I love coming to this theater very comfortable seats etc., however the last time I was there I had a problem with one of the employees, she sells tickets at the door. I asked for 2 senior tickets, when she handed me the receipt it indicated 2 adult tickets. I told her I asked for 2 senior she preceded to tell me "no you didnt" I said "yes I did" again she said "no you didnt" we continued this game for awhile and she finally gave me my change. This rude person has no business working with the public, all she had to say was Im sorry I didnt hear you and correct her mistake. This all took place on 1/1/16 at the 2:15 pm showing of The Danish Girl. Dont know if I will ever come back, but will tell this story to everyone I know.

The employees could act less Superior and more polite. I am not a doddering old fool. I teach at a local college and have two Bachelor degrees and a Masters and while I may look old to them I am only 53. This has happened more than once. I told them that the website I looked at had a time different than what was there and all she did was print something out, shove it in my face and look smug. Not the first time this kind of thing has happened there. I worked my way through college, including at a movie theater.

There were a large number of thefts during the showing. We had multiple cars broken into during a movie, ours included. Laptops were stolen. When we brought what had happened we were informed (after the fact) that there have been a lot of thefts recently at the theatre, to the point of pick pockets inside the theatre during the show. They have done nothing to let their patrons know and they have done nothing to change protocols.

The new management and staff are friendly and awesome. Theyve managed to keep a constant variety of foreign, independent, and obscure films. Not to mention the redesign and ATM machine give it a nice touch. The popcorn is ok, the coffee is a nice addition to the viewing experience; though one can only hope for wine given the regions superb crops.

I love this theater and the movies it plays. The new seats are extremely comfortable. Thank you for hosting the flicks the mainstream theaters are afraid to have. Offering wine and beer would be a great addition. I know its probably difficult to get an alcohol license though. Bonus, the popcorn is the best Ive ever had! A+

This tiny theater plays independent and smaller films. Go here if you want to see something that is very different from the standard box office fare. More artsy and more indy is definitely best way to describe the cinema played here. The seating is fairly average, the concessions standard, the projection just good.

I like this theater a lot, but they keep the movies here way too long. Also, they need to have more foreign films. But compared to other theaters in Santa Rosa, this one is a treasure if you appreciate good films, comfortable seats, and a pleasant movie experience.

Came to watch lala land showing at 7:15, it is now 7:40 and Im still waiting for the movie to start. Not impressed. Plus I buy a large popcorn and by the time the movie is over the popcorn machine is closed down. No refill. Dont waste your money

Small location but great for the foreign and independent films. The most comfortable seats in the world!! Real leather. We wish they would show more Japanese/Chinese/ kung fu films we would be there every night...

Theater 2 has a big BUZZ in the sound system. VERY annoying. I spoke to the management, Santa Rosa Entertainment Group in the past about this. Was told they would look into it. Stay away from theater 2.

Great mix of movie offerings--unique to our area. Clean theaters and restrooms. Friendly staff. Good popcorn. I wish theyd have Coke instead of Pepsi but, hey, you cant have everything.

A good place to see a flick. Used to be owed by a private company, now owned by a larger chain, but the intimacy of an art house theatre remains. Oh and some of the best popcorn ever.

Local owners. Mostly older crowd. Very laid back. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice mix of food and movies. NOT stadium seating. Very old school. Can be an issue if you are short.

Its our arthouse movie theater. Boutique, non-chain. Movies are curated by owner. Concession stand is like a coffee house. An evening for 2 is about $30-40.
