My wife and I regularly go to Magic City Casino. Unfortunately, these employees have very poor training and do not know how to treat customers, especially customers like us that our regulars. We go to the casino to have a good time; it’s not about winning or losing for us, because we do not have the necessity. Today 09/25/15 at about 11:00 pm after playing some hand poker, which I usually play every weekend, I go to the slot machine room. Then a casino employee comes up to me and tells me that I cannot be standing and staring at the slot machines because some people were complaining that they felt uncomfortable when people are looking at them. First of all, I wasn’t even looking at the man playing, and even if I was, who cares? This is not against the law or casino policy. I told him that I have all the right to be standing and watching the slots because the machines surround me and either way what else am I going to look at it? I’m in a casino! Tyron the supervisor then came up to me and because I disagreed with his opinion in a good professional manner, he told me to leave the premises. He then asked for security to escort my wife and I out of the casino as if I had committed a crime! Fortunately, I have been able to travel the world and visit some of the best casinos. I have played many tournaments and they have always treated me with respect. I have never been so disrespected in a casino. I have never been so ashamed of my city due to the lack of professionalism and disrespect I experienced. It is the responsibility of the managers and administration to train their employees properly and also maintain a good standard because Miami is a busy tourist hotspot. If tourists were treated this way, they would never return to Miami. From my experience going to Magic City Casino, classless people and people with no education or training like the employees are the only ones that are welcome and accepted in this poor establishment. Also apparently Magic City Casino favors some customers over others, especially the ones that are gambling addicts. My wife has also had bad experiences in Magic City Casino due to their poor security. A man tried to sell her a stolen phone and they did nothing about it because they are too preoccupied listening to old superstitious gamblers that say they are uncomfortable because they think someone is staring at them playing. Also, in the parking lot there is no security whatsoever, it is big parking lot that is open to anyone in a neighborhood that is known for being bad. They do not care about their customers outside of the casino itself, they only care about the money that goes inside. I would not recommend Magic City Casino to anyone local or any tourist. Save your time and money and avoid this place at all costs. Every aspect of this place is unprofessional and mediocre. That includes the concerts, food trucks, restaurants, etc. I have seen it all tried it all, don’t waste your time with this excuse of a place.

BLAKJACK & ALL MACHINES -I live in Miami and we dont have any casino that has blackjack table. When Magic City opened up and they offered "virtual Blacjack machines", I tried it out during its first year in business. I am a blackjack player, by all mean a good player. The blackjack machines at Magic used to be fair with the pay out hands, given that the house always wins. But these days the machines are totally unfair and ripped off. Machines have 90% of winning hands, always have 20, 21. How is that possible that everyone loose 5-6 hands, only won 1 hand. They are totally ripped off and as I took note and measures all the hands, notice that the house only paid 10% and won 90%. I am about to write a complain to the board of gaming casino. Even the gamble addict people stopped playing at those machines and they start driving up north to gamble. You figured these people have gambling problems, somehow they finally came to their senses and not showing up there to play the BJ anymore. These days The BJ machines there are normally empty, because people are totally fed-up and felt ripped off. Given that we are there to gamble, but with blackjack game, the probability is supposed to be 49/51. Lets say, I give the house 60/40, even these machines are not coming close, they are more more like 90/10, that the house has the 90% advantage. Even players have 20, 21 and BJ, the dealer "Pushed" with the same card. Even at our best hands, we still dont win, it is a total ripped off and I say to stay away from that place. Slots machines are also bad, yeah one can win $20-$30, but get the hell out of there before you loose it all. Better you drive a little further north and go to Gulfstream, Mardi Gras, Hard Rock Casino and Seminole, but never Magic city. The ambiance at Magic is totally low class and uneducated people whom lived in America for 20 yrs but dont even speak 1 word of English. and their dont even offer alcohol drinks. Mixed alcohol drink there is like $7-$10, barely any alcohol , served in plastic cup, totally classless for the price we pay. At least at other casino you can loose your money with some dignity and having the feeling that you are not being cheated and scammed. Drinks are free typically at other casinos or at least it is being served in a glass and not cheap plastic cup. The ambiance is at least a little more educated and you can at least speak to a normal human being in English. By all mean, I speak 7 languages, but I am disgusted with the level of people that go to Magic...

Mi nombre es Yoel Regueiro como pueden ver, vivi en Miami hace tres años pero me movì a California, hace unos dias estuve en Miami de vacaciones y decidi pasar por el casino, desde que entro me desilusiono porque veo que esta casi vacio, pero segui a jugar, primero fui a unas maquinas y segui para la rouleta que es lo que me gusta, puse mi billete de 20 dolares en la maquina y esta se puso negra al parecer tenia un falso contacto, llame al supervisor y le explique porque la maquina me gasto $4,50, no es nada pero es mi dinero, la muchacha escribio mis datos y me dijo que eso llebava un proceso yo me tuve que ir, y hasta el sol de hoy ni siquiera han llamado para disculparse, estaba robando a la cara, a esa hora comprendi porque el casino esta vacio

Deberían de cerrarlo. Parece mejor una institución de entidades católicas, una benéfica donde los clientes vamos a donar nuestros dineros es un casi-- nooooo paga o lo llamaría ésta casa no paga. Es absurdo!!!! Servicio de coctelería ausente , claro!!! Los clientes no podemos consumir porque no pagan esas máquinas. Serán gastar entre máquinas y servicios. El ritual de animación es aburrido, prácticamente es dirigido a la población de la tercera edad. Son los que mantienen a este lugar. No lo recomiendo!!!!.

THIS CASINO IS AN SCAM RIP OFF, UNFAIR PLACE FOR PLAYERS!!!! This casino have the worse return winning on their machines, MACHINE ARE EXTREMELY TIGHT FOR PLAYER!!!! I visited this place over 40 ocasion to play and try my luck",bringing minimum $600 to $4000,not in a single time i have won a $1000+ dollar jackpot, except one time i won $700., People start to play heavy and at least after an hour of playing is when machine pay first $70 or $100...(after expend $200 or $300) compared to other casino like the Indians, that in any moment people hit good prizes or jackpot. NOTE: I used to visit this casino because is in Miami, close to my home. I RECOMMEND THIS CASINO IF: Person wanna have a dinner or fun and throw away $200 in a 5 cent machine in a night, and pay $5.50 for a beer or $7.5 or $10.00 for a drink served in a plastic cup. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CASINO TO: Players that are willing to Invest a lot of money to win Prizes or jackpot. I BET, that any player willing to invest, it will end up with $0 money
