First off let me start by saying this place is an absolute joke of a bowling alley. Heres why- 1) The lanes are so oily you will literally have oil dripping down your ball after every shot. I went on two separate days just to make sure it wasnt a bad day for the mechanic but apparently thats how they oil their lanes. I asked the manager on duty on both days (a male with glasses and an overweight rude female) and neither knew the oil pattern of their own lanes. What a joke. 2) After 8pm they shut down all the lights (this was a week night mind you) and PROJECTION SCREENS came down right above EVERY single lane in the place. The projections literally reflected like a mirror on all of the lanes; you couldnt make out the lines but its not like it even mattered since it was such a large distraction to have a huge projection screen right above your lane in the first place. Ill try to upload a picture of it. I had to take one because it was so absurd. 3) After the screens came down I had enough of it and decided I wanted a refund for the games I didnt play. I was 3 frames into my second game and the manager, when I complained, didnt say a single word but instead refunded me the money, except it was PRORATED. Thats right, she actually did the math on the three frames I played and reduced my refund by that amount. The money isnt a big deal at all, but the fact that she didnt say a word and couldnt even refund me for the entire game as an unsatisfied customer speaks volumes about the quality of this place. How does someone with such horrible customer service become a manager ANYWHERE? 4) The prices are an absolute joke. AMF are not great bowling alleys but they are LEAGUES better than this alley in price, customer service, lanes... really everything. I average around 200+ at any AMF, but this place is just a gimmicky joke. Apparently the owner of this alley also owns Boardwalk Bowl. I cant imagine thats any better at all. Heres the best part of my whole review- my mother was telling me how she met the owner not too long ago and he was talking about how the new alley at Fashion Square Mall was a gimmicky joke. While Im sure thats true, Id love to let him know how much of a joke HIS alleys actually are.

We thought this place was going to be nice because we use to go to their sister spot on Colonial. We recently moved to this part of town and decided to try this one. The place smelled a little weird, but they usually doesnt bother us. Wasnt too busy for a Sunday night. Pricing was good for 2 games. My main problem was the service for food and drinks. We waiting 20 minutes before I decided to walk up to the service counter and ask for drinks and food. They told me my server should be coming around soon. I decided to just get drinks and wait for service so I could tip the server. We played through 2 games and no one ever came around. Not a single server came to introduce, ask for an order, or to ask anything. We ended up not eating and left after the 2 games. I asked the staff again at the counter and they said (again) that servers come around. I tried to explain what was going on and they kinda shrugged it off. I think next time, Ill drive the 25 minutes to the other location on colonial.

I called Aloma Bowl about 2 weeks ago to check the prices of bowling on Saturday as I was planning to bring a group of students for an event. I was told that the price was half off an hour of bowling. I told the students that the cost would come to about $10 a student and that they should bring that amount with them to the bowling alley. When I arrived, I was told that the prices were not what I was quoted and that it would be more expensive than $10 a student. I explained the situation and that each student was only bringing $10. I was told by the manager (quite rudely) that that was tough luck and that if I couldnt tell him the name of the person I spoke with, he couldnt follow up with that person and get to the bottom of it. As a result, we didnt get in as much bowling as we had planned and we were treated very rudely by the staff. The facility is very nice, which is what earned the 2 stars instead of 1 star. Because of this, we will not be returning to this facility.

I have never thrown a party for my son with the exception of his 1st birthday. So I was very anxious about the whole experience. We decided we would celebrate his 7th birthday at Aloma Bowl because my son requested it to be at a bowling alley. Boy oh Boy was that the best decision I have made. The staff was very friendly and our waitress "Caitlyn" (hope I spelled her name right) was amazing. Always kept checking if I was comfortable and if everything was ok. If I needed anything. I opted out of the birthday food package because we thought at the time it was too much and we would save. Well.. without the food package our order came up to $250 but when she talked to the manager about switching us to the food packed it dropped to $187. This was money well spent. My son had an amazing time and so did his friends. Thank you Caitlyn and everyone at Alome Bowl who took such very good care of us and making my sons 7th birthday experience not only a blast but amazing!!

We love, love, love Aloma Bowl. Our Youth League moved there when another (unnamed, and not surprisingly now out of business) alley decided to raise the rates for the kids and no one else. They welcomed us with open arms and have been kind, accommodating, and courteous. The Grille is great, they have something for everyone from the health conscious to the fried food obsessed. The staff at Proshop are so helpful. If they dont have it, theyll get it and if you dont really need it, theyll tell you instead of taking your money for useless goods. I cannot say enough nice things about Aloma Bowl.

I work at a child care close to Aloma Bowl. I took my summer campers a few times during the summer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The children had an awesome time bowling and the pizza is AMAZING. Mr. Miguel was very attentive and helpful. He had our lanes ready and our pizza was always waiting for us as soon as we were done bowling. I highly recommend this place for summer field trips with kids. A+ for all the attention given by Mr. Miguel.

The manager on duty was very unaccomadable today. I went there because I bought a groupon to try them out and they wouldnt redeem my groupon over the phone which wasnt mentioned in the groupon. He didnt care about my business or offer any other possibilities, rather he continued with what he was doing and disregarded me. Forget my groupon Im not coming back with a group or myself again. Definitely a regretful groupon purchase!!!!!

Dont even bother bringing kids here after school. The staff will treat you like garbage and tell you theres no lanes available. Such a shame, was told 3 times in a week to "come back tomorrow, league play tonight." No. Thanks, but no. Theres no reason to keep telling my son he cant do the one thing hes been looking forward to all week, and having to explain why people keep lying to him.
