This is a beautiful course that makes great use of the natural terrain and water to provide a captivating, challenging and in many ways breathtaking golfing experience. It is narrow, has tons of water, the tee boxes and fairways are in great shape, it has impeccable greens that are hard to read . . . and did I say it was beautiful. This is the first time that weve played this golf course, but it wont be the last. The only weakness of the course is that many of the sand traps have a very thin layer of sand and then its hard pan. But thats it. The greens are challenging but they are fair. The staff in the pro shop, at the starter’s hut and the grill are really friendly. We are from Austin, Texas and have played golf courses all over the US. This is one of the best public courses that we have ever played . . . including privately owned public courses. Its hard to believe that this is a "county" course, because it is run better than many country clubs.

The most tricked up greens you will ever see. No putt is straight, every green has multiple tiers and double breaking putts. The average golfer will get humiliated here, the better golfer seriously frustrated. Some architect got carried away with his Mac for golf course design software package. The best thing they could do to this course is bulldoze the green complexes and start over. Golf is supposed to be fun, not hair-pulling drudgery as you 4-putt every hole. The scenery is otherwise quite nice.

Challenging course that is almost always in great shape. Opening holes require accuracy off the tee while later holes challenge your length with tee shots over water. Greens are quick with undulating contours that makes routine 2-putts a challenge and 1-putts highly rewarding. Due to the difficulty of the course, pace of play can be slow at times leading to 5-hour rounds. Rangers do patrol routinely to keep groups moving along though.

You better be accurate! Good Golfers Only! Cant spray tee shots all over the place especially on the first four or five holes that run straight along the top of the Ridge-Line. A nice course for a County Facility. I like(d) it ..... Usually in good shape....Pace of play can be slow when crowded.

Morris countys best and most beautiful course but also the longest and most difficult. Most expensive too. Riding a cart is mandatory. Dont try walking! Why dont courses allow taking the cart out to the parking lot to load up quicker?

Great golf course. Love the layout of this course and its in great condition. Good price. When I first saw the course I thought that it was private but its a public course. Will definitely be coming back.

Beautiful course with red, yellow, white, blue, and black tee boxes. Greens and fairways were very well kept and the proshop staff, starter, beer-cart girl and bbq tent staff were all incredibly nice.

Impossible to beat. Easy to make tee times, the scenery is stunning, and the staff is as cordial as they come. The course is challenging and very well maintained.

A real beauty. Course is always in spectacular shape. This Roger Rulewich design course offers many sculpted bunkers, lakes and streams. Really fun layout.
