Please dont be fooled by the select stadium seats!!! Theatre 17, which I sat in today, has OLD, NASTY SEATS WITH STAINS... there were only about 10 people in this particular show and the floors were sticky and paper littered about the floor. Cinemark needs to pay its employees more so that they can take incentive on how the show rooms look inside... if you come to this theatre bring some paper or something disposable to sit on instead of sitting on the seats, there is no way these seats can be sanitized... I sat on my jacket while thinking about the dirty seats. The group I was with could not bear it any longer and the manager came over and comp our $30 we paid for 3 seniors tickets , that was thoufhtful... maybe the kids could give it a try or just come when the lights are off, but I cant come back again. Upon leaving I realized I left my security blanket jacket which I sat on instead of the chairs. I ran back to the theatre which has already been cleaned!!!!

Workers insensitivity to customers is only exceeded by their rudeness. I was watching a feature with my wife today. The seating did not have enough leg room, so I moved my feet occasionally and touched the seat in front lightly a few times when I moved my feet. The man in the seat in front sent his wife to complain to the management that I was kicking his seat-- untrue! Two young employees soon appeared and commanded us to move, without making any attempt to determine what really had happened by listening to our explanation. What had been an enjoyable date became a forgettable, insulting episode. I informed the rude young woman that her behavior was an insulting affront and she responded with attitude as thick as molasses. We left the theater immediately afterward and the abysmal customer service makes it easy to never return.

While watching Wonder Woman in Auditorium 11 I noticed the projector has two stuck image elements. Distracting in the movie but not terribly so. On exit from the theater I did mention the issue to the manager on staff at the time. He seemed interested to address the issue. Always good to feel local management is interested to keep things running well. Other than the projector issue, I found my experience satisfying. Love the reserved seating. The popcorn is good. Mr. Pibb at the drink fountains is good. XD Seats are comfortable. The view to the screen is totally unblocked. Theater parking at Tanforan is easy to deal with Ill knock a star off for the XD screen issues this time, but its likely they will be back up to five stars for future visits. I definitely enjoy the Tanforan location and will be back again.

I go to the movies a lot and this is my favorite one. It actually has parking(!!!!) even if the garage fills up, there is a parking lot below, and plenty of parking around the rest of the mall. Its built into the mall, you have to go into the mall entrance to get into the theater. Cushiony luxury seating. Assigned seats; you can buy ahead of time and pick your seat so it doesnt matter how early/late you are. Great food selection. Standard items plus pizza, hot dogs, pretzels, and much much more. Plan ahead (get a ticket beforehand, its worth the dumb 3 bucks or whatever fandango charges) and youll have a great time!

I stopped going here some time ago even though it is close to me. I usually go 20 miles away because that theater actually cares about the theater and the customers. I recently went to Tanforan just to save a little time. I went to a 1:00pm showing and the theater was filthy with old food trays and drink cups and popcorn everywhere. This had to be from the night before because the early shows would not have had many people. Nothing has changed over the years and only gotten worse.

The new assigned seating arrangements are a mess. I ordered tickets on Fandango and the chart was wrong; it had the last row of the main floor Section D in theater 18 showing in the balcony. Many people were not in there assigned seats. The usher was reluctant to make people move and it was almost impossible to see the ticket seating numbers without a flashlight which the usher did not have. Please do away with the assigned seating!

This is my go to theatre. Most of the time its not crowded and parking is super easy. Quick tip is to park at target near door and then walk down the steps. Parking in the parking lot next to Sears is amazing ly packed sometimes and its a hassle to get in and out. No imax but I dont think I really care. Eat in the mall food court before hand.

I hate cinemark tanforan I went with may 3 kids to watch kunfu panda 3, I have a 3 months old baby, when they saw my travel systen ( stroller an car seat) they did not let me in with it, they said its a fire hazard, I did not watch the movie I ask for my money back... hated it never going back and workers are rude

I do not like the seating now. I have not been able to sit my friends and it is just awful. I will go to the AMC theatres more now. Plus they have a better STUBS program. Centurys has absolutely no benefit with their cheap program.This seating chart has got to go. I can not even get my favorite seat now. BAD BAD BAD

The movie was great. The place looked dated, there was a fire drill halfway the show and it took them 10 minutes to restart the whole thing. The popcorn at the entrance wasnt fresh. $10 for a small bag of popcorn and small soda. And the popcorn was off! Really, if it wasnt because I really enjoyed the movie...

This is always my choice of theater for its location and always great selection of movies to pick from. I had never experienced anything negative from this place. I generally dont like the younger crowd when watching movies and this place to me seems to have a slightly older crowd which I enjoy more.

This is actually a pretty convenient theater for those living in SF, since theres a BART station right there and its only a 15-20 minute drive. There is a big food court with lots of options right below the theaters too

Nice theater. Was small, but the movie had been out a few weeks so it was totally fine. Signage to the cinema could have been better, and getting to and from the parking structure was a bit confusing.

Holy cow. Our theatre was an absolute mess. It looked like it wasnt cleaned in the entire day and because of reserved seating, we got stuck in super gross seats.

Usually a decent place to chill and view a flick. Always has the newest movies and some foreign films from time to time. They also have good deals for prices.

The parking is always dicey and the chairs are uncomfortable. There are much better theatres in the area than this one.

Garage is too small. No UP and DOWN signs,,, Just "EXIT". No excuse. Park outside in Sears lot.
