The Elvis Cinemas has been the go to spot to see a movie that we missed at AMC for many years. With very cheap tickets, and great popcorn, it seems like a steal....accept for a couple of factors which I realized on my last visit. My last visit to the movie theatre was a very rough trip. About a week ago, me and my father visited the movie theatre to see "Kong:Skull Island". We purchased tickets, grabbed some popcorn and sat down in the movie theatre as usual. My dad then commented on the fact that the screen was incredibly dirty. I dont understand how the screen even gets as dirty as the screen was in our movie theatre. We ignored it, and began to enjoy the film. About 20 mins in, an older couple (late 50s to mid 60s) walked in. The dude had a biker jacket on and a large, grey beard. He sat right in the row in front of us, blocking us completely. Once again we tried to ignore it, but the dude began legit yelling about his chair being messed up. My dad is a very "Dont interfere unless someones being hurt" type guy but even the guy sitting in front of us got him a little hot headed. He continued to complain and complain about the status of his very "uncomfortable" chair. Although the seats there arent "premium" quality, they are okay for sitting on for 1-2 hours. The guy finally got feed up and brought in a older man (the guy was around the same age as the biker dude). The biker guy (well call him Bob) informed the dude who worked at the movie theatre (well call him Dave) that he was sitting on the other side of his wife. Dave checked the seat and Bob got angry that Dave was checking the wrong seat. Bob yelled once again, "I said other side dumb-ass!". Dave turned around and said, "Dont you dare talk to me like that. You insulted me when you walked in!". The two continued to bicker until Bob stated, "Come on buddy, we are takin this outside.". After they left, I never saw Dave, Bob, or Bobs wife return to the movie theatre. I dont know what ended up happening, but I thought it was interesting experience to share. The movie was awesome and the Elvis Cinema 8 is even more awesome!

Went to go see a movie last night with my son. Now I have experienced multiple events and situations at this theater, such as drunk people being allowed in who are clearly intoxicated and not able to move very well, have them be loud and disruptive throughout the movie, people smoking electronic cigarettes etc. as well as the occasional rude employee. But last night tops it all! The manager Abby, or Amy came around the corner to a line of people wanting to see a movie and shouted rudely, "I have four other registers open so quit blocking my damn doorway." When I commented to the manager that she couldve just said there are other registers open, as none of us in line waiting knew there were other registers available & no one was directing where people should go. This manager then commenced to getting rude & snippy with me, having an attitude with me "well if you werent so dumb and would have gone through the other door, you would realize there were other registers here at the counter." This Is by far the WORST service Ive ever received there, when I asked for a managers name other than her the one, the lady told me that she was the other manager they were extremely busy. She did not apologize for any miss behavior & also had an attitude. There are other theaters that offer really great prices for movies and people dont get treated that way. Took my son to Belmar century 16 movie theater as Tuesdays they offer five dollar tickets. Enjoying a brand-new movie "Trolls" in a really nice theater, century 16 and I didnt get yelled at by the manager. Consider my business moved elsewhere!

Ive been to the Elvis many times but I went last night and just did not have a great experience. I went to see a showing with my sister to ee the 9:15 showing of Batman vs Superman the concession rep seemd like she was just annoyed to be there. I got past that maybe she had a long day. I sit through previews and turns out we were sent to the wrong movie. When directed to the correct theater with other guest the movie was already 10 mins in. The manager refused to restart the movie even though everyone had missed the first 10 minutes. "You only missed the first 10 minutes" were her exact words while she shurgged her shoulders and walked away. I informed the other ladies that I was leaving and wanted a refund because even though the tickets are cheap I dont want to watch a movie that has already started because myself and other customers were sent to the wrong theater. Before last night I have enjoyed going but seeing the lack of care for customers really turns me off. If I do go back it definatly wont be for a long time.

We usually like Elvis cinemas, but we went to see Arrival and there was a 10 minute behind the scenes show that was played BEFORE the movie that spoiled the entire plot. If you have seen this movie, that is a BIG deal and completely ruined the experience. I went and talked to the manager and he told me that the production company that sends them the film requires them to show it before the film. Why would a production company ruin the experience for all of their viewers? We googled it and nobody is saying this happens. The manager told me if i didnt like it I could write the production company, didnt even apologize, and didnt offer any coupon or discount. I will never be going back.

Ive been going to this movie theater ever since I was a kid. This is a discount movie theater that shows movies for a fraction of the cost, still on the big screen. They show movies a little after they start pulling the films from the "big chains" and before the movies come out on DVD or blue ray. Its a great concept and affordable way to see the blockbuster shows. This is a popular place and is usually crowded so get there early to find a good seat. Concessions are decently priced. Go to the nearby King Soopers and buy a pack of gum (or candy) before the show, and the back of the receipt will usually print out a buy one get one ticket to Elvis cinema.

This place is pretty awesome. Very inexpensive and very nice staff. Most of the staff are teenagers so Im not expecting top notch customer service, but they are very sweet. Food isnt too bad, its typical theatre food. No better at Bel mar or the mills mall. The air conditioning is cold but they expect a crap ton of people in one room at one time, and they let you bring blankets. Id rather be too cold than too hot. Nice place to go see movies that you wanna see on the big screen but dont wanna pay $16 a ticket for.

I have been to this theater SEVERAL times and have never had a bad experience. The lobby is always clean as are the restroom facilities. The Theaters are pretty well kept up and are MUCH better than most "Dollar Theaters". I enjoy the popcorn from here so much that I just drive by and pick it up for home. The staff is young and that needs to be kept in mind if you have issues. But again, I have never had a problem and as long as you are courtious, they are too!!! A MUST EXPERIENCE!!!
