We got married in TN and decided to have our reception with friends when we returned. Valle Vista had the date and time available so we booked it. We were told to schedule another date to taste the food. Unfortunately that was not true because on our second visit and several phone calls we were told that with the buffet (finger foods basically) they dont offer any tasting of the food that will be served. We had already put our deposit down so we definitely felt stuck at that point. At our first visit, we were told that we were the only couple that had booked for that date so we went to the different rooms and selected the one that wed like. She explained if there was another party that had more people then wed be moved to a different room but shed let us know in advance. I appreciated her honesty but was so in love with the view from one room that I was hoping wed get that room. Well... we took our centerpieces in and was informed that there was another party - in fact there were two others that had booked that night, plus our reception. We never received a phone call or email like we were told. The lady said we were in this room (pointed and walked to it). I asked if it was all around the same size and she said yes... so it didnt make sense why we wouldnt get the room especially since all three weddings/receptions were the same size and we booked it before anyone in that date. My anxiety started to rise because I had continued to be told one thing and things changed. The same lady came back and said "Im sorry but another bride requested that room." I started getting ready eyed because nothing is going smoothly. The night of our reception we walk in... come to find out we got the room we requested and there was a miscommunication who booked it first. Phew!! That was good... so now I was just praying the food was good since we never got to taste anything. My maid of honor and I were walking... out of nowhere a women came to me and said "go into this room"- we were in there for 30 minutes. Eventually my dad came in and asked what we were doing... well we were doing what we were told. So my maid of honor and I got on the elevator to go upstairs... the door opens and another bride stood there and the worker got on her walkie talkie to say "ummm another bride just came upstairs." Her face looked like I had just committed a crime... and we were instructed to go downstairs. Here we go again... my maid of honor and I listen... and down we go. It gets better, trust me. There was another lady with a walkie talkie who grabbed by arm and said get over here. She had me hide behind a wall because and I quote "another bride is coming". WOW Luckily we can all laugh about everything, but for any future brides and grooms... take your money somewhere where it can be a pleasant experience. They book too many parties at one time. The communication is terrible. I didnt feel like I was treated well and to hide three different times due to two other brides being ther is unprofessional and disrespectful to those who pay to celebrate. We had more fun back at the hotel with friends and family... and nobody asked us to hide either- :) My advice... dont waste your money. Youll be sharing the building with who knows how many others and its a day youve been waiting for- so spend your money where theyre going to treat you amazing and where everyone can celebrate without celebrating with othe brides! I gave it a one star just because its hilarious now. Our friends and family still talk about the awkward situations that occurred that night... and well continue to tell everyone not to waste their money. I guess on a positive note, they made our night memorable! Food: nothing special Scenery: Good Cake table: Back faced some guests no matter how we turned Staff: Ehhhh Based on other reviews, Im sure youll say you wont be able to find me in your system... very ironic how that happens in your bad reviews! If I were management Id delete us as well because the experience was embarrassing for you guys!

My husband and I had our Vow Renewal Ceremony at Valle Vista on Aug 5, 2017. The team at Valle Vista is AMAZING! They handle EVERYTHING! You just pick your food/drink package, decor, and a few other odds and ends and they handle it all. There is no need for a wedding planner!! Valle Vista was even cheaper than the other places we looked out and we got WAY more for our money than the other places. The only reason why I give 4 star instead of 5 is because someone messed up our ceremony music. The song I was suppose to walk down to played in its entirety before I got out of the horse carriage. I will have to check the video, but I am not sure if they replayed it or if they let the next song play. My husband (being the tech guy that he is) even edited the songs so they wouldnt have to fade it or anything, just hit play. we made it so simple and they messed it up still. And the music for the sand ceremony didnt even start playing until it was halfway over. They also have fake cakes, but we were under the impression that guests wouldnt know it was fake. There was a massive misunderstanding there. And I did not like the way the head table and cake table was set up. We had our backs turned to the head table during the cake cutting. No matter which way we stood at the cake table, our back was to some of our guests. Other than those things, it was a grand experience. The coordinator and staff we worked with did an amazing job!! Right down to the bus-boys! We are extremely non traditional and have been married for 5 years already, so the issues that happened were not a massive deal to us. We just wanted to spend it with our family and get the "Wedding Day Photos" too. However, if it was someones actual Wedding Day, the ceremony music can be a HUGE deal. Same with the reception set up. We okay-ed the set up in the reception room, but did not think about how it would be with guests at the table, so be sure to keep that in mind when you verify the reception room set up. The Buffet set up was easy and wonderful. No clusters. They made it to where guests could get food from both sides, so it was extremely smooth. The dance floor was nice and out of the way of the tables and the bar was elegantly placed out of the way to where all guests could get to it. All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our coordinator (we will call her P), P. did a fantastic job!!! I even got mud on the middle back of my dress from taking pictures and she got it out in less than 5 minutes! She LITERALLY saved the day!! She was super friendly, personable, and apparently a magic worker, too. lol. Everyone was impressed at the scenery of the building and the ceremony area and had a very nice time

My wedding at VV was beautiful, but if I were to do it over again I would choose a different venue. VV does a large number of events, so while they do have a lot of staff on had to help things run smoothly, they also have a lot of rules and a very strict schedule to make sure each wedding fits within their cookie cutter mold to help things move along. For example, you will not know which reception room you will be in or what kind of tables (round vs rectangular) until two weeks before the event because they will have 3-4 weddings at the same time as yours. You also will not be allowed to get ready at the venue, and the groomsmen will not be allowed to arrive until 15 minutes before photos are supposed to start. While the staff members I worked with were all very kind, I felt like this place operates in a way that focuses less on the couples getting married and more on chugging out as many weddings as possible. Our wedding specialist, Rosie, was easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. The accessory coordinator, Donna, scheduled our one and only meeting 10 months out from the wedding (too early) and she skipped the décor drop off time that SHE scheduled. The décor was set up wrong, but thankfully our florist (who wasn’t allowed into the room until 90 mins before the reception) was able to change things around and make it look great. You don’t get to meet or speak with the day-of-coordinator until the rehearsal, which led to some weird moments like her grabbing my MIL instead of my mom all night, but overall I think she did a good job of keeping things on schedule and handled stressful day of situations well. VV only offers in house catering, but they were able to customize the menu for us to allow for vegetarian options and guests thought the food was great. Our bartender was fantastic - remembered everyones orders! Wrapping up - Evaluate your personality and think very hard about if this type of venue is the right fit. It was not for me.
