I am an avid movie goer, and I LOVE this theater. BUT, I feel it necessary to make a few notations, in hopes it will help the theater. 1) The actual theaters themselves are glorious. New, roomy, and with state of the art picture and sound. A fine experience all-around. 2) The concession service is RIDICULOUSLY SLOW. I am not sure if this is a training deficit or what, but even with the managers helping during a big rush, it is still an unconscionably long wait for simple orders. Please keep this in mind and allow some extra time if buying snacks. 3) The prices are higher than average for tickets, food, and beverages. I understand that a new theater in a relatively expensive part of the country can get away with that, but be advised. I am super in to the movie experience, so I will pay a little extra for the perks of good picture/sound, newness, comfy seats, fewer crowds, etc. Otherwise, I recommend this place overall.

I normally avoid the movie theater due to crowds. This is one I can go to though since its never crowded and you dont feel like youre going to be bumping elbows with someone next to you or have some tall persons head blocking your view of the movie, etc.. Only thing that could make this better is if they put a restaurant or waiting area on the roof since youll have a killer view of the ocean over the sand dunes!

Very comfortable seats but the cashier foe the tickets is very slow. Wait about 10 minutes in the line and it was only 1 group of 3 before us. The food court good selection. Love the popcorn plus you can add on your own butter for the popcorn. We went to see The Jungle Book great movie but the sound was too low and it was only 7 peoples in the theater for this movie that was awesome for us.

Excellence in theater experience The best theater on the coast. Super clean and Very nice staff. The seats are clean and have nice spacing. Good popcorn! Nice snack selection. This is a very nice theater. The interior is spacious and clean. Bathrooms are well maintained. We really like this theater and now with smash burger and blaze pizza so close it makes a nice night out.

Super easy to buy your ticket with the machines, that were fast and easy to understand. No fuss counter to get food and everyone was friendly. Sodas tasted great and popcorn butter perfectly. Movie seats were comfy with a slight recline that made the experience much better. Great quality screen and sound as well.

Pretty new theater built in the ever expanding dunes shopping center. Priced much higher than other cinemark local venues because of the imax screens. Is not the new fully reliable seats that cinemark made a bug fuss about last year for all new locations

I really like this theater. New, clean, nice employees, the XD screen is fun if you want the novelty, and so far its not overly crowded and has good, quick food in walking distance. My preferred theater in the Salinas, Marina, Monterey area.

Great place to watch movies! Ive watched a few movies here already, and I have quite enjoyed my experience. The only downside of it is the military discount. Its kinda tricky to get, they can be kinda stingy about it.

UM Can all other Monterey County theaters get an upgrade to be like this one? Seats are comfy, good eats, only bad part is the ticket machines dont always work and the ticket person can only print out a receipt.

Went to a mantinee shoe...Nice...small and friendly staff...prices are a bit higher for food; than other theaters Ive been too ...but I would go back again..ooh and the seats were very roomy and comfortable....

Live the seating but hate the small concession counter. Its only 5 or 6 screens so it feels really small. Dont kno if it will last with no restaraunts and only limited screens. City screwed this one up...

My first visit was nice and comfortable. It gets full quick! Make sure to go early for good seats. They lack after movie restaurants which is a big plus for movie goers.... Otherwise great new theatre

A great, new theater for those living in Marina or the surrounding area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The chairs are comfy and new. The location is great and easy to get in and see the show.

Kind, understanding staff when it comes to frazzled moms with kids .. very polite and a relaxed environment. Very well kempt theatre areas and clean bathrooms.. non busy streets and great location

It not congested and easy parking. Centrally located to shopping area. Very nice layout of shopping, places to eat, Montage Fitness and the Cinema which is new. I enjoy it the convenience.

Cashier very friendly, clean theatre. Although, seats are very uncomfortable. Need more room for legs to stretch out. Got cramps while watching movie. Need to have a place to put legs up.

Oh boy. Well, its a chain. But a very small one. Limited screens. Staff are all friendly, place is clean, but the selection and times leave a LOT to be desired, ESPECIALLY for the price.

The seats hurt my back every time. As soon as I get out of the seat my back pain goes away. Its weird because they feel comfortable, but arent lol. Other than that the theater is nice.

Very comfortable seating and a slightly expanded snack bar menu. I really like the trash system in the hallway where you can sort your waste and even pour out liquids into a sink.

I did not know that Marina had a movie theater. It is not the largest theater that I have been to, but it is quite adequate. It is relatively new and has very comfortable seats!

It would be nice if they expanded to have more theaters. Seats are leather and recline a decent amount. Lobby is decent sized and open for a theater with only about 5 screens.

Although it is a small theater, it is quite modern. Roomy lobby and a well stocked snack bar help round it all out. Best of all it is less than 4 miles from my front door.

Very small theater, not many movie selections but its located at an unpopular area. Not many people except for bigger movies. Very pricey, no surprise

The seats are nice and recline a bit. The cashier was very friendly when we went. The theater is small but nice and has some XD screens as well.

Problem with online ticketing. XD theatre has steep stairs with very small row landings, quite dangerous for those with limited mobility!

The XD experience is great. Some of the patrons were a bit rude, talking on their cell phones and kicking the back of my seat .
