We live in South Florida and we recently had hurricane Irma pass on 09/10/17. We were out of power from 09/10 thru 09/16. The power resumed; we decided to celebrate by taking our son & his 3 friends to watch a movie. My son & his friends are ALL Honor student who take AP courses since being in the Academy they all attend. These are well rounded, respectful young adults. With all the peer pressure these days & bullying they still pursue ways to stay above the pressure and continue to strive academically for a better future. These kids are upstanding young citizens. Thats just some insight on the situation. After spending about $75 in tickets and another $50 at the concession stand, mind you Im spending this money POST HURRICANE, I asked my husband to escort the boys to the theatre and obtain seats while I finish paying for the food. As my husband was walking with the boys to the auditorium, the security guard stopped them very rudely by saying "Hey stop, where do you think youre going? To see "It", give me your IDs!" First of all I bought 6 tickets and the clerk verified that they were accompanied by adults as well as the ticket collector, so why midway to the auditorium while with an adult are they being asked tor ID? My husband says "Excuse me, these are my kids why are you stopping them for ID? To which this security guard responds "Oh your here to vouch for them? You gonna watch them, because I dont want any yap yap yapping during the movie" So my husband and my son alongside his friends are walking to the auditorium, just walking, they werent being a nuisance, they werent loud or disorderly, so again I ask, why were they being harassed for no reason? I spoke to the manager and he gave the boys free movie passes but thats not my concern. I find it very discerning that a security guard who obviously has a chip on his shoulder is allowed to talk to the patrons of your business in such a disrespectful manner. Hes there to provide security not to bully innocent kids out with their parents. Aside from feeling disrespected, it was also embarrassing, because he did this in front of other people that we see daily because we all live in the same community. This is completely unacceptable behavior and needs to be dealt with as such. We live in a day in age where I can stream any new release movie for FREE. I chose to go spend my money so we can have the "big screen experience" All I got was disrespect and embarrassment. This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had concerning my son and his friends. That security guard should not be allowed to interact with the public or provide him training on how to treat the patrons of your establishment.
Nothing special here besides the one way seating and movie ticket discount on Tuesday. You can see the age on this Regals however, Requires a update to the whole theater. Click more to see my in-depth review! Location: If you are coming here for a date night, you might be disappointed the my lack of something pretty to see(Besides your date hopefully). The mall requires a big overhaul. Setting: The theater is pretty old and its starting to show its age with its carpet and other amenities. Staff: Its hard to truly review a staff of a establishment like this, you have to consider that most people who work here are going to be youngsters in High School - college. I have tend to see that they wont always check for ID from my knowledge ,but it might differ from person to person. Crowd: The main reason I tend to not want to go to this theater is because of the Crowd. From my many visits there will always be people talking and making some sort of distractions. Comfortably: People mostly go to this Theater because of the seating, this Theater offers a one way seating meaning there is no Stadium style way of sitting. Which then offers a much better way to experience 3D movies, and movies overall. Like the mall itself, its okay. You see how outdated and old this Theater is. Just like the mall itself, it needs a fix up to make it look more attractive.
had the worse experience ever, was treated like a criminal and the fact that my minor children were there and no consideration was given, speaks volume from this place! so unprofessional and ghetto! the security/cop with little to no respect for a woman and her children! i can count the times Ive visit this facility and last night was the last time me nor my children will ever step foot there again! management wants to fix everything by giving free tickets instead of correcting individuals that have no consideration for others! who sits on a movie seat with their legs wide open, feet on railing pushing 200+ pounds on the back of their set that is meant to slightly tilt back, yet instead you are forced to sit sideways, still with someones head in your crutch yet a security and staff has the audacity to tell you to move with your children to another seat so they can accommodate slobs! DISGUSTING! of course security/police have to abuse the power their badge gives them by threatening my husband by saying he will get him arrested and the whole time hes rubbing his gun, all this done in front of my minor children! only one word can describe, SAVAGE PIGS!!!! I definitely dont recommend any descent family to this HORRIBLE low class movie theater! TO EACH ITS OWN!
On a date with the hubby and no kids, seeing the movie War for The Planet of the Apes.I see something jump off the corner of my eye. I think nothing of it first until it happens again! I stare away from the movie for a min almost at ending and I stare where my eyes caught that something. And for sure I see this rat jumping the stairs and under the seats behind us scrambling thru Garbage to munch on some popcorn. I tell my husband who then sees it and tells me to take a picture as proof but who interrupts a movie for a picture!? So and the end I make sure I try to. But while people are walking out it starts to run down toward me and even another couple people see it but no picture. So either way my husband tried to get it to the attention of tge personal, and the man blew him off by saying okay, and yet mived no finger to do anything. So if it werent for the FACT:THEY ARE NOT RODENT FREE. I would have enjoyed my whole movie till the end.
Love this theater, it is my theater of choice for all my movies. They have great portion sizes and have very friendly staff. The theater is always clean (including the bathrooms which is very much apppreciated) and organized. They are very attentive to always have the latest posters and ads on upcoming movies. They have a wide choice range of candies, food and even beer. All in all my favorite place to go to. If I really had to say anything critical about the theater I did notice auditorium 2 had a big blue spot at the center of the screen. It kinda messed with the lighting of the whole movie but Ive only had this happen during my second viewing of Star Wars Rogue One. I hope this helps. It really is a great theater, hope everyone enjoys it as mutch as I do. Big thank you to all the staff that work there.
