Not sure where all the great reviews are coming from. Maybe people dont care about the state of the this theatre, which is really showing wear and tear and a real lack of cleanliness. My last visit, was a pretty awful experience. Needless to say, despite the Galaxy being one of the newest theaters in the county, we found the entire theatre pretty throughly disgusting - to the point we will likely not return to this location ever again. 1) Popcorn was all over the floor (does nobody know how to sweep or vacuum). 2) Our seats were sticky - as if soda had been dripped and let dry. 3) The armrests were coated in disgusting grime. 4) The floor was sticky (come on mop?) For a Saturday evening, theres hardly any staff available that can do anything. Tried to find someone, and gave up. They guy who was handling tickets disappeared, and there was nobody at the concession. Ended up just going back to my seat upset about the experience, vowing not to return. On a previous visit, approximately a month prior, I came by myself to see Furious 8 for a D-Box showing. Similar experience however so the above applies in addition to the red D-Box seats were heavily stained. It’s like they had never been cleaned. When I arrived I noticed ALL the D-Box seats were in the same filthy condition. It’s not like this theatre was busy either time - there’s no excuse. There were maybe a dozen people attending the showing we were at, I couldn’t say about the other theaters at the same location, but overall there were no lines for concessions and overall it didn’t seem like there were a lot of patrons; probably because they realized this place is pretty disgusting to visit. For the price you are charging for movies, I would expect to have a clean and sanitary experience, not the feeling like I don’t want to touch anything in the theatre because its sticky, grimy, and fear of getting some STD through contact. I will be undoubtedly be taking my business elsewhere. Its worth driving the additional 20 minutes to San Luis Obispo (where there are well maintained and clean recliners in every theatre) for the same price as Galaxys disgusting rockers.

Nice, small theatre. Inside is nice and clean. Typical cinema prices for tickets and snacks. I usually get tickets online and go straight to the seats since they can be scanned from my phone so I never have to wait in line. I usually go on Thursday night premieres and the cinema is rarely crowded. You do have to get your tickets in advance since by the morning of or even night before the movie the best center seats are taken. Their d box seats are great and very comfortable. The normal seats are a bit smaller and less comfortable. The screens have been good. Its usually very bright in the cinema rooms even till the previews before the movie starts which is kind of annoying if youre looking forward to some trailers. The best seats are the first two rows behind the handicapped seating otherwise youre too far back or you have to look up at the screen. Overall its a nice little cinema that I havent had an issue getting tickets for. I do wish their was IMAX but not too bad.

When i was getting my tickets atthebox office for me and my family. The clerk boy did not even acknowledge me. He just stood there and continue messing with his till. All hehad to do is say i will be with you in a moment. Very rude like millenial behaviour. This occured on 6/21/2017 at approx 6pm. The theatre part was okay but i wish the sound quality was better. I was watching transformers and when watching those type of movies i expect high res sound for the amount i paid for thoae tickets. Also, why the advertisements that play before the movie had to have a lucid LSD filter like your tripping. If i was paying to advertise my business on their screens i would be upset about the fulter that is used for my advertising. I would not doubt that these companies paid good money to not have there adverts appearing like an lsd drug induced experience.

The best thing about our Galaxy Theater is the stadium seating -- if someone sits in the seat in front of you, you can see right over them. As far as cleanliness, Ive never found it to be a problem, but then we always go to the early shows, so the theater hasnt had a chance yet to get messy. My only gripe is that there is no enforcement of cell phone use. Im not talking about phones ringing, but the light that emits from the phone. People just dont seem to have any concern about the light shining into the eyes of others sitting behind them. It is extremely annoying and irritating to my eyes in the darkened theater.

I love this place. No matter the size of the problem the staff are quick to resolve it. They are friendly and eager to make a visit to the movies a great escape with no worries or headaches. Also being able to get adult beverages (overpriced - but its a movie theater what did we expect?) and take them to any of the theaters while watching the movie is a bonus. I truly do love getting to come here, our experiences are 99% good - gotta leave room for the occasional staff who is not having the most pleasant of days!

Reserved seating can take some getting used to, but it means that you can buy your tickets, pick your seats, and forget all about walking into the theater only to realize that you are stuck with the bad seats. They succeed at providing a more personal experience that goes above and beyond the usual cookie cutter theater experience. Plus, they have terrific stadium seating, ensuring that your line of sight is never compromised.

Movie time When you enter the theatre you buy your tickets inside There is a small arcade inside and a snack bar as well When you purchase your tickets you have to select your seats so be prepared Pricing is average They have a cheaper day once a week The seats recline a lot The bathrooms are only in the center area Then singles on the side There is a VIP theater that is 21 and over and allows drinks purchased inside

They serve beer and wine! The seats are comfy with good views of the screen. The VIP lounge and screening room is awesome. They keep the place clean, the womens room has plenty of stalls (no waiting). Love the fact that they have assigned dragging and that you pick your seats when you get your ticket. The only down side is long lines at the concession at times.

You have to pre pick your seats which is odd and takes away from the kids picking their own spots. Also the front row is way too close. Paso Park Cinemas have a front row set further back. They charge for a mini cardboard box if you want one to share popcorn with the kids with less mess for the theater. Park Cinemas in Paso Robles is Way better.

I dont care for preselling specific seats. I dont want to watch people argue over which seat is their s...especially when the movie has started. If you want to be like a live theater venue then have an attendant available to escort to your seat. Otherwise assume we are capable of sitting in seats that arent occupied when we get there.
