If I could give this place less than 1 star, I would. I had my step-daughters birthday party here because I thought the value was awesome: cake, ice cream, pizza, drinks, and skating with free return pass for under $200 for 10 kids. So when you book the place online, it says that you will get the party room for an hour, but what you actually get is about 2 tables. Then you are rushed through your party because they book other parties exactly one hour after each other. Our party was at 1:45 and they tried to make us leave the party room at 2:45. When we asked for an additional hour, we were charged $50. Mind you, it was $50 for 2 tables, not an entire room. So we stated that was no problem because we wanted our daughters birthday party to go off without any issues. About 4 PM, we were asked to close out our bill because they were closing down registers. The place doesnt close until 5:45. It made us feel as though they didnt believe we would be able to pay our tab, because shortly afterwards, my nephew bought a drink from a register (that was supposedly closed down). About 45 minutes later, the adults that were not skating were asked to vacate the party room, because it was going to take them about an hour to clean and close up the party room. Mind you, there were no more parties going on. The adults left and the staff finished cleaning in about 15 minutes. They were then found skating, because they had completed their work. My question is, why was it such a big deal to do all of this, when the place was going to re-open at 6:30? Why give the worst customer service ever during a little girls party? If customer service is not your #1 priority, you should not be in customer service. I dont recommend this place for a birthday party! If it was not my step-daughters birthday party, I would have shown my butt in there!

Every time I come here theyre closed. The hours listed online vary all over the place. Apparently they close down so they can have parties. Since when do parties require renting the whole place? What happened to parties during business hours? I cant ever practice for roller derby. I was also told they sell skates here. Yeah they have exactly three pairs of skates for sale. Not types of skates, literally three pair. They said I can order them from a book, but they couldnt answer any questions and didnt even know how to order them. I can order online without their help lol. The one time I have actually got to skate here I enjoyed the rink. Except all the panhandling kids begging people for quarters for the games.

my wife took our six year old son to starcastle to play some video games. he put 2 quarters into a game to play as it was labled where you insert the money, it wouldnt work because way up on top of the game it says 4 credits......several other games are mislabled. the manager wouldnt make it right, wow!she ran a paying customer off over .75. manager stated her job is to make sure the games work. well when they are mislabled and a small child puts the wrong amount of money in the game, " they dont work....."

The decor is outdated but the staff where so nice and polite. Lots of smiles and good manners! The price was very reasonable for what you get there. The front desk girl was very friendly and helpful. There was a younge teenage boy who had fell or fainted and the staff was with him the whole time and did everything right until the boy regained consciousness and then took him to the ambulance. The staff really made this place a wonderful experience!

The party hosts were overwhelmed and underwhelming. Parents did most of the party work, not sure what they paid for. Update* people at the front just dont want to work, super lazy* its pathetic. They closed everything 1 hour before the building closed.... while people are trying to spend money! Its just horrible customer service, its just horrible here.

Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of our visit. Most of the arcade games are a little worn, but all seemed to function properly. Skating rink looked to be in good shape although we only used arcade. Huge selection of prizes. Spent $20 and played with 3 kids about an hour and got reasonable prizes for an arcade.

Ratchet! I dont let my daughter listen to the type of music they played for the kids! Contrary to popular belief, all black people dont listen to explicit music talking about drugs and sex. Just because they muted out the words doesnt mean it takes away the meaning of the song. No way will we ever be coming back.

We took three kids here for the day... all ages 6 and under. We spent about 2.5 hours there. Employees were very friendly from the front door to the skating rink... saw them skating around with kids who were learning and helping people up if they fell. Music was honestly pretty old school but we loved it!

I love this place!!! Its a second home for my children!!! They have to be there at least 3 times a week!!! The staff is wonderful, food is excellent and the variety of music is great!!! And the fact that the security is ALWAYS KN POINT AND ALERT gives me all the more reason to stay a loyal customer!!!

i am changing my rating and post to an all 5 after having been shown that leadership truly does care about their customers and their experiences. Thank you John for everything. My children were thrilled when I surprised them today by saying yes we can go back to star castle now.

Oh gosh, where can I start? I have went here since I was very young, I loved the arcade, had great moments at laser tag, and I always had fun at the skating rink. I never had a bad experience at the place, and the staff were usually nice. I cant wait for my next visit! :)

Theres always room for improvement, thats why its a 4. But I love going to Star Castle, watching the kids skate and have fun. The kids and their parents love Laser Tag also. The food in Star Castle is hot and good. Try ir for Yourself and tell me what you think !

The rollerskating rink is okay. The food is greasy and the arcade games and prizes are just okay. I know this review doesnt sound to great the reason why I said it was okay because I loved the lasertag. It had great hiding places and it was a lot of fun.

If I had young children(≤13 years old), I would NOT allow them to go there. (≥14 years old) I might allow my child to go, if police presence was obviously there for protection. In my opinion it is one of the worst outlets for young people in Savannah.

Only gets a 4 star because of the scaring ring. Arcade need some serious upgrading. Could benefit from more games. Use of cards instead of coins would be a welcome change. Place itself looks pretty cool. Friendly staff.

My daughter had her 10th bday here she loved it :-)) I got the king pkg skating and laser tag pizza brought my own cake they gave me an extra pizza.. Staff was extremly helpful and nice!!! Would Definitly recommend!!!
