days. And i really was impressed with it. So 4 stars for the arcade.

Heres the catch; Tampa Lanes is more arcade and less bowling alley. If you want to go and experience a time capsule-like journey back to the smoking-allowed late 80s/early 90s, this place is mecca. Seriously. If you want a night of fun and nostalgia, stop in. If youre a yuppie-go-lucky, one who expects pristine tidiness and an inaccurate and unrealistic standard of a bowling alley thats been operating for decades, then go to the "family-friendly" Pinchasers. With titles like an ORIGINAL Street Fighter II, Guilty Gear X, Crazy Taxi, House of the Dead 2 AND 3, Time Crisis 3, and a plethora of racing games, youd be insane to not have a great time. #Hashtagnobodyreadingthisusestwitter<3

This place sucks. They allow smoking so it smells like an ashtray. The arcade is kinda cool most games are either broken or only 25 cents (1 token). The 2 big guys that work the counter and creepy as hell and have about as much personality as a wet dish rag. They are very inappropriate. They were staring at my female cousin everytime she went to throw the ball. They look like chester malesters. They followed us everywhere we went and made us uncomfortable. The lanes are broken alot and honestly suck. They had dirty bars of soap to wash your hands with in the bathroom and the bathroom is really gross. I will probably never go again. I would recommend pin chasers for bowling instead.

when you walk in you would think its just your normal bowling alley. But you walk down the isle a little more and see that there is also a bar, and a game room, and another game room and another game room. Tampa lanes isnt all about bowling. Its also about arcade games. The people here are all very nice. and if you smoke you can smoke inside.The workers are very resourceful. when a game stops working or when a game is acting up all you do is go get the manager and bam, your back to square one. Welp i suggest going here because i go there everyday, to play my midnight maximum tune 2. its my favorite game.

The smokey atmosphere, terrible bumpy lanes, broken computers that have the wrong pin count about a quarter of the time, pins that randomly just fall when set or not appear at all, and cash only which is just inconvenient. I could and have for many years accepted all of the above. But rude passive aggressive employees is completely uncalled for in any circumstance. We were terrible bowlers but last I checked thats ok. No reason to speak in a degrading tone or creepishly stand over us while we bowl. Were not that entertaining. Without a doubt they have permanently lost my business.

WOW I WENT THERE LAST NITE WITH MY HUSBAND AND A COUPLE PEOPLE FROM WORK THE COMPANY WAS AWESOME BUT THE TAMPA LANES IAM REALLY SURPRISED THEY R STILL OPEN VERY OUTDATED STUFF N ONLY CASH ONLY . WE WONT BE GOING BACK THERE AGAIN AND THE LANES 23/24 WERE ALWAYS MESSING UP SO U HAD TO PUSH THE button. WOW WAS NOT EMPRESS WITH TAMPA LANES ON DALEMABRY HWY. DONT GO. ITS TERRIBLE BETTER TO GO TO THE ONE ON 56TH STREET AND FOWLER AVE. OH YEA THEIR AIR WENT OUT NO AIR CONDITIONING IT WAS HOT IN THERE THEY FANS NOT ENOUGH.IT WAS HELL
