I typically enjoy boutique style hotels for luxury amenities & personalized service. Coming from DC the cost of a spacious king room is amazing! Under $200 for a good sized room is awesome. The lobby is well lit, spacious, and welcoming. The front desk staff did put us in a highway facing room on the 5th floor- when someone asks for a corner room this is not the view they had in mind. So be specific with your requests- high floor, river views etc. the service wasnt up to par with the W or Ritz or a Kimpton but thats the only downside. The room has plenty of outlets, a couple bedside, more at the desk, and a couple in the walls. Finally an iHome docking station compatible with the iPhone 6 plus!!!! The closet space is great, roll out drawers were plentiful. No complimentary water though :( bathroom was a stand up glass shower, waterfall or traditional :) the door closes & locks. The breakfast in the morning although not buffet style was incredibly good & healthy!! Late checkout @ 2 was granted after I talked them into it. We are in Delaware theres no way you can convince me youre booked to capacity on a Sunday morning- let us stay two extra hours. Theres a Starbucks about .5 mile away- not corporate though so beware about trusting those baristas w complicated orders. Definitely recommend this hotel.

For the price, not worth it. Well never stay there again. No wifi unless you pay $12 a day for it. Sorry, thats not what a $160 a night hotel does. No complementary coffee downstairs. I didnt want to wake up my wife making coffee in the room early in the morning, so went downstairs to find some, but could only buy some in the restaurant when they opened. Only one towel rack in the bathroom. I am happy to reuse my towels, and would like to hang them up. Even if not reusing, then what, leave on the floor for my wife to walk all over when shes in there? Also, dont get a room on the third floor. I heard another couple complain about lobby and bar noise and that they couldnt rest nor sleep. The lobby is open to the second floor where the pool, gym, and some conference rooms are. Hence, its the third floor directly over the lobby and bar. Everything was clean and the gym was decent. But, Id expect that anyway.

We just stayed for 1 night and really wanted to enjoy the pool for our daughter and I wanted to soak in the tub. The descriptions of the rooms are very misleading. Heavenly bed and bath in a king suite, you imagine a bath and shower. However upon arrival we were informed all king suites are showers only. So dont let that fool you when purchasing a room. The pool is supposed to be heated, but it was NOT. We couldnt stay in long because our daughter was freezing. There isnt free breakfast in the morning unless your a member. And the restaurant inst reasonable. We will probably stay at a different hotel next time. Everything else was ok.. the beds couldve been more comfortable but it was just ok.

My husband and I were had a fantastic evening of dining on the order patio of the Wilmington Westin. From the new Edison bulb lights to the fresh herb garden, the ambiance of the venue left nothing to be desired. The drinks were fantastic- the bees knees and mint julep were delectable!- the food was superb without being too costly, and the servers were friendly and more than accommodating. We stumbled upon this dining delight when we had over an hour wait at Iron Hill and, as a local, not only was I extremely impressed but Ill also return! This was a wonderful evening and an amazing venue.

The location is great. However, that is the last good thing about Hotel. The Hotel has been dirty every time I have stayed here. The first time the sheets had black stains throughout on one of the beds and orange and red stains on the other. The second trip there was hair that isnt found on your head on the bathroom floor upon checkin. The bathroom has black mold, orange and green stains. One of the towels had black stains throughout. One of the beds had a hair and more stains on the bedding. Cleanliness is not a priority apparently l.

They said room charge was $187. Next day when I checked my bank statement it was $202+. NO ONE TOLD ME ABOUT THE TAX WAS GOING TO ADD ONTO ROOM CHARGE. We are in Delaware, what Tax? They said it was residential taxes! There is no free internet, they ask $12+ for internet if you want to connect to the wireless. Limited tv channels. Only one bottle water in the rooms. I am not after $15 tax i paid but I fell like i have been cheated by Westin. If they told me in the beginning I would not have any problem with paying tax.

Why the heck is with these people who say that this 4.2 stars worthy?!?! This hotel is pretty much booked solid the day I arrived. And the room I was put in had urine on the toilet and had no TV working. The WiFi is paid which is very stupid and not good. The TV has no connection and was a "Smart TV" which had their own operating system on in which made it not simple and was very hard to navigate through. The bathroom was disgusting and pissed me off. Never again Westin, never again Westin.

I was recommended this hotel for my wedding guests, and my mother paid for some of the rooms; but the hotel charged my mom guests that she didnt pay for! My wedding was two weeks ago. I left messages for the general manger, and no returned calls and I left one message for another manger. I also been in contact with a coordinator via email and still no phone calls. I am trying to resolve this before my honeymoon! Just need the refund a d a call back! Will not recommend this place at all.

I had the dubious privilaege of comparing this hotel to an Embassy Suites hotel on consecutive weekends. This hotel lost big time. Charges more and deliveres less in almost every category. Sorry, Im not impressed. The rooms are pretty nice quality, but little details were off -- TV takes forever to boot up, almost no dresser drawer space, stingy with all amenities and supplies (e.g., only 2 sugars in the coffee mess, etc.). Too many turn-offs, very few redeeming qualities.

The hotel is awesome! Its very clean and super convenient. We were there for a charity event at the Chase center. I would have given 5 stars except for a rude encounter with a staff member who called the phone and wasnt able to communicate in a respectful manner in regards to a miscommunication about check out. We are SPG members and not used to being talked to in a disrespectful or demanding manner which was disappointing. Outside of that we had a pleasant experience.

This is a really pleasant hotel. The proximity to the local minor league teams ballpark (only a 1 minute walk from the hotel) is really nice as well as the proximity to the riverwalk which is absolutely gorgeous and green. This area is a nice place to take a stroll or workout in a nice outdoor setting, and there are nice places to grab a bite to eat along the riverwalk as well. The only downside to this hotel is the gym is really small and limited equipment-wise.
