I went to Cinema 6 to see Men In Black 3 here last night because it was the only place playing the movie. We arrived and I could tell the place was a bit worn but it was in good condition. We got our tickets and went to the theater; I thought it was really nice---there were mini tables beside each chair. When the movie started, the volume was low and I was barely able to hear, and the movie seemed out of focus---it wasnt digital, but rather a film. They tried fixing the sound--it would raise, but be fuzzy, and at one point the lights went off and the movie stopped as they were attempting to fix it. A couple minutes later, it came back, but still wasnt working right. At times the audio would cut out for a couple seconds. We thought it was the theater, but I walked out and heard the other movies blaring. Finally the sound was fixed and sounded right, but the video disappeared and the lights came back on. At that point, we decided to get our money back, as did everyone who was watching the movie. The cashier gave us our money back and apologized for the mishap. It seemed like a nice place to catch a movie for only 3 dollars, but unfortunately the film wasnt up to par. Even though this occured, hopefully I can go back to catch another film sometime, because it is a very nice theater that unfortunately had unfortunate luck

This is my familys FAVORITE movie theater ever! We consistently make the long drive over here because the staff is wonderful, the movies are current, and the food is absolutely outstanding. We love how they keep movies longer than other theaters, and the tables in the theaters are fantastic. The chairs are comfy, and will be even more so once they finish some improvements theyre working on. They always have something cute in the lobby for kids, such as a build-a-bear station and gumball machines. My family also loves the food here because its always fresh and delicious, and theres such an amazing selection. We never eat before a movie here because we always have leftovers, and they bring the food to you in the theater. The movies never have previews though, so if youre always late to movies (like we are) prepare to be there exactly on time or youll miss the beginning of your movie. They also have collectible popcorn tins or other collectible items sometimes for special movies like Star Wars and The Hunger Games. You will not regret a trip to this theater!

I went to see Dark Knight rises which was listed on Moviefone as playing on Tuesday at 1 and 7 but when I got there I saw that it was only playing at 1. I complained to the man selling tickets that I had come 28 miles out of my way to their theater to see this movie and it had been listed as playing at 7 and he told me I must have read the weekend listing. Well thanks for the insult to my intelligence but No I had not. He said He would check the listing and started looking it up on his phone. I said it sucked to drive all that way and find out the movie wasnt playing and he grunted and said, "Yeah that really sucks."As if I was trying to weasel him out of the measly 3 bucks! No offer to do anything about it or even an apology. He had his head down and didnt even notice that I was leaving! Crappy service to the nth degree!

So very happy to have this theater in our area! This Saturday we had planned my daughters birthday at Sunwest. Well it was the day that the rains came and kept on coming. We had 18 kids standing under the pavilion and at the worst times in the bathrooms waiting out the storm. The owners of this theater Chanel and Jason on a moments notice put together a great package for us to bring these kids to. We saw Boss Baby which was fantastic. The kids had popcorn, drinks and really good pizza! They presaled all our tickets so we were sure to have enough for our showing before we even arrived to pay for them. At the end of the showing the owner came in explained to everyone the situation and asked if eveyone would sing Happy Birthday to my daughter! This is a company that has a heart.... you wont find that at Hollywood 18!!!!!

For the past many years, this has been our favorite theater. We go a few times a month, and I even received a gift card from my kids for Christmas. I cant remember the last time we went to another theater. For anybody with kids, this is the way to have a great time, see a good movie with all the snacks, etc. and still have money left in your pocket. They have the best popcorn and the nicest staff, and its great to see a movie on the big screen without taking out a loan. I normally take my 2 boys and we get our tickets, popcorn and sodas (with refills) each, and all for under $30.00. Cant go or do anything fun like this for that kind of money around Hudson. Keep up the great work. We will keep coming.

Cinema 6 in New Port Richey has an unbeatable price of $4.00. If people want a, updated fancy looking theater then they need to expect more for their buck! I find the seats to be just fine, not planning to stay that long where I need the comforts of home. Refreshments are very tasty, and staff very pleasant. Bathrooms were definately kept clean. I love that this theater kind of reminds me of the days when I was a little younger going to the theater. Alot of small quaint towns still offer these cute family own theaters. Going there to watch a movie offers movies that just left the larger expensive theaters which is worth the wait if you dont need the atmosphere of 3D theaters.

Not sure who wrote the reviews but this theater is nasty. The place is dirty. Its not renovated at all. Still sports the Cinema Grill seating from the 80s (complete with tables between seats). Our particular theater had a garbage bag covering the seat. If Paying $8 per ticket (@ 3:30pm no less!) for crappy theater, uncomfortable seats and a creepy vibe is your thing, then this is the place for you! Otherwise go north a little or south a bit for a decent theater. It gets 2 stars only because the staff were friendly. If this was "renovated" in 2009 then I cant imagine just what was done. Or how bad it was before? I cant imagine worse.

I hate this theater! People are RUDE & discriminate on ppl no matter how much money u spend there. We used to go here 3x+ a week & buy whole pizza combos everytime (spending $30-$50 each visit). WILL NOT RETURN until they change the ppl that work there. Not to mention the theater is smaller, smaller screen, & seats are always sticky. But the biggest problem is the people. Discrimination is illegal & ugly amd their judgemental looks & comments along with their rude mean attitude is unnecessary. What happened to the nice ppl that used to work there? Apparently didnt wanna be around the negativity anymore, who can blame them.

I have been taking my daughter to this movie theater off and on for several years and I would like everyone to know that it has improved significantly over the last 6 months or so. I have been to the other theater down the street and it costs me about $40-$50 to have popcorn, soda, candy and my tickets for myself and my child. At the cinema 6 grill we get the same thing for less than half the price. People that complain when the price is that low should realize that you get what you pay for. We have a great time every time. Thanks new owners, keep up the good work!
