20+ acre nature island in the city. Small lake. Trails for walking and running. Relatively quiet (some traffic noise from Telegraph) but otherwise peaceful. Open dawn to dusk. No pets allowed. Good for young children - deer in pen and hawk. A few pioneer style cabins. Winter activities include cross country skiing and maple syrup making. Nice nature center with bathrooms. Not commercial at all.

Horrible! They kicked us off the park for stepping on a bug! I wont come here again thanks to stupid park workers. Just like the librarians at the Bloomfield hills library. Stupid, showing off and mean.

A nice place for a walk with or without the kids. After a walk around the lake we went inside the nature center and enjoyed the warm while watching many different birds around the feeder.

This place is awesome to discover nature , see some animals and relax on that amazing view on the lake , it is also a very good place to study at but the bugs can be annoying some time

Very nice place to walk and see some of our native animals! The learning building isnt open that often though.

Lot of trails to walk. Nature center has lots to see and do. My kids were busy inside for over an hour.

Beautiful!!! Great house on the prairie feel. Many fish, turtles, frogs, birds.
