I was so excited to try Gatsbys, but now that I was there, sadly I wont be going back. My friend and I visted Gatsbys on Saturday, May 21. My Margarita wasnt served in a margarita glass. Instead it was served in a tiny glass and was way overpriced for what I got. I ordered the Coq Au Vin and it has just one small slice of a mushroom in the entire dish. (Coq Au Vin is a chicken and mushroom dish.) My friend had the Skewered Lobster and Filet Kabob. For $31, she expected it to be delicious. It was mediocre at best. When I got my check, I found that I had been charged for someone elses drink. The staff was helpful in fixing that problem, though. My recommendation is this: Go somewhere else.

Very cold when we went to have lunch a few weeks ago. I ordered a pastrami on rye. It was really bad. The meat looked like store bought. It was cold, and had almost no marbling. Not what I expected. Then the waitress asked if we could leave a cash tip because the restaurant deducts taxes (legally) but doesnt pay until the end of the month. In my 20 years in Pottstown, this is probably the 4th iteration of this venue. Guess Ill wait for the 5th iteration!

I was here for Gatsbys, The cocktails are great the wait staff wheres some nice looking outfits and the food it quite alright. They try and offer the "look and feel " of an old speakeasy though in a well fitted large area to dine and drink, however fall a little short of that but it has a nice ambiance.

Love the new Sunnybrook!!!!! They have spent over 3 million dollars in renovations. The dignity of the hall is still intact while the bar and restaurant called Gatsbys has a great new look that is very update and pleasing as well as the food is also above par.

I went to a dance here in the 1950s. The entertainer was Maynard Ferguson. I remember it as one of the best experiences of my life. Great facility, welcoming and safe. So glad to see it is still prospering.

I WAS THERE FRIDAY NIGHT AND THE BAND WAS ALLSOME . AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE DESERTS WHERE HARD TO SAY NO TOO. THE DRINKING WATER TASTED LIKE TOILET WATER. SO BRING YOUR OWEN WATER.

Had dinner in the restaurant recently with family - food was delicious and service was great - waitress was friendly, accommodating and atmosphere was nice. Will definitely return there.

Expensive! And not really worth it. Cocktails are great. Bartenders are very nice. Chef is boring. Applebees is better. Stop buying everything premade!
