Family Tradition has very poor customer service. We were in Panama City Beach on vacation and wanted to rent a pontoon for 1/2 a day. The boat was in very poor condition. In lack of our better judgement we went anyway. Two hours later we broke down. After they came to tow the boat, the lady told us we could receive a partial refund that day or come back the next day for a full refund. We chose to come back for a full refund. When returning, she told us we would not be receiving the full refund only partial. We knew she told us different but agreed. She stated that she would refund our credit cards that evening. Three days later we returned explaining the cards had not received refund. She stated that she meant to call us and tell us that she was not going to give a refund at all. She also stated that we led her to believe that we had paid for a full day rental. We had only been out for a couple of hours. We feel that we were treated unfairly when we were told we were getting a refund and received nothing. We also tried to contact the owner himself after 2 weeks of him not returning our calls we decided to write this review.

WARNING- THIS COMPANY TAKES IT UPON THEMSELVES TO ILLEGALLY ADD A GRATUITY FEE TO YOUR CREDIT CARD WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEGDE OR AUTHORIZATION!!!!! I highly discourage anyone against doing any kind of business with this company as they committed fraud against me on my credit card. They felt the need to add an additional charge on my credit card for a "tip for the captain" that was not authorized. They waited for my husband to leave and then made the charges without our knowledge. This company has been reported to VIsa, my financial institution, as well as the Better Business Bureau.

8 of us booked a deep sea fishing trip on the boat "Makin Memories", what a hell of a good time! We enjoyed every moment with Jason, he was awesome!! Caught more fish than expected then was served fresh caught by Jason himself on the way back in, he also cleaned all the fish that we caught and took great care of us all the entire trip. If youre looking to book a trip with some down to earth people and ready to catch a lot of fish and make good memories, then this is the way to go. 100% Satisfied!

Outstanding experience!! Jason was a top shelf customer service rep, fisher getter, hook baiting, fish cleaning machine. We had a group of 10 of us that ranged in experience from first timers up and Jason made us all feel like experts. We caught a bit of everything and rarely dropped a line that did not land a fish. I would highly recommend that if you get a chance that you should book a trip with him. "Makin Memories" is appropriately named boat.

The 5th Generation crew, was absolutely on the money. Captain Clarence and First Mate Jason, And deck mate Lane Treated us like family, and we had a blast. Too bad snapper season wasnt in at the time..... But now we definitely gonna come back when the season is in!!! Thanks for the memories of a lifetime. 81 year old Ms. Grace, had the best birthday present, Thank you Jason and Lane for being there for her!!! See yall in a few weeks

Great experience! We rented a pontoon on multiple days. Everyone was friendly and had great hospitality. Sandy is a great sales person and made us feel very welcome. Easy access to Shell Island- Pontoon boats were clean and well maintained. Fishing Charter Business gets great reviews from all that post- Capt. Leveral Raffield is knowledgeable and was quite helpful.

Excellent fishing trip! Very experienced captain and crew. This was a top notch operation all the way from the captain,crew and boat. The boat is very large and comfortable. The best part was the customer service they truly are there for your enjoyment treating you like family. The boat could not have a better name we were definitely Makin Memories!

The captain was cool but the deck hands were horrible didnt catch their names. Even when you bring your own cooler they still steal your fish and pretend like nothing is going on. Caught 11 fish 3 throwbacks and ended up with 5 fish Im no mathematician but that dont add up. My advice is get a boat for just your group thats my plan next time.

Awesome experience. Leroy knows what hes doing and his staff was super friendly. Left a little later than planned, but came back with enough fish to feed the whole family and have leftovers. They are seasoned pros.
