Well Olde Town... I have loved you since my grandpa took me here when I was a young child, but my last two times here has really just done it for me. Usually I always come to this theater for the friendly staff and Home feeling of being in good Olde Town arvada. I came to see Black Mass with my fiancé we are both in our 20s and while purchasing the tickets the new guy was absolutely rude from the time we walked in. He was on his phone the whole time and smelled of B.O. when he asked to see our drivers license my fiancé pulled out his and then asked for mine I told him that I didnt not have my wallet on me which was true. He said he couldnt sell us the tickets which I can somewhat understand but by no means do we look younger then 17. So I had to rush to my home to grab my license and by this point Im so agitated l, when we went to the kiosk to purchase are tickets there was another guy who didnt when check our license.... REALLY. Then we went to purchase food and drink which of course like always the popcorn tastes like it had been sitting there for there whole service from open to close. Then the guy who we first delt with went and whispered into the old lady Manger well into her 60s about us and were pointing at us as well. I felt as if I was doing something wrong... this made me feel so uncomfortable. When the old lady took our tickets she then asked for our drivers license again. At this point my fiancé is beyond upset, my fiancé asked why she needed to see our license since they check up front... she never answered, but after a minute of trying to read our license she said I can come and check these anytime I want. This was so inappropriate and for me who spends a lot of money at this poor and frail theater every year I am just baffled at the way I got treated. I can safely say I will never be back and I suggest for other to spend money at the AMC where the popcorn is fresh and the theater isnt falling apart also so you dont have to be interrogated to see a movie

Went to see Bad Moms last night. Theater we were in had NO air conditioning. It was probably about 90 degrees in there. A group of 6 drunk women came in during previews and sat behind us, started belching like you wouldnt believe. Yelling to each other and talking non stop. Very loud and talking throughout the first 15 mins of movie. I got up and complained to manager, after about 30 mins they came in and told the women they had multiple complaints and they would have to leave. After arguing with them (loudly) for about 10 more mins, they finally left. We all had about 15 mins of normal movie viewing before they all streamed back in and loudly announced "thats right! Were back!" And sat down. 10 mins later they tossed a full drink at the back of our heads. Got in our hair and on our clothing. This time my friend and I both left to find the manager. The female employee said she wasnt the one to let them back in, and that she didnt agree with the managers decision. They had us point them out and they kicked them out again. They tried to confront us in the hallway to entice us to...I guess fight them? Anyways we went back in and got to see the last 45 mins of the movie. When we walked out into the parking lot all the women were waiting for us there. Thanks Landmark for taking the safety of your guests into consideration!!!!! My entire movie experience was ruined.

So....Josh, the manager, thinks it is good business practice to enforce rules regarding ticket purchases for rated R movies ONLY if he is there physically at the movie theater. My 17 year old son tried to purchase tickets for him and his girlfriend this evening. He wasnt allowed to buy her ticket because she is just shy of 17. BUT last week they went through the exact same process and purchased tickets for "Sausage Party" and the week before that they saw "Suicide Squad". Tonight one of the boys selling the tickets, who happened to have been turned down for a prom date a couple of years ago by my sons girlfriend, decided to use his "power" and randomly enforce this rule. I was told I would have to go in and watch the movie with them. Now, I have no problem with CONSISTENT use of rules. But when I asked to speak to Josh, the manager, his mealy mouthed response to why the rules are not enforced consistently was unsatisfying. So for parents that worry if their underage kids are getting into rated R movies...theres a possibility, because this theater has no concept of how to treat the rules consistently across the board and seem to adjust the protocol depending on who they are friends with and how they want to exert their minimum wage power.

I have been going to this Theater for years, I went yesterday and spent over two hours in a theater that was so cold that I had to go outside twice during the movie just to get warm. Other patrons were leaving as well and coming back with coats and blankets from their cars. It was the worst movie experience I have ever had. After the movie I asked for a manager and went to guest services and spoke with an employee back there who did listen to my complaint but pretty much told me that it was just to bad. He didnt apologize , he didnt offer to pass the information along. I am sure that my complaint went in one ear and out the other. When I am spending $22 for a couple to see a movie and then another $20 on snacks I feel that my complaint should be taken seriously and that when I ask for a manager I speak with someone who is at least out of high school. I am very concerned that customer comfort is apparently such a low priority in this theater. It was a very bad experience, and at least feeling like I was being taken seriously would have helped.

I would give this zero stars of I could. There is nothing good I can say about this theater. We live in the area so for years this was our go to theater of choice. We have not been out to see a movie in a couple of years, but there are actually films I want to see on the big screen this season, so we went. Its never been a high scale theater, but I was appalled to see how bad theyve lee it get. The seats we absolutely disgusting - I didnt want to sit down for fear Id stick to the seat and not be able to get up. The sound was SOOOO load. I came to watch a movie, not lose my hearing!! I even went and asked the manager (teenager! - that explains the problems right there) to turn it down as several people in the theater were covering their ears. It made a minimal difference at best. We finally walked out about 40 minutes in not because of the movie, but because of the theater. We will not go back, which is a shame. As I said - it is in our neighborhood :-(
