Nancy Freeman – 5 star We are overwhelmed with gratitude to Ryan Hill, Lisa Seidensticker and the staff at both The Francis and Libby’s Cafe for the outstanding job they did catering both our daughter’s wedding at Selby Gardens and the rehearsal dinner at Libby’s Cafe. From the moment we made contact with Ryan with our initial inquiry to the end of the wedding evening, we experienced personalized, professional and exceptional service. Ryan worked with us to customize the menu to our taste and the food was both delicious and presented beautifully. We had several guests tell us that the food was the “best wedding food EVER”. Ryan and Lisa also worked with us to help design and execute our reception, meeting with us several times in advance, offering valuable advice and in the end creating a magical setting using beautiful lighting and table settings. We were all absolutely thrilled. Five stars to Ryan and his crew!!

Very disappointed... Stay away!! We had a signed contract with the co-owner, Lisa Seidensticker, for a class reunion in July. One month after the contract was signed (after printed invitations went out), Lisa says that they erroneously "double booked" and would no longer be able to accommodate us. Apparently our party was less profitable than a wedding, so we got kicked to the curb. She offered to let us have our reunion in the outdoor area (in the middle of July!!, no thanks) or the bar (no DJ allowed since it would disturb the wedding, no thanks!). She was apologetic, but did nothing to explain her error and offered nothing to compensate for my troubles and huge inconvenience. Had to scramble to find a new venue, at great inconvenience. I cannot recommend anyone take chances with this venue, based on my experience with them and the lack of professionalism.
