I took my 4 year old son to this movie theater to see "Delhi" a supposedly children animation. The trailers (coming soon / sneaks) were all violent with too many fight scenes, very inappropriate for kids. We dont let our son watch violent shows on TV or even violent animations. He asked me several times why the people in the movie punch an kick each other. Anyways, after the movie start we realized that it was a foreign language movie! neither on Google nor on their own website, there was no explanation about this. Before going to movie I checked several times to make sure that the movie is in English language. Even the animations trailer was in English language. So I decided to talk to the Theater manager. A guy just say hi and gazed at me with stone face. I politely explained my concerned and told him to forward my concerns to the Regal Crown or whatever company manages their theater. He answered in quick aha, OK (if youre done let me go back to my work). That was when I decided to ask him for a comment/feedback form and also to write a review for their very poor management and customer service.

Have enjoyed this theatre in the past but was quite annoyed at the Manager today when I complained (politely) as my picture got out (only about 15 people in it) that the ladies room was a mess - (several toilets backed up/not flushed, others out of toilet paper) and he interrupted me and said "The movie just got out and this always happens, we just had someone in there cleaning." He was abrupt with no effort at any apology and just walked on. I did not feel acknowledged at all. How could they have "just cleaned" in there if toilet paper role was empty? Disappointed at the lack of customer service.

This guy just walked in DURING movie, from back to front, back and forth a few times with a clip board, blocking my view of the screen. Very annoying, I thought he was looking for some one. Then he came back the 2nd time, did the same. After the movie, I found out he was Westpark 8 employee, I asked him what were you doing there? He said he was doing "head count". Give me a break, who does that during the movie, blocking everybodys view of screen? I missed part of the movie because I sat by the aisle. Cannot they count after the movie, wait at the door? They had to interrupt our movie?

You may mistake this for any other huge theater (if you didnt see the number 8), however, this movie specializes in indie/foreign/art house films! I watched Princess Kaguya and The Imitation Game here and was able to use my Regal vouchers from Costco with no problems. Seating is not stadium style, but I havent had an issue where it was so packed that I couldnt see past a sea of tall heads. From what Ive seen the theaters are clean, sound is great, and the screens dont have crap on them. Solid place for the unique films to be shown here!

The theater was clean and I feel like they usually have good service. But I came when they first opened and they opened after their opening time which is supposed to be 11:30 I presume. While I was waiting there they didnt even acknowledge my existence and once they finally served me they didnt apologize at all for the wait or talk to me in any way.

I like the location and great parking. Hate the "head count" while the movie is playing, I feel like the caztapo is keeping an eye on us, its very disturbing. Snack people are very helpful and polite. Theatres seats are problemantic with bad screen viewing. Wonderful bathroom, it is clean and fresh smelling and never a mess in the stalls.

The theater has good parking but the seating left a lot to be desired. This theater doesnt have stadium seating which is terrible in todays times. If a tall person sits in front of you , then you will not be able to see the movie comfortably. I would only recommend this theater if you got no other option.

Great selection of independent and foreign films. I remember as a kid the day this place opened in the 90s and Mr Edwards greeted everyone with free soda and popcorn. The signage lights used to be brighter at opening day and people complained it lit up their homes at night so they toned it down.

Westpark 8 is a very nice theater in Irvine on Alton. On Mondays, they have a discount day for everyone. They show Indie films and foreign , art type films. It easy to get to and there are lots of places around the theater to have dinner after the movie. We enjoy going there.

I love this theatre there is always a lot of parking, it is very clean, the employees are nice, and it is never crowded. They play movies I actually want to see and some I didnt know I wanted to see until I looked them up. Top notch Artists theatre!

Old style seating with low back seats and no stadium seating. I have yet to find it crowded as it often shows smaller release and foreign films. The seats are my main reason for only three stars.

Outstanding offerings in this desert of the bozart! And with headsets for the hearing impaired like me! Prices are average for the OC. LIKE: the close handicapped parking and the ramp.

I have found the ticket takers and greeters to be delightful! Many of them have been there for years. I appreciate that the management has supported these workers in our community.

Nice theater, showing a lot of independent movies. Went to see, The Hero, and ended up finding a nice quiet theater with some friendly staff. Look forward to returning some time.

If you would like to see a non mainstream movie, this is the right place. They have a brilliant selection of movies. But they could use new chairs.

Not most update equipment and customer accomodations, but open to noteworthy indie releases you might not find at other Edwards/Regal cineplexes.
