Just had my wedding here and paid a lot of money to have a perfect day. It started out well with the cermony here but, once we got into the banquet hall room it just went down hill. First started with 2 servers for about 150 people so, no one got food on time and which made it better was the food was ice cold. Actually the worst part was more then 7 of my guest found dead flys or pieces of hair in there food. It was brought up to the owner which in return kept the bar open a extra hour but, then they started to run out of our beer. At one point we did a recieving line to greet our guests and about 5 minutes into that one of there coordinators rudely interjected and told my wife she had to give up the bridal suite to another party going on even though we booked this almost a year and half ago, which we were promised the suite for the night. Dont worry this gets better once it was time for my first dance with my wife on the dance floor where the head table was and still the staff was no where to be found!!! We had to delay our dance for 10 minutes and our guests just ended up moving the tables to clear it. My overall perception of Carriage Greens is looks nice on the outside but, garbage service on the inside.

This review is for the restaurant in the country club. We frequently watch the game at their Black Hawks themed sunken bar as well. We really enjoy that the bar always has good seating with plenty of screens to watch the games and the food there is good. But we went for dinner at their restaurant last week and I have to say I was blown away at the service and quality of food. Literally EVERYTHING was delicious! The crab-cakes were literally the best I have ever had anywhere. The Chicken marsala was excellent (the sauce was amazing and the chicken was very juicy and tender). The other entrees ordered were BBQ ribs, Porkchops Italiano, and a New York strip steak. All were fantastic! The double baked potatoes were also perfect. The ambiance in there is also warm and welcoming. What also really stood out to me (and what makes an experience complete in my opinion) was the service given to us by Nancy and John! Their attentiveness and pleasant demeanor made our dinner wonderful. My sister and brother in law eat there often and say that they often get a waitress by the name of Anna that the rave about as well! They say she is always great! I will definitely be eating here regularly.

Played here because it was close and cheap. The course was okay. Could have used a lawn mower that picks up grass clippings instead of leaving piles of grass on the fairways. Need more rakes around the sand and towels on ball washers. The greens had been aerated earlier, but the ball still rolled true. Ninety degree rule was in effect but the foursome in front of me could care less. Saw them driving down par threes when there were signs stating cart path only. They were also driving on the greens. No ranger out to enforce the rules, but it was a cold, wet Monday. Other than that, I had one of my best rounds and lost only one ball, only to find it later on a different hole. Needless to say I will be back, especially at $20 or cheaper to play 18 with a cart during the week.

Though the people working in the event office were very helpful and friendly, the owner treated me very poorly. Though I was canceling an event well in advance, 290 days to be specific...he was unwilling to give any down payment monies back and was extremely inflexible considering our circumstances that could not be helped. I traveled all the way from Indiana to ask him for his flexibility and willingness to help out our situation and all for nothing. Stiff, rude, and unpleasant interaction. Do not plan your event here, at least that is my honest opinion.

HAD THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I went to play a round of golf today and was told I could not play the back 9 because of league. I went into the pro shop to find an old man with gray hair and glasses become furious with the fact that I wanted a raincheck for the back 9. He was swearing and claimed he was the "manger". I was calmly speaking to him, while watching this old fool yell at me over something so simple. I will never go back....and I am only writing this review because NO ONE should have to deal with this kind of behavior.

Course was in bad condition and the staff was less than welcoming. Thought it might be worth it because the greens fees werent too bad, but was wrong. Wouldnt let the rest of my group play because theres a new dress code where collared shirts are required. The just isnt in good enough shape to enforce such a rule. Seeing as its a newer rule you may think they would cut us a break but no, just waved us on out. Youre better off going to a park district course

We had our daughters wedding at Carriage Greens Golf Club March 28,2014--- it was beautiful! We were very happy with the supportive Staff who assisted in planning the reception, and with the facility. It was a wonderful evening! The staff were very polite and very helpful. The food was delicious and we had many compliments from guests. I would highly recommend this venue!

Nice setting, bad food pretty much sums it up. Service was slow and indifferent. The food was not well seasoned. I ordered a grilled salmon caesar salad, but the salmon was not fresh and appeared to have been treated with paprika to improve the color, which did nothing for the taste. We had a large group, and no one was happy with the food.

Customer Service is HORRID. Older gentleman (Jim) is not very welcomimg and speaks to you in a demeaning way - thinks he owns the place. I think he needs to retire and find something else to do. Maybe run the cart at the driving range to retrieve the balls? At least he will be away from dealing with the customers.

Carriage Greens has really enhanced itself. The various venues within the Clubhouse serves many types of patrons, before and after a little golf. Heard the golf course and practice area(s) are being enhanced and renovated this spring. Can not wait for the weather to improve (fair weather golfer).

I felt that this course could use a lot of work. The clubhouse was a little dumpy but it was only $10 for me to play. I felt like there was barely enough space to make this golf course. The greens were in bad shape along with the bunkers. The fairways were also similar to a first cut.

We had our wedding there and our banquet manager was very helpful. Our only issue is that the food that we ordered for our wedding wasnt the food that we ordered and we tried to communicate with the owner and we never really were able to figure out exactly what happened.

this course is horrible and the customer service is awful. They offered a groupon and they book every weekend with corporate outings. Do not play this course. it is a dog track, $25 is the only reason i would consider playing it. Do not waste your time or money.
