Good place to see a movie, clean and quiet. My only complaint is the two times Ive been here to see a movie; its always the people in the theater who ruin the experience. The first was during GET OUT, a fellow moviegoer was tired of another moviegoer yelling during the climax, and asked her nicely to be quiet. The rude and obnoxious moviegoer continued to yell and scream, through the end of the film, and into the parking lot. It was very embarrassing, especially for the rude persons boyfriend, who had to hold her back in order to stop her from assaulting the person who asked her(nicely even) to quiet down. The second time, a friend and I were seeing ALIEN: COVENANT, and four people near us were passing around a phone (on full brightness) and talking about pictures on the phone. They ended up leaving with like 20 minutes to go in the film. I dont know what happened to our society that we cant sit quietly in a movie theater for two hours without doing something stupid, and ruining someone elses moviegoing experience but if youre able to ignore it, this may be the perfect theater for you.

This place has been horrible as long as I can remember. I grew up in Manayunk. Problem is, this movie theater is right by the Wissahickon transfer center for SEPTA, and a train station. This is one of those theaters that looks nice on the outside, seems like a nice area, but you go in, and half the people are texting. Phones ringing, people cursing and being loud during the movies. Groups of teenagers that took the bus go there and go crazy. If I was still 16 this place would be great. As an adult with a kid now, this is the last place I want to take him. Only maybe 25% of the people that go there are from the local nicer part of philly. Most of the locals go to Plymouth Meeting, or KOP just to avoid the BS you have to put up with in this place. And I can pretty much promise that if you tell anyone to politely be quiet in this theater, you will be fighting.

I went to see Hunger Games here with my wife this past weekend. This is the third (and last) movie Ill see at this theater. The convenience of location draws us back every time with the hope that it wont be too bad. The atmosphere during a movie at this theater is (Im guessing) akin to a packed living room of a house in North Philly during a Steve Harvey comedy show except with people paying less attention to what was on the screen. I think we were the only people in the theater interested in the movie. All other movie goers were either on their phones, talking to each other, or loudly sharing their own narratives. Why waste $12?

This theater doesnt have a great rep but Ive gone multiple times over the past few months. The staff is always great. I recommend going during non peak hours for the best experience. You dont want to watch a movie with a full theater here. If the prices were cheaper I would give 5 stars. Its only a dollar more to go to King Of Prussia, so the advantage here is not having to drive so far but you get an inferior experience. Get the ticket and snack prices down and this would be my primary theater!

When new movie theaters are popping up with reclining and stadium seating, this theater still feels like something out of the 90s. Its clean, but old. The problem is that the theater isnt as updated as the newer theaters but still charges the same prices for movies. If I just want to see a matinee close to home its a great theater. Its clean, local, and the staff is nice. However, If Im going out at night and paying full price, Ill drive a little farther and sit in a more comfortable theater.

Terrible movie theater. Screen is small seats are are arranged to low to the ground. On top of all that there pop corn and soda ARE TERRIBLE! Pop corn tasted gross had a stomch ache after eating it and the soda tasted more like water then coke.... And when I got home I threw up so much and had a stomach virus CUASE of their crappy food. Im guessing the food may have been infested with something for me to get sick off of it. Bad experience

Worst experience ever the place was packed only 1 person in the ticket booth and the place smelled the mens room was nasty urine all over the floor no soap to wash your hands and someone was in there doing drugs the theater itself was very dirty the seats were very uncomfortable and stained the floor was sticky people talked throughout the whole movie I will not be returning to this theater ever again thanks for the terrible experience

Nice theater. Very Nice Staff. We purchased a ticket online to see the 8pm showing of Get Out. The theatre was packed by the time we got there and we would have had to sit in the front row...nobody enjoys a movie like that. We told the manager about our issue and her gladly exchanged the ticket for the next show, to which we showed up super early because we hung out at the lounge next door (thats another review). Awesome!

Easy parking. Very nice and clean atmosphere. Seating is comfortable. The bathrooms very clean and stocked. I have seen no evidence of bedbugs. UA Main Street Theatre 6 is a fun, safe, comfortable, and clean environment for you and your children. I repeat, this theatre does not have bed bugs or it would be closed. Go and see for yourself how great this theatre is.

The ticket booth lady very nice and professional as well as the young lady at the concession stand. However, the bathrooms dont have paper towels at all. The door is a pull for from the inside. So your hands NEVER clean. My concerns are if the employees use same bathroom. (HANDS ARE NEVER CLEAN) if so. Otherwise theaters were clean.

With their one row seating options, Im not sure why they continue to sell tickets even when the place is packed to capacity! They had no popcorn along with cold pretzels and cheese which was a disaster ! I had to stand to watch my movie until I got fed up and left! No matter what time of day, it is always crowded!

This is another great theater in the area this one is in Manayunk, its very big and it has many Theatres and they usually have all the newest movies. Right next door is a diner, so if you go there with your family to see a movie you can go to the diner to get some food before you go to the movie.

Noon film today.9/24/16. Wallet contents lifted at cashier window. How = slick inside job. Credit card charges upwards of $600 while we were watching film. Stay away. Guy just rang bell... returned license found on street in Brewerytown. Wanna share video of front desk w/me and police?

Not a place I can recommend to catch a movie. The theater is old, cold, and typically dirty. The staff try their best, but in the day of rising movie ticket prices, nothing can make up for the facility. If an upgrade happens, Ill be the first to give them another try. Until then...

Small theater that has an overwhelming smell of funk from previous floods. Service is adequate, and it is a good spot to see movies. I really wouldnt got out of my way to try this spot even though it is close to my home. Ive visited once in the five years Ive lived in the area.
