Went here for a K-6 school fundraiser and basically it gets one star for having a skating rink and one star for pretty good pizza. Everything was nickle and dimed, broken, or painfully slow. If you can get some sort of massive savings through groupon, eat at home before you go, and dont plan on doing anything except skating or playing in the bounce house/playground, itd be worth it. Maybe. The arcade games were hit and miss with idiotic children literally laying/standing on the skeeball table and other games to take selfies and money-eating machines. The card-recharge station will eat your money and then nothing, causing you to go to the counter to wait for one of the only two staff members to find time to handle a manual addition of money to your game card. Laser tag was a mess of broken equipment but the guy at the door seemed apologetic and let our group go twice because of the issues. The skating rink appeared to be well kept and no one complained of holes/rough spots/etc. The DJ, I think is who he was, seemed strung out or something as when I first saw him he was wigging out at the service desk about wanting to play real music. He and some older teens, maybe employees, I dont know, appeared to be making fun of some kids who fell by exaggerating a fall in the rink right behind them and laughing up a storm. Weird. The music was not appropriate for a K-6 fundraiser night, imo. Outkast (Dont want to meet your daddy, just want you in my caddy. Dont want to meet your momma, just want to make you cum-a.), other mature rap and pop (surprised I didnt hear that Miley Cyrus song where she says r me 30 times). DONT SIT AT THE FIRST TABLE AROUND THE BEND omfg these kids are fing stupid and just full speed slam into the table taking out drink cups and pitchers and it was infuriating. Most places have a material in the eating area thats either extra slippery or extra padded to discourage people going 10 MPH ffs. This place does not; its as smooth and easy to skate on as the main floor. I ended up putting three half-full cups at the end of the table and suddenly the same kids had no problem not ramming into the dang table. Their parents didnt care. The table we were at was also totally unstable (likely from the ramming) and random people would plop down and do their skates, violently shaking the table which again caused drinks to spill and generally irritated me. Dont sit there. Ive never been somewhere that outright charges for the skate-helpers. Maybe a deposit thats returned when you bring it back, usually no charge at all. Its ridiculous to have to pay 4.50, imo. When my daughter decided to try skating without it people kept eyeballing it like they were gonna jack it. One woman came up and asked if she could have it like I had the last bottle of potable water on the planet and just GLARED at me for the next 30 mins after I said no. I paid for it and if my daughter needed it I couldnt very well walk out onto the rink and snatch it back. I wouldnt mind sharing if I didnt have to pay for it. The place was def. understaffed and it took me 10 minutes just to rent the skate-helper while I watched them frantically go between the entry counter, service desk, and phone as a line formed on both ends. Would not recommend or return. Over $120 spent there and of that, only 40 went to the school from the entry ticket price.

My 5 year old loves this place so we decided to book his 6th birthday party here on August 12. I travel for a living so I called to reserve the time and spot (since its easier for me), instead of I guess going online and reserving. When speaking to the person to reserve the time she charged me a $50.00 holding place that will go towards the end cost (which is not out of the ordinary in my eyes). Fast forward to today July 25 (three weeks before the actual party), after going over the list again with my soon to be 6 year old we determined that he wanted to invite to many kids and it would be more cost effective to do the party elsewhere. When I called today to cancel they of course tried to see what they could do but we both realized it was just going to be to expensive, which then brought the conversation to the matter of the $50.00 that they charged for the holding fee. Well come to find out according to the girl that works at the front and the Assistant Manager that is a non-refundable fee. The issue I have with this is 1) when I made the reservation this was NEVER disclosed to me and 2) Im cancelling 3 weeks before the actual party how is that not advance enough notice to refund that money? I personally dont appreciate the way they do business because they dont disclose all the information up front. My son enjoyed going here but we will NEVER go back nor will I ever have anything positive to say about this place when asked. Again your response is why I have already swayed 2 of my friends not to have their kids birthdays partys here and will continue to do so. Thank you for not be understanding and not making it clear upon booking that the $50.00 was not refundable. Plus when I called there didnt seem to be a problem with open spots for booking, so I highly doubt you had to turn away people trying to book a party. Nice Try!

The skates are terrible. At almost $12 a pop, they could buy new skates every 8th visitor or so, but apparently having decent skates isnt part of the plan. Im on my third pair of size 12s now. They are a hard plastic that is very narrow and squeezes your feet and cramps them up. Ive been going larger and larger trying to compensate. I wear a size 10 shoe. Im on size 12 skates now. The last two pair have had one skate with a huge wrinkle/roll in the sole where the fabric has scrunched up into a big lump. I tried to get the gentleman behind the counter to let me keep the good left skate and try a different right skate but apparently they dont allow for common sense thinking. So each time now I have had something unusable in the bottom of the skate. Im not picky either. I will skate with one wheel pulling or whatever. But if you cant wear the skate, how can you enjoy yourself. I dont skate often enough to go buy skates, but if you are coming here, you better bring your own. These are terrible. One note, the girl at the front was very polite and competent. Unlike my experience with the skate rental section. They also require you to leave your shoes with them in order to get the skates. The gentleman behind the counter handles it in an awkward, hostage style manner. I asked for my skates and he brought them, as I went to take them he wouldnt let me have them and told me I had to take off my shoes first. It took me a second to realize what he meant. A simple, "I can store your shoes back here sir" would have been great. It has been an unpleasant experience. I wont likely be back unless I have my own skates.
