We paid for a private tour for our family of 4. When we got to the dock to check in the man in the booth was very stand offish and only wanted to take our money, but otherwise seemed put off by any questions we had. The boat captain arrived back with the tour in front of us & ignored us sitting on the dock as he cleaned the boat from previous tour until past when our tour was supposed to start. Once he was done cleaning he motioned for us to get on & grunted out the instructions of where to store things in the dry box. He told us he could try to take us to see dolphins but it has been hard lately (exact opposite of what the energetic girl told us when booking on the phone) and snorkeling to look for shells or to look at a shipwreck. My husband explained we were more interested in the snorkeling, especially the ship wreck. The boat captain took us to a sandy island first where we saw 2 fish the whole time. He sat in his chair playing on the phone. We asked if we could go some where else. He ignored for a while and finally took us to the shipwreck after about 30 min, but very clearly was put off by moving. We only stayed at the shipwreck for less than 10 minutes & hardly had time to see anything. We then drove around for a while looking for dolphins with no luck & he drove us back. I understand these are wild animals & it is sometimes luck of the draw, but my dissatisfaction is in the captains attitude as if he wanted to be anywhere but there with us as he played in his phone & ignored us and his giving us so little time to be at the shipwreck when we let him know upfront we were most interested in that - the whole reason we paid for the private tour was so we could work with the captain to make it the experience our boys wanted and not a group cattle call on a preset tour.

I just wanted to contact you and let you know how absolutely amazing our dolphin tour and snorkeling experience was. Captain Dane was an absolute pro and made this the best experience we have ever had in Panama City Beach. We are yearly visitors to PCB and have previously done a dolphin cruise (with another company) and were very disappointed and I was not quite sure what to expect with this trip. Let me just tell you that this is the best money we have ever spent on any of our trips!!!!! My son is already begging to do this again next year. I cannot rave enough about this trip and I have other friends and family members visiting Panama City within the next 2 months that will be contacting you to book a trip. We had an awesome experience with the dolphins and could not have expected such an amazing time. The beautiful shells that we found snorkeling will be displayed in our home as a reminder of the wonderful time we had! I cannot tell you how sad and pathetic it is that a competitor would actually take the time and effort to try to better themselves by badmouthing your company. Word of mouth speaks volumes and for me to even suggest this tour to my friends and family says alot!!!! We are counting the days until we return next year!!!! I cant speak more highly of our trip with PCB Dolphin tours! After thoroughly researching the numerous dolphins tours in PCB for 2 days, I chose this company because of its great reviews. I knew going in that the conditions in the water werent ideal for visibility because we scheduled it after numerous storms. Wes our captain was great. Sort of a no frills type of guy and very knowledgable of the area. He took the boat to the golf side of shell island where we snorkeled and found numerous large shells. We spotted dolphins on the way there but there were so many of tour boats around them that Wes decided it was best (for the dolphins and us) to let the frenzy die down before we headed over there. After we snorkeled we headed over to the spot where we saw some dolphins and he angled the boat to where we can drop right above them. Although the water visibility was poor, I still was able to see about 5 and they were incredible. We spent some more time swimming above a ship wreck then headed back. Since we were hungry, Wes suggested Finns Island seafood (they also have chicken) which was GREAT! We even saw Wes there :). My only piece of advice when scheduling you tour is try to schedule it after a few days of nice weather. It will allow for optimal visibility. Highly recommended!!

I have to say that this was the most incredible experience myself and my family has ever encountered. To start out the tour we were able to see a large group of dolphins that came right up to the boat then Captain Dane took us to some awesome wrecks that we were able to dive around and see a lot of sea life. We were able to collect sea shells and sand dollars that my girls were so excited to have. We got to see sea urchins and star fish along with several types of fish. I am so ready for this July we have our next tour already booked, the prices are very affordable and you get more than what you pay for. Thank you Panama City Dolphin Tours

Dolphin tour done RIGHT!! We were very pleased with our entire experience and will definitely be calling Captain Dane back every year when we come to PCB! They are very kind and accommodating, the prices were the BEST IN TOWN!! Captain Dane was very fun and informative. The dolphins came right up to our boat several times! I couldnt believe how close they were! Shell Island was beautiful! Thanks to Crystal and Dane for the most amazing experience!

Totally exceeded our expectations. The boat was perfect for our group and we were actually able to get up close to the dolphins! My fiance jumped in the water and swam with the dolphins. It was amazing! We loved stopping at Shell Island and we found beautiful shells! The Captain knew exactly what he was doing and made our trip very pleasurable. I cant wait to go back! Ill be calling them back to do this dolphin tour again!

We booked online and it was supposed to be a 2 hours excursion. Or captain was amazing. Got us swimming with tons of dolphins. He had us out there for almost 3 hours, which was really cool. Both the captain and the deck hand were very interactive (captain jumped in to swim too). We found a lot of cool shells and big sand dollars. I cant speak for the other dolphin tours but I can say...it was well worth every red cent.

This was by far the best experience ever! We went with a couple different places last year and the year before and customer service was terrible let alone experience was even worse! The ladies I spoke with on the phone were was Allyson she was very informative she new exactly what she was talking about, needless to say everything they said we would get to do we DID! and more. Its well worth the 49 dollars per person!
