The Julington Creek Golf Club in Jacksonville is managed by Brown Golf, who have done an outstanding job of returning the club to its former glory. Julington Creek features several interesting holes. Number 1, although somewhat short, makes you hit an honest tee shot in order to leave yourself a short pitch to a fairly open green. The second hole features a tree-lined fairway and is straight away; pretty simple until you get up near the green. Hit your approach shot short right and you might find yourself in with a nasty lie in a deep bunker. Number 11 features fairway bunkers at the turn of the dogleg which can lead to a high number should you find yourself in one of them. Hit your tee shot left of the 150-yard marker and you’ll likely have to contend with a large, mature oak tree between you and the green. Julington Creek offers three levels of memberships, some that include reciprocal privileges to Windsor Parke Golf Club. You’ll also receive unlimited use of the driving range, free golf lessons, discounts on guest fees and access to the Brown Golf Reciprocal program. The relaxed social atmosphere in the clubhouse offers a great place to meet new friends and commiserate over the day at a 19th hole get-together.

02/19/2012 Horrible! Not sure where I should start – First the Driving Range little grass mainly dirt. Should have known this was a sign then two people that said they are members there told the Pro Shop they were not playing until the course was in better shape. Fairways are mushy and dead almost like sod had been planted and never watered. The Greens well they are not greens they have little grass lots of weeds and tons are dirt. In its current condition it is a $20.00 course not the almost $50.00 that we paid. I personally will never return.

I have book at the club house many time for school events the staff was awesome they took really good care of a group over a 100 they never miss helping when help was needed i have book another event this month and i know they will take very good care of us no worrys!!!! Now the greens look amazing they have put a lot of hard work into bring this course up to par my husband plays there a lot and he is very happy with this being our home course and we Love it Thank you Sarah Jens and your staff is Gr8

Played this course for the first time on Wednesday (4/11/12). The greens were in TERRIBLE shape, not much grass and plenty of sand - not puttable at all. The clubhouse made no apology for the condition of the course. These guys should shutdown until they can get the greens in shape, obviously if EVERY green is in HORRIBLE condition you have a serious problem. Footnote: would have left and asked for my money if not for the Execgolf membership card.

Wow! I just left Julington Creek and what more can you ask for in a golf course! Being one of the busiest golf courses in Jacksonville they always keep the traffic flowing and have the friendliest clubhouse staff. From the course layout to the driving range mats & the food this place is excellent. You can tell that the greenskeepers work tirelessly to keep this course in great condition. I dont normally do reviews but this is a five-star golf coarse.

I have had the worst experience at this golf course. 12/29/15 a couple of friends and I played here. First they messed our tee times up and had players back to back. They were Extremely rude, the food was horrible and took 45 min to cook. We found the cart girl ducked off in the woods texting. On the 9th hole there is a playground within vision little kids were screaming at us. I nor any of my friends will play this course again.

Have played the Champions Club multiple times over the last several weeks. The course condition is in outstanding shape... and the greens are probably the best they have been in several years. This course has a great little layout, and I would recommend trying it out if you havent played it in awhile. Side note, they have recently redone the snack bar ( looks great) and there are several new flat screens on the way as well.

Played a round on 4/14/12 and the greens are the worst Ive seen in Jacksonville! Fairways are in good condition. Not good customer service, some staff very rude. This was first time on course and not what you would expect for the price they charge. Had I known the greens were not playable I never would have booked my foursome. I was totally embarrassed.

yesterday we played at champions club and pleasantly surprised at how well the greens and the fairways are. I was not planning to play here but we had to because we bought champions card but I am glad I did. The staff is very friendly and pace of play was good, overall we all had great time.

Overall decent golf course, but the greens were in bad shape overall. The pace of play was very slow, a 5 1/2 hour round with only 3 players. Many times there would be two groups backed up on a tee box waiting to tee off. That slow of a round in 100 heat is not fun.

Good customer service, BRAND NEW golf carts, course in good shape overall. Greens are slow but in pretty good shape. Course is a beautiful layout in a development started 22 years ago. Lots of beautiful, large oak trees. Really a great value!

Terrible experience. Grass was super tall and the one grass that was trimmed was let in top of the green. It was very hard to really enjoy the games.
