After finding out that this place opened up I had to check it out for myself. Amazing! This place has a lot of rare games you wont see anywhere else. To my knowledge it is one of the only last living true arcades in the Miami area. It has a lot of rare Japanese arcade cabinets and they swap out the games from time to time to keep things fresh and new. All the classics are there like Donkey Kong, Galaga & Pac-man. They also have popular titles like Hydro Thunder, Crazy Taxi & House of the Dead series. But where they truly shine is in their rarity like Super Street Fighter IV, Guilty Gear, King of Fighters & Melty Blood. This place even has the super rare game The Act! They have a game for just about everyone, variety is their strong suit. They even have 3D enable TVs in the back for those looking for some console gaming action. Their setup for tournament style console play is phenomenal as well. With amazing response time displays and arcade stick rentals they take tournament gameplay to another level. From air hockey to competitive fighters, this place will entertain you. Everything is well priced, no "Points on Card" system being used here. Traditional token style arcade. For the price of a movie ticket I was able to play for about 2hrs+ on a large selection of systems. They even sell snacks such as Japanese Soda & Candy, which I highly recommend! This is a great place to take the kids, hang out with friends and just have a great night out. There are few a places to eat in the area like Tex Mex, Pizzeria, Chinese food and a McDonalds across the road just in case. The parking is great, plenty of space. And for those who take pride in cleanliness, have no fear. This place is always clean, bathrooms are pristine and they even have clean cold water fountains for those in need of some thirst quenching in between matches. The time, patience and love that has been put into this place shows. The owner is an avid collector so everything is and always will be in tip-top condition. The customer service is always spot-on and are genuinely nice individuals who are easy to speak to. I could write pages about this place and it wont do it justice. Its one of those things you have to experience for yourself. So if you are looking for a place to just hang out for a few hours I urge you to give this place a shot.

One of a kind, quirky place in the desolate SE Florida arcade scene. They have imported games that you may not ever have seen in an arcade in neat and comfortable import candy cabs. The modular cabinet games seem to rotate pretty often so it encourages repeat visits to see whats new. All the games are in great working condition (something operators too often forget) and take tokens for that old school feeling. Most games are fairly priced and I love seeing old favorites like Crazy Taxi, Virtual On, and X-Men 6 Player instead of newer, soulless shovelware and redemption games. Snack availability and clean bathrooms show they have pride in the place, too. Things keeping it from a perfect 5: too much room dedicated to console time-rentals (a few interesting shooters with portrait-oriented HD screens is cool, but doesnt everyone thats interested in consoles already have them?), expensive drinks (I understand Ramune being almost $2, but I cant understand an 8oz Coke costing as much as a 2 liter), and two unplayable pinball games oriented with their sides pushed up against a wall instead of the back.

This place has quickly become one of my favorite hangout spots. Its like stepping back into the 90s! I really love that it has all of the classic arcade games: Space Invaders, Tron, Pac-Man, House of the Dead, Gauntlet Legend, Mortal Kombat II, Tekken, Street Fighter, Blast City, and much, much more. All of the arcade cabinets are in mint condition and work great, too! Theyve also got PCs for multiplayer games like League of Legends and more, which is awesome. The token pricing is VERY reasonable and they also sell cool Asian snacks and sodas which is always a plus. The employees are very nice and helpful, and you can tell that the owner really cares about keeping his customers happy. My favorite thing about this place, however, has got to be the fact that its one of the few places in Kendall thats open LATE. Like, past 11pm, anyways! All in all, I really love this place and Im so glad I discovered it while just browsing around one day. Highly recommended, especially if youre a child of the 1990s!!!

Very much enjoyed this arcade. Definitely has the classic feel from the layout to the lighting to the fact that you are actually using tokens to pay for the games. Several food options nearby which is nice if you are looking to make a day of it. They have a broad selection of machines from many different eras. Quite a few multicades for the 80s classics as well as racers and shooters. When I went in they had a wall of pinball machines as well, all of which were in great working condition. They have an area where you can rent time on a PC with the games streaming live on TVs above. When I was there a patron was playing DOTA 2 so Steam does appear to be an option. I believe they also had console time rental in the same area as the PCs. The service counter is straight in towards the back. They sell drinks, candy and other items. Overall, a great experience and an excellent way to get in out of the heat.

I was raised in Brooklyn, NY from the age of 8 till i was 15 there was a arcade down the street from my house. I had my 15th birthday party at this arcade on its last day of business. After seeing this place closed my idea of a true arcade was gone. I met a friend who told me of Arcade Odyssey. I was reluctant to go but once i went i felt as if i was the 15 year old boy again, on top of that i have become a fan of many animes and when i saw all the games that i would think that i had to go out of the country to play right in front of me it was amazing!! One of the arcades best qualitys was the fact that once you enter the arcade the service is great you feel as if your returning to a friends house, all of the employees are extremely warm and welcoming. Overall i would say that this place is one of a kind and one of the best. Will definitely return to this place.

Being a part of the generation that grew up in the 80s it was quite the nostalgic moment when I walked into Arcade Odyssey. All the major games that I could remember where there and in great functioning condition. The games even worked on coins not magnetic card with timed play or confusing rates. For $20 we got 69 token and most games where 3 tokens or less so the $20 went a long way for us! I took my 2 boys (9yr & 17yr) and both of them had a great time. Only downsides which didn not prevent me from giving them 5 stars is tight parking and pinball area was a little cramped since it shares a space with PC Gaming area but it all adds to the experience, I will definitely be going again.
