The Broadway, now under the direction of vocalist, playwright, and actor extraordinaire John D. Smitherman, is a gem tucked away in the charming town of Pitman. More and more people are learning that the shows there, especially the musical productions and concerts, are phenomenal. Mr. Smitherman apparently has a LOT of gifted friends in show business and hes bringing them in, left and right. I attended the recent concert by four leading men (and a woman, who added charm, humor, and a gorgeous voice) and I was wowed by all of their voices, overall performances, and the cleverness and fun of the show. One of the vocalists in that "leading men" show at the Broadway was Jeff Coon, well-known and beloved star of many a play at Phillys Walnut Street Theatre and many other theatres. Im one of his many fans and when I saw ahead of time that hed be performing at the Broadway, I bought tickets for two of the three performances and would have bought tickets for the third except that I had another event to attend that night! One audience member told me afterwards that this was the best concert shed ever attended, anywhere! It was definitely one of my all-time favorites. Thank you, John, for making a great theatre even greater and I look forward to many future shows of all types at the Broadway. Have already bought tickets for six upcoming shows. P.S. Pitman has a lot of excellent restaurants, so its a good idea to have a meal at one of them before or after the show. Parking on the street is at a premium, so arrive early to get a space thats not five blocks from the theatre! And be sure not to park illegally, as the Pitman police are zealous about ticketing.

Childrens Theater and Events for adults are all well worth the ticket prices. We regularly attend the childrens performances and on occasion can get a sitter to attend the main stage shows. We always have a wonderful time. My kids look forward to stopping at the cookie bakery across the street first. We saw The lost little fish and got ourselves Dori and Nemo shaped cookies. A fun family theater I highly recommend stopping in. Beats a movie theater anytime!!!!

This theatre is fantastic. The atmosphere is classic. They have been updating the seating and it is getting better all the time. The popcorn is delicious. But, lets be honest, your coming here for the shows. And that is what they do best! I have seen several shows here, and each one was great! The cast blows you away with their performance each time. It might not be Broadway, but you wouldnt know it watching their productions.

We are first time subscribers to their theater series. The interior of the theater is vintage and charming. The show we saw, Anything Goes, was delightful. The acting, singing, dancing, costumes and sets were terrific. If this show is indicative of the rest of the series, were in for a real treat.

In an age of cookie cutter movie theaters and music venues, this place is a unique gem unlike anywhere else Ive been. Before whatever show youre going for, be sure to take some time to look at the woodwork and attention to detail throughout the theater.

Great place to see a quality performance on par with Broadway but at the fraction of the price. Awesome old restored theater now features new restrooms and a wine bar. Coda Rossa wines. Also visit the two new breweries only a block away.

WOW! This spot completely blew me away! I had no idea that a theatre like this existed outside of the city. Free parking, great restaurant within walking distance - a great date night!

Maybe a great family outing but would not recommend to anyone with tour bus business. No bus parking and passengers must walk from drop off area where ever youre lucky enough to stop.

You can buy a ticket for a year at $99 and see about 6 shows and they have different groups there last week they had the Duprees and the 4 Aces and it is a great little old town
