Love this place! In an era of corporate multi-plexes the Clayton stands out. Built in 1948, it sports an art-deco interior. Comfortable seating, plenty of parking, friendly staff, very reasonable ticket prices & first-run movies make this a great theater. Support your local business - especially when they are this excellent! (Okay! Only one thing I would change - the popcorn could be better)

We love this theater. It reminds us of the theaters of the past,,, simple, classic, and easy. The owners were able to upgrade the equipment so as to be able to show the new releases and still keep one foot in the past. Our family all love the popcorn, etc. and the price is reasonable. It is not perfect, but it seems they have brought out the treasures, both old and new.

Nothing beats the experience of seeing a movie in a good old neighborhood single theater! The new screen is amazing, the seats are comfortable and all have good lines of sight! Fun and friendly people greet you, the selections are new, and all of the prices are reasonable. For me it is great to go to a theater that is 10 minutes to and from my house!

I grew up in Dagsboro, DE and every Friday night, we would go to a double feature at the Clayton Theater. My mother worked there as an usherette when she was in high school. I am so happy that it is still in operation today! It is a great piece of history and a wonderful bit of nostalgia.

This theater is a step back in time. It is the perfect place to take kids to see the movies. The tickets are reasonable and the food is as well. All the staff is friendly. I also love that they keep the volume at a reasonable level, some movies I leave with a headache to the loudness.

Many bad experiences. I lived in Dagsboro my entire life. They used to be good when the old video rental store was open. Now they suck. From issues like sound cutting out to allowing to many people into the theater, its better to just drive over to a real theater like Midway.

I took my children to this theatre when they were young, and now I take my grandkids. It is as close as one can get to owning a time machine. The snacks rock and the balcony is the icing on the cake. Local, friendly owners make all the difference. Love it much!

Decent prices, awesome popcorn, and a great variety of candy and beverages. There is however, very little leg room in the upstairs balcony seats, and a single toilet for ladies use. Otherwise, we always have a great time at the Clayton Theater!!

Great family run business! Enjoy a movie the way they are supposed to be seen. You can only watch 1 movie at a time anyway why do you need a giant 12 movie Mega-Plex. They even have balcony seating. Tell me that doesnt take you back.

This is one of the last single-screen movie theaters left on the east coast showing first-run movies. Most people under 40 have never been to such places, so go and enjoy a classic experience in this very stylish venue!

Fun night at this classic theatre. Interior is in great condition, ticket prices are cheap compared to the big multiplex, and snacks are tasty and affordable. This was our first time here. Well be back.

Lovely old theatre. Restored with digital movie system. On Monday they have classic movies for $5. Senior nights Wednesday and Thursday. The Clayton does not play 3D or IMAX.
