Came here for their soft opening. Everything is still very new and workers are still training obviously, but it was a smooth experience for us. The workers were friendly and nice. Glad they have a bar where u can order beer or wine!! I posted pics of the menu so u guys can see the prices. Inside the theater, the seats were sooo nice and comfy (although the color choice is questionable.. does it not look like Crest toothpaste??). It felt like car leather seats. Had no problem watching rogue one in 3D. [TIPS FOR WATCHING IN 4DX:] I watched Edge of Tomorrow in 4DX in Korea and it was the best experience ever!! I never had such a fun experience watching a movie before. The chair was moving, water was sprayed at my face, and It was just amazing. But then I watched Rise of Planet of the Apes in 4DX and it was sooo boring. Not much movement or action other than the occasional breeze.. So ---- I would be more selective on which movies I would watch in 4DX based on the type of movie. Tickets are expensive so I would hate to waste money watching a boring movie in 4DX.

Disclaimer: for those complaining, CGV is a Korean brand theater - NOT an American one. What Regals or AMC is to Americans is what CGV is to Koreans. So of course, there will be Korean movies there and Korean advertisements. Also, about the subs, it should say before you purchase tickets. We bought ours at the electronic kiosk and it read in parenthesis whether it was subtitled or not. I love this place! The overall feel and aesthetic is great! Loved the service as well. Super sleek and modern theater with an old time industrial type feel. As a lover of Korean movies, Im glad a CGV opened here close to me. LA is too far so this is just great! Although for now, their movie options are limited and there are a total of 8 theater rooms, its still great! The only complaint I have is that the actual theater room aesthetic threw me off from the rest of the design of the place but thats it. The entire place is clean and located in a quaint mall that will surely become popular in time. Definitely will come back again ♥

I think everyone needs to try a 4D movie at least once for the experience. The concessions and food options are pretty good and this place has more of a restaurant / bar vibe when you walk in. It makes going to the theaters more of an experience and who doesnt want a drink while watching a movie ?

This place is sick. I suggest you guys all try the 4D Experience Korean style. Watch the resident evil here. Its so crazy. Its pretty intense. I wouldnt watch the movie without the 4D. They do play American movies and the seats are incredibly comfortable.

Clean, friendly staff and great sound system. But there is only ONE theatre that is 3D/4D. All the rest are regular theaters and basic seating. Cute place, but havent tried a 4D movie here yet. Heard it is really cool though. Will be coming back soon :)

I had high hopes for the new Cinema in Buena Park but it smelled really weird and added Korean subtitles to Wonder Woman. This was quite unexpected and annoying as you can imagine. With all the options in southern California I will not be back.

The designation seating chart only allowed you to seat next to someone. Movie theater tickets are over price. Seats are pretty small and uncomfortable. Popcorn and drinks are even more expensive compared many different theaters.

This place is really fancy and has lots of options--from exciting ways to view movies (4DX, Screen X, Premium theatres, subtitles, etc) to different food and drinks. Blows any regular movie theatre out of the water.

The newest CGV Cinema has now arrived in Buena Park with comfortable, reserved seats and a gourmet snack counter/bar. Plenty of free parking and extremely friendly customer service in each section of the theatre.

Overall comfortable theater. Comfortable leather seats, but not recliner. 4DX is a gimmick you wont try twice. CGV suffers from a difficult website in the US. 한국말 서비스를 필요하시면 한국말 해도됩니다.
