As an event planner, I can honestly say that this venue was very good to work with. The only reason I dont say excellent is the pre-planning was a little difficult. After signing the contract, there is no one true contact person to go to for questions and you will need to check in on things with the Seville office because they will not usually call you first. The wedding reception itself, however, was FANTASTIC. Cheryl truly went above and beyond to make sure that no one in the bridal party needed to worry about a thing. She packed up all of the gifts at the end of the night, wrapped our extra meals, and would always check in throughout the night to see if there was anything else I might possibly need. I am still hearing compliments from the guests on how beautiful everything was and how wonderful the food was. They think we spent a fortune on the reception. Truth be told, it was less expensive for us to have 250 people at the Seville than it was to have 200 people at a nearby banquet facility. The Sevilles packages are very simple and straightforward and there are really no hidden costs. I would highly recommend the Seville if you are a looking for a great value with even better onsite service.

I cannot say enough positive things about this place! We just had our wedding on 2/24. From the staff to the food to whole day brought together, seriously couldnt of asked for better! The staff is so put together and organized making your big day just how you invision it! I was skeptical based on the outside and the location, but once you walk in and check out the actual wedding rooms set up, you realize that is where your guests will be and have all the fun. I will say there is no where to take outdoor pictures seeing as that its on a busy road, but you could always go elsewhere for that (we just did not have the time for multiple locations). Another thing I was skeptical about was the affordable pricing and all the "extras". We thought there had to be a catch, but honestly there wasnt! We had so many compliments on the whole weddding and especially the food! They also are working with a new bakery in northbrook that is AMAZING. BEST CAKE EVER! Everyone we worked with through the planning all the way to the wedding day were the best. Special thanks to Nicole and Nick for making us feel so comfortable that they had everything under control! Thank you again Seville!

Beautiful venue. Excellent food. Poor staffing. We were at a wedding last night that there was some sort of miscommunication and power struggle between the waitstaff which we were caught in the middle of. All of the other tables were served bread, soup, and headed towards salads, and our table still was waiting for bread. We notified the first server we saw (Sharon) and were told it wasnt her table. We notified the second server we saw (Gail) who stopped a gentleman to ask him why we hadnt been served. He became very heated and loud with her saying it wasnt his table. She informed him he needed to lower his voice and not yell/argue with her. We finally got our bread but the service at our table continued to lag behind. Coffee was served and we were again missed. We flagged down Sharon again who was carrying 2 pots of coffee. She acknowledged us and continued to walk past us. Our server asked if he could have one of the coffee pots she had and was told, "yeah I guess, no one at my tables wants any". Left us with a bad impression with us.

Long review, but please read all of it if you are considering The Seville. This place was great for our wedding reception. Rita (I think she was the coordinator) was absolutely amazing. She made sure our wedding party was taken care of. My bridesmaid asked for a glass of Moscato, and Rita brought an entire bottle. We had so many compliments on the food and overall environment. The reason why we are not giving 5 stars is because of a few of the office staff. They claim that they have cameras overlooking the gift table. However, they do not. We had some money go missing from a wallet left at the head table (right next to the gift table), and when we called to ask for the video footage to figure out what happened, the office staff stalled and told us that they do not have cameras or any footage. Something doesnt add up...

I am overall happy with the ceremony and reception we held at the Seville. The staff was accommodating to my needs and responded promptly to my inquiries. The issues I had were that they didnt call me when we were supposed to do tastings (because I explicitly asked someone to call me so I wouldnt forget it and when I did call them a couple months before, they told me that it is written in the package they gave me that they wont do that). Dont tell me 1 thing, and do the other. Also, at the reception, wait staff kept giving the wrong food to the wrong people and there was mass confusion for half an hour. Otherwise, all positive experience, I would recommend using the seville for most events.

I went to a wedding at The Seville last Saturday, Oct.10th. I have Celiac disease and I have to eat gluten free food because of my condition. They are so organized and professional. My place card had a large G on it so the wait staff knew what to serve me. This was one of the most delicious gluten free meals that I have ever had at a function. Our server,Melissa, was a gem. She served a dessert that had lactose in it. I told her that I am lactose intolerant. She went back to the kitchen and brought me a lactose free dessert. She is a keeper. The room was beautifully decorated and the bar did not hold back on the liquor. I would highly recommend The Seville for any function.

This was our first time at this venue for my nephews wedding. The service was horrible. The staff never refilled our cokes, took for ever to serve the food and their leaders were rude. Management was arguementative when I explained how our culture is and how we would like the food to be serviced. Management kept saying that our guests were being very rude to their staff, which I have never seemed from any of our weddings before. Most venues a member of management walks around asking how everything is, but at this place it was like they didnt care. I would never recommend this venue to anyone.

I got married here November 4th 2016 and I have no complaints, the staff was great the room was beautifully set up and the food was absolutely amazing! We had compliments from all of our guests about how great the food was and how beautiful the venue looked. Sometime wedding food sucks or isnt hot but that was definitely not the case here. We had the sweets table and ice cream sundae bar and everyone loved it! Oh and the late night pizza and the appetizers were fantastic! From start to finish we had a great experience and would recommend them to anyone looking for a hall.

My wedding was perfect!! I had a blast here thanks to family and friends. This venue is very beautiful and the employees here were very nice and helpful. The only reason I didnt give them 5 stars is because my wedding started 30 mins late because they didnt have the chairs set up for the ceremony and also they ran late on the food so our dinner ran an extra hour long which shortened our dancing and parting time for the reception. But nothing ever goes smoothly... I would suggest this place to a friend or family member.
