I have visited the Casino many times, but tonight will be my last visit ever! My girlfriend and I were having a good time before a little guy wearing an oversized yellow blazer approached us. His name was Joe. After being carded at the door by security and having a yellow wristband placed on her wrist, Joe apparently felt that she did not look old enough. I totally understand that so we stopped and let Joe see her wristband which wasnt good enough. So, he then asked to see her license. Then, he held the license next to her face and looked from the license to her face about 4 times. After gawking at it he then proceeded to tell her that she needed to walk with him to the security desk so they can scan her license!! Are you kidding me?? By that time I had enough and I told Joe what he can do with himself. It was ridiculously uncalled for and we will never be going back. To add more insult to injury, the little guy used his little earpiece radio to radio all of the security so we were then surrounded while I cashed in my ticket. I called and spoke with his supervisor, Michelle, who completely danced around the whole situation and gave me every excuse in the world as to why it happened. It seems to me that they dont mind driving away patrons. If you scan every license of a suspected minor then what would scanning it again do?? If you put a tight yellow wristband on that cannot be taken off without cutting it off then how can it be switched? Those are the excuses that were given. Weve been to countless casinos and this is the worst customer service ever. Thanks but no thanks. We will not be gracing your "Racino" again.

A small, country venue. Security is ridiculous, the employees wearing yellow jackets are everywhere, staring at you, its demeaning. An old guy carded my wife as we were exciting the upstairs area, tried to make jokes about it but was really just being nosy and asserting the casinos authority over us, a real dick move considering my wife and I are in our 40s, theres no mistaking us for minors. It was rude and uncalled for and is part of the reason we will NEVER return. We are going to also tell all our friends not to go there, which Im sure happens quite a bit. So after an evening of mediocre gambling (small wins, buttons on machines not working, pull levers not pulling, terrible music), we decided on one last hurrah the next morning. Yay we won 40 bones and as we were leaving with a cup of coffee I just poured, security stopped us stating we could not leave with coffee, lmao, yes, stopped us, I politely set the cup of coffee on the floor in the main entrance and without turning back or speaking a word left that ridiculous hell hole as that was the straw that broke the camels back. My wife and I agreed without words we would never return, was simply a look we gave one another at that moment. Folks, its awful at the Hollywood Casino in Youngstown, they take your money and stab at your dignity. Im not even going to discuss how nasty the food was (ok, maybe a little), bought a chicken sandwich that was given to me as a chicken soup as they poured what I believe was a cheese sauce on it. DONT GO TO THERE!!

My wife and I really enjoyed our night here! The shuttle picked us up and brought us back to the truck stop which I thought was really cool, didnt have to call a taxi. I dont know why there is so many bad reviews about this place, we travel accross country and visit alot of casinos and found this one to be no different. Everyone seemed to be very friendly and helpful! The payout rate on the machines better than usual, we walked out with more than we started. The drinks are about normal price and not any more expensive than other casinos and I like the smaller casinos. The only bad experience was that you had a separate, small room for smoking with no heat. But all in all, very comparable to most other casinos in the country. Had fun and will definitely be back!

I have visited this location twice this year and each time had to use the shuttle service provided by the casino. The call taker was very professional and the van arrived within ten minutes of placing the call. Kudos for the fast service! Although this gaming location is small in comparison to other Hollywood Gaming sites, the atmosphere is comfortable. Not really loose on the slot payouts, but it is understandable that this is a new location and needs to bring in more revenue before loosening their payouts (hopefully). I am from Minnesota and try to get here at least twice a year. Congrats on your new establishment and hopefully you will expand your parking options for larger commercial vehicles.

Cute and different. I truly enjoyed my trip here. As someone who is very experienced in the casino industry, this place is a nice change of pace from other casinos. Its very clean and relaxing. The drinks are far less expensive than their competitors and the staff was what I wouldve expected. The players club could use a little work, their sign up is somewhat tedious, but Im biast because Ive worked in many of players clubs / vip services and host positions. Good luck to the property and keep up the good work. Your slots are more than fair as well!

The doorman was very bias, I go to help these women out just the other day and he see s clearly and I turn to go back in and he like id please and I proceeded to continue to go back in and he like no seriously can I see your id, so I laugh thinking he was joking and he calls for his manager smh they will NEVER get any business from me EVER AGAIN. I felt so disrespected and for him to even do that after I just spent money won and loss. They need better employees who see s his job not color

My family went to this casino and were back home in one hour. My licence was scanned at the door which I thought was ridiculous approaching 50. We go expecting to blow some cash and be entertained. $$ went in and nothing ever came out. Simply not fun. One side of the joint has soda and food for sale.... on the other side is a help your self drink station. Glad I didnt waste any money buying a coke! Never intend to return. So much for a new business in the area.

Hollywood Gaming is a gambling casino. It is relatively new. they do not have table games but they do have over 700 slot machines. They have to eating places one is for sandwiches the other is a nice dining experience. There is plenty of parking and the atmosphere is very good period on the weekends they have excellent bands from Pittsburgh and Cleveland. It would be a good experience for anyone who enjoys that type of entertainment.

Very nice place. Clean, smoke free, very friendly staff. The security guards were friendly and spoke to me like I was a valued customer, which is the exact opposite of Presque Aisle downs in Erie. As for gambling, I dont offer a large sample size but I put $40 into their dollar slots and had 40 straight losing spins. Not even a $2 cherry or free spin. Seems like a low payout place. No buffet, but food court looks nice.
