I took my annual trip to the track to bet on the Kentucky Derby. I have been doing it since I moved here 8 years ago. To my surprise, the place was nice and spiffy except grass growing out of the paved parking lot that is not used that much. They should use vegetation killer to get rid of it, it only ruins the blacktop. The place as clean, and the bathroom was extra clean. With a sheet on the wall that the guys had to sign that cleaned and inspected it. The dogs of course have gone for the season, but they had a jumbotron in the grandstands on the wall that looks out at the track. I didnt stay long, I usually place my small bets, to enjoy the race, have a beer and a hot dog from those lovely ladies, and leave. I talked to a very friendly security lady and she was very nice, and pretty. I tell you the place is coming back. Now they have to get the word out, that it is even there. Do you know many people outside of Melbourne have no idea of the track, anymore. One reason is they have Club 52 plastered all over the sign, because the last nitwit manager thought that was the future of the track. Race tracks are race tracks and people want to come and see a race, even if it is cats. Get a better sign up. I believe in the track and the attraction it has. When I had a place in Sarasota, Florida, the track drew a lot of people, and they can do it here too. They have plenty of TVs, and a great bar area, and the betting window people are the best. So whoever the new guy is, keep it going.

Appalled. Never have I seen a dealer make a mistake and they make the customer pay for it. One side of table strattled. Dealer called the strattle but to the side of the table who did it. We didnt hear her on our side. Guy next to me calls the blind then she tells him about the strattle. He takes his blind and lays his hand down. Dealer takes his hand then tells him he has to leave the blind in play after taking his hand. Should have told him before so he had the option to call knowing he would lose his blind if he didnt. Contested with the floor manger and they sided with the dealer not the customer. They also charge for their drinks which hurts the employees. If they were free the waitress would have made at least $20 in tips from me. Instead she got a .50 cent tip on my $2.50 !!! cup of soda. Cheapskates. Also the dealer kept talking about the rules but we werent contesting the rules we were contesting how she handled the situation. She messed up but couldnt admit it. Fire her please.

I was excited when I heard there was a Greyhound racetrack in Melbourne when I moved here. When I went here I was disappointed. The field is no longer in use and they just have races and other sporting events you can bet on playing on the televisions. I walked in, looked around, and left. Not a place for the young. Parking lot is falling apart and the cement is not smoothed by any means. But, hey, at least you can bet on the horses and have a drink (I think)!!

Its a poker room. Its a business, most employees act like they are working off some court ordered public service. Its a soft room with dopey players and an easy on off to pick up a couple a hundred in a half hour. Lots of dopes who play hand grenade poker (close your eyes and shove all in). If youre patient its worth an hour for $200

I was playing poker but the management didnt like the way I was playing "falling asleep" as I was slowing the game so they kicked me out. How convenient after I lost my last hand. You guys will never see me again at this stupid show place!

Please cut the grass around the track, and infield.......and like, plant some flowers or something. Looking a little "shabby" !! You are still a race track......a nicer presentation would do wonders for your business. :)

This poker room was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Management is rude and they truly ar riding in a high horse. Do yourself a favor and just go to Daytonas poker and you will have e much better experience.

My wife and come here just about every weekend. We love to bet on horses. The place is very clean with a professional staff. Just wish they would pave the parking lot. The food is also pretty good.
