I played there on Wednesday 4-23-14 as a guest and had an amazing time. Greens were amazing. Challenging course. Free range balls were nice and backdrop for range was the beautiful Yacht Club with all the boats moored in their slips. I enjoyed it so much that I took a brief look around the club and everyone I met there was very friendly and told me all about the club and the different amenities available to members. I picked up a flyer about their summer program. I called the next day and spoke to Sarah and she was most helpful in arranging a time to walk the course on Friday afternoon. I am interested in playing more and walking for the exercise and they allow you to walk anytime subject to available tee times as long as you carry your bag. I arrived around 3:15 after work and checked in at the pro shop and headed out to putt a little and took off. Walked 18 in 3.5 hours and had a great time. I had my wife drive down and meet me and we had a delicious hamburger by the pool over looking the harbor and it was a great burger in an amazing setting. The best part was all the members we met were extremely friendly and outgoing. They asked if we were new and introduced themselves. We visited for a minute after we ate and then we went up into the clubhouse, taking a self guided tour. First man we met off the elevator had been a member there for 45 years. Talked for a while and met his wife and had a great visit. Overall my experience was a 10/10! The members I ran into on the course were nice and those by the pool and in the clubhouse were as nice as they could be. Quite the contrary from the sometimes stuffy feel you get when visiting a private club. I plan to try this club out for the summer and see what happens. I have lived for 26 years on a private course 15 minutes away and belonged to another private club nearby and judging by first impressions I have found my new home. This is how joining a club should feel. I am excited about the next five months to get myself and my game in shape and make some new friends along the way.

We rented a PYCC slip that turned out to be shorter than advertised, so not appropriate for our boat; we also werent thrilled with the location. When we decided to leave within a week of arriving, we requested termination of our country club membership ($200/mo) and at least a partial refund of our $1000 deposit. PYCC refused to refund one penny, although we hadnt used any services besides the dock. Per our contract, they had this right, but we were shocked they would be so unethical as to keep all of our money, unearned. We felt utterly ripped off.

We just had my daughters wedding reception at the Pasadena Yacht and Country Club. We could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was wonderful to work with, the food was amazing and the service was excellent. A special thanks to Ann, Steve and the entire staff for making this day even more memorable. They went out of their way to help us plan, decorate and even pack up when the event was over. If you have a special occasion coming up, contact them and I know that you will be pleased with this amazing venue.

Ive been a member for 6 years. Its a great course to play on a daily basis as the holes have variety and different challenges. The greens are perfect. New ownership is making changes to improve the quality if the fairways and rough to match the greens. There are games almost daily so you dont have to worry about finding a regular group. I would be a social member even if I didnt golf. The food and atmosphere are excellent.

Played there 9/18/13 great course, lay out require different shots off the tee. Green were FAST, respect the GREEN, or you will be three putting every hole. Sand traps are in great shape, nice views. Staff was excellent, met the club pro who informed me the lower score was 64. The course render me a beat down, I shot a 88 ( bad case of the slice). I WILL BE BACK! AKTHEACE

The jewel of Pinellas county. Food is excellent every time; staff is wonderful and management is responsive. High end golf course is undergoing a complete redo and will be ready again in October. I have been a member for 20+ years; PYCC is finally first class.
