At todays showing of Avitar in 3D the voice audio track became so muffled that no one could understand the dialog. Avitar in 3D is supposed to be the movie experience of the year, and this theater botched it. No one could see the last third of the movie. At first they wouldnt commit to refunds, then they said that if you brought the ticket stub back later they would honor it. I left and later learned that they were issuing refunds. They didnt tell us that when we left, so we will be forced to return to this poor quality location. I will never return there again.

My favorite Marin theater. Huge screen, superior extra-clear surround sound system, comfortable seats, excellent friendly staff, fresh tasty popcorn. Lots of free parking right at the theater. Early bird first matinee $7.50 tickets. Very clean restrooms. Super convenient location right off Highway 101, one block from Book Passage, which is really nice if you get there a little early, as we did yesterday to see "Sully," which is well worth seeing. Tom Hanks directed by Clint Eastwood. How could you go wrong? This theater makes going to a movie a real pleasure.

I love this theater and miss it terribly because Ive moved away! The seats are comfortable and the sound is state of the art. It brings back lots of memories from my youth growing up in Marin. Pick a seat in the middle, just back of the middle speakers on the wall to your right and your left. The speakers behind you will give you the surround sound effect and the speakers in front and the middle will put you right in the center of the action! Highly recommend it! sit back and enjoy! popcorn is good too!

As the last large movie screen in the county, this is a gem to hold onto. Unfortunately, the last rumor I heard the owners are considering selling the property for developing into a similar WinCup monstrosity just down the street. Lots of money has been spent to upgrade all the interiors and infrastructure. The seats are comfy, the screen is clear, the sound is great. It handles all the big budget premiers so make sure to buy your tickets early.

Pretty cool idea if you have never had a drive in movie before. Also get to see two movies for the price of one. Although, I was not impressed with their small shop that provided food and beverages. Overpriced and a very small selection of choices. Might as well bring your own as there are plenty of stores near by.

Oh, I dont want to see this theater go. My favorite screening here was the Justin Bieber movie just after it opened. Hundreds of girls chanting, "You say Justin, I say Bieber!" "Justin" "Beiber" "Justin" "Bieber". Cant beat that. Unless youre a teen on a date sitting in the back row.

With its one giant screen and impressive sound system, this is hands down the best movie theater in Marin to watch mainstream movies. For art house films, check out the Smith Raphael Film Center (AKA, The Raphael).
