My family and I have watched about 4 movies here since moving to the area in January of 2015. I was a little skeptical because of the awful reviews. I honestly dont have anything negative to say about this theater or the service. Im not sure if theres been a remodel or change of ownership recently but my experiences here has been nothing but great. Ive never been in an auditorium with a bad smell so I cant comment on that. The last time I watched here was with my kids and their friends about a month ago. The staff is friendly and helpful, they offered me the Regal Card to rack up points and earn rewards. I was glad to see they have this kind of program because we watch movies often and it gets expensive, this allows us to get $$ off for tickets, etc. The seats are comfortable (I cant remember about stadium seating because no one has sat in front of me so I honestly dont recall) and the facilities have always been clean. The theater has never been crowded which I love, maybe its because people dont wanna try it out due to the negative reviews. I wont complain about prices because its a movie theater, prices are always high, especially for concessions. I merely wanted to give people another honest opinion to consider. This theater is nice and clean, the staff is great. I will certainly come here again and recommend it to anyone.

Edit3 - Scroll down, I had to edit and anyone coming here needs to read the whole thing. Angled seating instead of stadium seating. I havent seen that in a couple decades, but given how this place smells (like urine. Another review said the smell was offputting but I didnt think anything of it until I walked into the theater). For the price and location this place should be very different. Edit - the longer I sit here the worse it smells. Im torn between seeing this movie and for a refund. Im actually considering vomiting, maybe that will improve the smell and/or burn out my sinuses. Im lowering an extra star. Edit2 - couldnt stand it, ran into the bathroom to vomit and was pleasantly surprised. Bathrooms are clean and smell better than the movie theater. Id give it back a star except for the upchuck in the toilet. Still surprised though. Id offer an extra half a star, or alternatively round up - but this place isnt worth that good nature. Tl:dr - go to the Regal 8 down the street unless bulimia is a thing for you.

We go this theatre often and have only seen a manager once. The seating is terrible, there is no stadium seating at all. There was only one guy working the snack bar, with a huge line. Meanwhile, there were two people in the ticket office and there was no line at all. Another thing to note, all of the times we have been here there has never been an usher to check tickets. Any kid could just walk right into an R rated movie and nobody would ever realize it. And like I said before, Ive only seen a manager one time. The thing is, there is another Regal cinema right down the road from this one that has stadium seating, awesome staff, and cleaner auditoriums. We try to go there as much as we can, but unfortunately this one is usually showing movies that that one isnt.

The first thing you notoce when you walk in is the strong urine smell, it is over whelming. Took forever to buy our tickets when my wife and I final got someone at the booth our movie had already started. Then standing at the concession waiting once again another 15 minutes waiting on the manager to final come over to assist us, then for discount for having a our app wouldnt work on their end so I could not collect my points to earn rewards. Once in movie the sound kept going out finally after less then 15 minutes of sound coming and going we decided to ask for a refund but manager refused to give us our refund or even sit us in another movie with sound, so we finally got annoyed of hearing excuse we just gave up and left.

Im visiting the area and decided to go to this theatre since it was the closest one to where I am staying. The first thing I thought when i walked through the doors is this place should be busier. I got my food and ticket there where at least half a dozen people just standing around near the ticket taker. When i turned down the hall to actually head to the movie, Im not even totaly sure how to describe it, One of the worse smells i could imagine. Thinking that this was a fluke and maybe inside the theatre it would be better. It was only slightly better. I had to spend most of the movie trying to not gag it smelled so bad. Personally i cant enjoy a movie when things like this are happening.....

We asked for tickets for the 5th wave and they gave us tickets to zootopia. So not only did we miss our movie but it was the very last showing of it for any theater in our town. We also overheard other people get tickets for the wrong showtime. Terrible staff. We waited at the guest services desk for a good 10 minutes for our refund while the manager made direct eye contact with us and kept carrying on a conversation with the security guard, which was not an important conversation. They were telling stories and laughing to each other meanwhile we waited for our tickets refund for our missed movie because of them. NEVER coming here again. Hire better staff.

My family visits this area annually and we always enjoy a movie during the week. I wanted to comment on the smell of the facility, it was over powering. We were not disappointed in the service or the movie but with the smell. The owner should invest in addressing this issue. After we came back to the condo we looked at the reviews and the issue of smell has been submitted previously. It is a serious consideration for the users of this facility. As a tourist it does not effect me daily but it appears that it may be affecting the consumers.

Fort Walton Beach should get a new movie theater This place has old fashioned seating and compares to dollar theaters in bigger cities. If someone sits in front of you their head will block the screen. Another observation is that the movie theater is not strict enough with the movie goers. Every movie that I go to, people are using their cell phones and talking aloud during the movie. If you go to AMC in Destin, this does not happen. I do like the Free Regal Rewards, which is why I gave it two stars.

This theater sucks. Period. Came here to see battleship because it was free for military. A/c did not work and it was cooler outside. The seats are uncomfortable and the seating arrangement itself is worse. Its almost the opposite of stadium seating. The screen is at eye level towards the back and the closer you get you actually dip below the screen forcing you to look up. I swear the people sitting in front of me were actually seated higher than me.

This theater is decent as long as you see at least 3-4 security cars/people around. If not, this is a favorite delinquent teen hangout and best to stay away from, especially most nights or weekends. The inside security does not watch who goes where so 12 years olds are frequently seen (and heard) in adult movies that are a strong Rated R. Any movie you visit here, you can expect the theater to be full of noisy teens. I refuse to come back ever.
