Love this place. Prices are great and more than standard movie food fare. Staff is very friendly. Amazing rapid turnover of movie selection. The down side are the customers. They (mostly folks over 30) are on their mobile phones through out the movie (and there are no reminders, nor staff asking for this rude behavior to stop) and it is distracting since the theaters are not stadium seating, but standard auditorium seating, where you can see everyones heads and phones. I am over 6 feet and unfortunately see all of them. Also, these majority white folks feel so privileged, that most leave their discarded trash on the seats and floor of the theater, making walking out a challenge, attempting to navigate food trays, glass beer glasses, and soiled food containers. An army of staff swarm after the movies and clean this unnecessary mess after each movie. (They are amazing). Most of the staff are in their teens and very polite, but the theater needs an adult manager onsite, theaters need patrolled, announcements need to be part of the previews to not use mobile phones, and to deposit trash in the many appropriate containers. I find myself going to the West Oaks AMC with stadium seating. Thus not noticing the majority of phone usage. Notice to the owner, please put some effort in remedying these issues. When I moved here I felt like this theater and concept was a welcome, very much like my former 90 year old neighbor theater and like to give my money to any locally owned business. I learned more about the area with your ads before the previews. I am a customer of Wheel Works (great customer service) and Ellie Lous BBQ (real smoked BBQ and I cannot live without) Love the new coffee shop options, too. Please maintain higher standards.

For many years I have patronized West Orange 5 and I have referred many people there. NEVER again will I do other. I have friends who went there this past weekend to see Robin Hood. Sadly, they never got to see the movie. Apparently, the theater did not have the "code" to get the movie. The staff kept coming in to tell them that the movie would start in a couple minutes. Finally, after an hour, the staff reported that the movie would not be playing. The staff offered for the patrons to see a different movie instead. "Im sorry but when you have your mind set on a particular movie, another movie just doesnt sound good. " And they did offer a refund for the movie. (Thank goodness) The problem I see with the whole situation is that many people were disappointed and inconvenienced. The theater should have done something to make up for their lack of service. My friends had consumed some popcorn and soda while anxiously awaiting the movie. When they asked for a credit for the food for their next visit, they were told no. The first staff member argued with them about it. The manager said the owner would have to make that decision. The owner felt like he didnt owe anyone anything other than a refund. I always encourage people to give business to the smaller businesses. I will not be doing that for West Orange 5. And the very sad thing is that they do not even have state-of-the-art theaters. Bad, bad business!!!!

Very pleasantly surprised with this place. They have construction going on currently so you have to go through a fairly dirty area to get to the ticket counter. Tickets are cheap (5.50 for a matinee). I got there about 5 minutes before my show started and got tickets and was in a comfortable reclining chair with 2 minutes to spare before the previews started. There is tons of leg room here and half of each theater is on flat ground with tables. The rest is like a normal theater with the levels going up about 10 levels or so. They have burgers and all sorts of food, beer, wine coolers, and the normal cinema fare like popcorn, soda, and candy. It looks like a dump from the outside, especially with the construction, and I expected it to be sticky and smell bad, but it was clean and had no discernable odor. The screen was in good shape, the picture was clear, and the sound was spot on. The pre-preview stuff they were projecting was woefully out of date, advertising for movies that were going to be in the theater in October (almost three months ago) but that was pretty minor. Parking was fine for me, but the lot seemed very small and I expect parking is really bad during big opening weekends. I will definitely be using this theater when there are movies out worth going to a theater for.

I always enjoy going here except they let a bunch of kids in the Annabelle movies at 9:50 on 8-19-2017 ruined the entire movie they would not stop talking through the hole movie from beginning to end and at 1 point another gentleman was so angry he stood up in the middle of the movie to say something to him but his spouse begged him to sit back down there is no excuse to show this in a movie theater for any reason because of this reason it will be the last time we attend a movie showing there. The even bigger part is according to my wife who used to deliver the mail for years said they are great people and if there they would not have put up with this problem

I attended this theater for the annual CENFLO Film Festival, and this theater is definitely one of the best Ive been to in awhile. While I didnt look at the regular movie prices, the concession prices were very cheap compared to most large movie complexes. Also, the food is actually really good (I had a burger and fries and it was amazing). The theater itself has nice seats and is very clean. I sat in the floor area, which had small tables, and didnt have any issue seeing the screen. While I was visiting the area, if Im ever in the area again Ill definitely be visiting this theater again.

Love seeing movies here! Prices are reasonable. Food selection is much better than your average theatre and reasonably priced as well. Chairs are comfortable and the screens and sound are right on par! The only downside to the place is getting out of the parking lot after a movie. It empties onto Maguire just north of Old Winter Garden Rd. Going right isnt much of an issue, but going left can be a wait. If they ever decide to extend OWG Rd on West, the theatre will definitely benefit with an alternate entrance/exit.

Ive this place come from old an almost out dated time build up to what it jas come today for the last 17 years i have loved in the area its a great movie theaterwith decent rooms with excellent sound quality prices are good over all ill give it 5 star becuase i remember what they used be like and what they are now . Side npte they provide private screening booths for cheap! so if you know that new hit film is coming out or some video that youwant to see with someone privately then they are an option too.

We love this theater! It is a friendly, cozy, neighborhood theater with all of the comforts of home plus surround sound, comfortable seats, clean good family atmosphere, tasty hamburgers, soda and popcorn. Friendly staff who is willing to assist. We have never had to wait to get into the restroom...which is a BIG plus..Cell phones and texting during the movie is NOT allowed and strictly adhered to. Parking can be a mess so plan ahead. Best Theater around! Elle and Marc Farwell
