This is my neighborhood theater. I really like it, but they dont show many movies at a given time. The movies they do show often have good variety, ranging from a focus on British films to a James Bond marathon (LOVE!!!) to current films. Sometimes I really dont care for the movie they are playing and its a long time between visits. The staff is friendly and in spite of being small, you can get standard movie fare. Prices are reasonable (and at least cheaper than reserving seats in advance at the kabuki or a comparable theater).

Enough of the hype about these old movie theaters. Theres almost nothing redeeming about the Vogue. Inconvenient location with little parking opportunities and not so fast to reach by public transit. Inadequate toilet facilities. Inexistent lobby. Queuing outside in the wind is not pleasant. Uncomfortable seating, often with obstructed view. SFFS: keep using this below par theater and see attendance to some of your film festivals further decline. Im not going back, despite my love for foreign cinema.

The Vogue Theater was our favorite theater in San Francisco when we lived there. We lived around the corner, and often it was like having our own private theater! Going on weeknights ensured a small crowd, and the prices were much better than multiplexes. The staff were friendly and the popcorn was good. We never participated, but the Vogue also has a lot of special events and participates in great film festivals.

LIttle neighborhood theater is very convenient for older folks in the Pac Heights neighborhood. It is a utilitarian theater with not much in the way of amenities but has fairly good popcorn. The seats are not particularly "luxurious" but if you want luxury, dont attend this theater.

The Vogue Theatre, that should just say it all! One of the older theaters in San Francisco! If you can see a music performance or film, go at all costs! If it means cancelling a date, a dinner, flaking, do it, you wont be sorry! Get the popcorn and enjoy the vintage experience!

one of the oldest remaining theatres in the city, and a good pick for a mid-week relaxing flick. audio + video is relatively new, audience typically on the mature side (nice n quiet), and week night showings are usually easy to just show up & grab a great seat.

Sometimes this theatre has interesting showings, sometimes with guests. I appreciate its independent quality. I have to admit the sound doesnt seem that great, and the seats are not the best.

My kind of theater! Good movies, GREAT service and tasty snacks. Really appreciate these kinds of spots. Very affordable ticket prices. Support an excellent spot and come by for a flick.

This super small theater only provides one movie option a night but the small-ness of it is what makes it so nice. You can enjoy a romantic night out after a nice dinner in the area.

Its a very small local theater, but you can watch movies here that arent shown elsewhere. There will probably only be a handful of other people in the theater with you.

I have no problem with the theater; I havent been there in years. I do notice, though, that the phone number is "no longer in service". Whats up with that, Vogue?

Cute old neighborhood theater with reasonable ticket and concession prices and no crowds. I just wish there were more showings and a better selection.

Nice theater with good pricing and food. Lady taking money was very rude but man behind food counter was very nice.

Neighborhood movie theaters ate getting rare. We make it a point to see movies at them when ever possible.
